Ulrich Koehler was born in Heidelberg,Germany. He started his career with
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in 1979 as an apprentice in their Wiesloch
manufacturing plant.
Heidelberg is the market leader in manufacturing machines for the Print Media Industry
in the areas Prepress, Press and Postpress.
After his degree in Mechanical Engineering (part time studies) he accompanied several
positions in the Assembly of printing machines and Production Planning prior to his
change to the worldwide Heidelberg Sales and Service organization.
Since 2008 he is SVP Systemservice for the Region Americas in their Atlanta /
Kennesaw support center. He is responsible for the Service and Parts Business in the
USA, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. Prior to this assignment he was in charge for the
Service and Parts Business in Germany and Switzerland for a total of 12 years.
In the last decade he actively accompanied Heidelberg's Systemservice development
from a reactive Service Provider to a proactive and performance driven Service Partner
for all customers in the Graphic Arts Industry.
