Impressions from teachers
The “English to go” international conference sets
out to examine the key aspects of the competenceorientated teacher training methods in SaxonyAnhalt, focusing in particular on the examples from
English Language Teaching to demonstrate the methods used. The conceptual design, implementation
and key results of the Saxony-Anhalt teacher training
initiative “Brush up your English” will also be presented in detail.

After having been in Chichester for some days I do notice, that I have „Brushed up“ a lot. When back at home
after not having talked to native speakers regularly for
some time I found out that I often had to search for
words to express what I wanted, it seems I have switched to speaking English fluently again. That`s just what
I had wished for.
