REACH Statement
On June 1, 2007 the new European Chemical Regulation 1907/2006, REACH (Registration, Evaluation and
Authorization of CHemicals) came into force.
The aim of REACH is to improve the protection of human health and the environment through the better and
earlier identification of the intrinsic properties of chemical substances. REACH applies to manufactures,
importers and downstream user of chemicals within the EU.
TER Group has installed appropriate processes to ensure the REACH-conformity.
We had pre-registered all relevant chemicals within the period prescribed and will use the applicable transition
periods for the actual registration.
We are in close contact with all stakeholders with regard to the last deadline in 2018 and we also examine the
option of further registrations.
In case a substance meets the criteria for exemption these substances are listed in the enclosed table
Exempted substances.
Over the registration period we and our Principals will keep track on the SVHC List (Substance of Very High
Concern) to meet the information obligation set by Article 33 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
In case a new entry affected a product of the TER GROUP or our Principals, you will receive the updated
Safety Data Sheet on our own accord, provided that you have been supplied by the TER GROUP with the
product concerned within the last 12 months.

Exempted uses:
Substances in food or feedingstuffs in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 including use:
(i) as a food additive in foodstuffs within the scope of Council Directive 89/107/EEC;
(ii) as a flavouring in foodstuffs within the scope of Council Directive 88/388/EEC and Commission Decision
1999/217/EC of 23 February 1999 adopting a register of flavouring substances used in or on foodstuffs drawn
up in application of Regulation (EC) No 2232/96;
(iii) as an additive in feedingstuffs within the scope of Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003;
(iv) in animal nutrition within the scope of Council Directive 82/471/EEC
