verkauft. Außerdem haben sie mehrere Verträge für Aufführungen in
Lateinamerika abgeschlossen.
Sie sind die ersten Spanier im kreieren von reggaetón und die
ersten Zwillingen, die mit diesen Rhythmen erfolgreich auftreten .
Gara und Loida -K-Narias- sie mischen sich ein, auf eine Weise ganz
ander Art zur konventionellen Musik. Ihre Arbeit trifft auf ein breites
Interesse bei der kanarischen Jugend.
Gara and Loida, the 21 years old twins born in Tenerife, have become the new international wonders
of the reggaetón. Their first title, «40 entre las 2»,
registered the most sales of the last decade in the
Canaries and secured for them various live performances in South
America.
They are the first Spanish girls to perform reggaetón and the first
twins to master its rhythm. Gara and Loida – K – Narias – introduced
their own personalities in the reggaetón and made it unconventional.
Their work has also awakened interest from the Canarian youths who
want to follow their path; that’s why they start being known as the
Canarian «carlinhas».
Pretty and graceful, like two palm trees from their neighbourhood
of Añaza – neighbourhood with the worst reputation of Santa Cruz
de Tenerife - the sisters hope to achieve a similar triumph in Spain
after a successful promotion in the Canary Islands and various live
performances in South America.

K-NARIAS ist eine Zeit Bombe, und sie sind im Begriff, im
musikalischen Markt zu explodieren. Ihre Förderer wissen das und
dafür stehen die Sterne günstig auf einem Konzert in La Laguna
(Teneriffa) das ihnen zum internationalem Sprungbrett verhelfen wird.
Hier wollen sie ihren Erfolg wiederholen, der in ihrer vulkanischen
Erde erreicht wurde, wo sie im Begriff sind, eine goldene CD zu
bekommen, weil ihre Themen und ihre Rhythmen so ansteckend sind.
Und sie tanzen wie zweijährige Mädchen bis hin zu ihren Großmüttern.
Eine Mischungen von ‘ jamaikanischem reggae’ und ‘ Puerto
Ricanischem rap’.
Die Zwillinge reisten neulich nach Lateinamerika.
K-NARIAS are a time bomb and are about to reinvent the musical market.
Their promoters know it and that is the reason why on the 8th April they
were the stars of a concert in La Laguna (Tenerife), event that catapulted
them onto the International scene: «K-Narias and their friends», with the
participation of the first representatives of the reggaetón from Puerto
Rico and Panamá.
If they are as successful as they have been on their native ground,
where they are about to get a Gold disc, K-Narias could become the new
stars of the music industry, thanks to their exotic voices and bodies.
Their melodies and rhythms are so catchy and contagious that they are
transmitted from mouth to mouth, hip to hip, they all sing and dance to
it «from the two year old girls to their grand-mothers», says Gara.
The message of their songs is also very different from the spicy,
chauvinist or violent texts of the traditional reggaetón. This rhythm born
in the 90’s in Puerto Rico and Panamá, is a mix of Jamaican «reggae»
and «rap» of Puerto Rico, that very few women have attempted to sing
until now.

Un nuevo grupo infantil, «Baby Models», hace
su incursión en el mundo de la música. Lo
componen cinco niñas de siete a ocho años:
Anaís, Cynthya, Nayara, Sara y Osiris, todas
ellas pertenecientes al barrio de la Isleta.
Todas las integrantes pertenecen al grupo de danza de Silvia Barrera Arnáiz y a la
clase de canto de la profesora Jessica Moredy.
Su primer disco, «Aries», esta compuesto por ocho
canciones al mejor estilo de música romántica
movidita, en las cuales hablan de las aventuras y
travesuras de los niños de su edad.
Actualmente están preparando su gira en la
que actuarán en todos los municipios de las islas.
New children’s musical group
A new children’s group, «baby Models», has made its entrance in the music industry. The group is made of five little girls
that are seven to eight years old: Anaís, Cynthya, Nayara, Sara and Osiris, who come from the neighbourhood of la
Isleta. They are all part of the dance group of Silvia Barrera Arnáiz and of the music class of professor Jessica Moredy.
Their first album, «Aries», contains eight songs in the best romantic «movidita» style, where they speak about the adventures
and mischief of children of their age. They are currently preparing their tour where they will perform in every municipio of the islands.
Neue Kinder Musik-Gruppe
Eine neue Kinder Gruppe, «Baby Models», macht ihren Start in die Welt der Musik. Fünf Mädchen von sieben bis acht
Jahren: Anaís, Cynthya, Nayara, Sara und Osiris, alle sind zu Hause auf der Isleta. Aller gehören zur Tanzgruppe von Silvia
Barrera Arnáiz und zur Klasse der Musiklehrerin Jessica Moredy. In ihrer erste CD, «Widder», verbinden sich acht Lieder
,im besten Stil romantischer Musik ,in der man von den Abenteuern spricht von denen Kinder in diesem Alter träumen. Im
Moment bereiten sie ihre Tour vor in alle Stadtgemeinden der Insel.
