‫‪ )Alves‬املولود يف السابع عشر من شهر أكتوبر عام ‪1989‬م واملعروف‬
‫بكارلوس إدواردو ‪ ,‬العب وسط برازيلي حمرتف يلعب حالياً يف صفوف‬
‫فريق اهلالل السعودي‪.‬‬
‫ولد كارلوس إدواردو يف منطقة ريبريو بريتو مشاليّ مقاطعة ساوباولو ‪ ,‬يف‬
‫سن السادسة من عمره كان ولد إدواردو يأخذه ملدرسة صغريه للعب كرة‬
‫القدم على الرمال وبعدها بدأ حياته الرياضية يف ثالثة فرق يف درجة‬
‫الشباب هناك حيث التقى فينسيس يوتربيو (‪ )Vinícius Eutrópio‬والذي‬

‫يعد أهم شخص يف حياة إدواردو الرياضية لذلك يعتربه والده وأن ما حصل‬
‫له طوال مسريته مل يكن ليحصل لوال مساعدة فينسيس له منذ الصغر)‪.‬‬
‫يف البداية بدأ ادواردو يف فريق ديبورتيفو الربازيلي(‪)Desportivo Brasil‬‬
‫والذي أعاره عدة مرات يف سن الثامنة عشر ‪ ,‬وهناك التقى بفنسيس للمرة‬
‫األوىل والذي دربه يف فريق إيتوانو الربازيلي (‪ )Ituano‬وفريق فلومينينسي‬
‫الربازيلي (‪ )Fluminense‬وفريق جرمييو بارويري (‪.)Grêmio Barueri‬‬
‫بداية يف فريق إيتوانو الربازيلي لعب كارلوس إدواردو ‪ 15‬مباراة مع الفريق‬
‫يف بطولة الباوليستا عام ‪2009‬م (‪ , )Paulistão‬لعب ‪ 11‬مباراة منها‬
‫كأساسي ‪ ,‬انتصر يف ‪ 5‬مباريات وخسر ‪ 6‬وتعادل يف ‪ 4‬لقاءات بإمجالي‬

‫‪ 771‬دقيقة لعب ‪ ,‬ومل يسجل فيها أي هدف وحتصل على ‪ 6‬انذارات يف أول‬

‫وبعد انتقاله إىل فلومينينسي الربازيلي لعب مع الفريق ‪ 11‬مباراة يف‬
‫الربازيلريو ‪2009‬م (‪ )Brasileirão‬وكذلك يف الكوبا سودامرييكانا‬
‫‪2009‬م (‪ )Copa Sudamericana‬مبجموع دقائق يساوي ‪ 558‬دقيقة‬
‫لعب‪ .‬ولعب منها ‪ 5‬مباريات كأساسي وسجل هدفًا أمام فريق سبورت يف‬
‫الربازيلريو يف الدقيقة ‪ 66‬يف مباراة انتهت لفلومينينسي خبمسة أهداف‬
‫كان هدف ادواردو الرابع منها‪ .‬حتصل خالل تلك الفرتة إدواردو على ثالثة‬
‫انذارات صفراء‪ .‬وكان من ضمن املباريات اليت لعبها يف بطولة الكوبا‬
‫مباراة نصف النهائي واليت تأهل على اثرها لنهائي البطولة‪.‬‬

‫وحني انتقل إدواردو إىل فريق جرمييو بارويري لعب مع الفريق ‪ 32‬مباراة يف‬
‫ذلك املوسم‬
‫ما بني بطولة الكوبا‬
‫سودامرييكانا ( ‪Copa‬‬
‫‪ )Sudamericana‬وبطولة الباوليستا (‪ )Paulistão‬والسرييا أ ( ‪Serie‬‬
‫‪ .)A‬لعب خالل هذه املباريات ‪ 1795‬دقيقة ‪ ,‬بدأ أساسياً يف ‪ 21‬مباراة ذلك‬
‫املوسم‪ .‬انتصر يف ‪ 8‬مباريات وخسر ‪ 13‬لقاء وتعادل يف ‪ 11‬لقاء مل يسجل‬
‫خالهلا أي هدف وحتصل خالهلا على ‪ 6‬كروت صفراء وعلى كرت أمحر‬
‫يف السرييا أ حبصوله على كرتني صفراء يف مباراة خسرها الفريق بنتيجة‬
‫قاسية أمام أفاي الربازيلي (‪.)Avaí‬‬
‫حتدث عن تلك الفرتة أيضا فينسيس يوتربيوس قائال ‪ ( :‬قمت بتدريب‬
‫إيتوانو وكنت حباجة لالعب إضايف حينها أتى كارلوس إدواردو ومل يفارق‬
‫النادي من حينه فقد كان الالعب املناسب ‪ ,‬وتأكدت من ذلك متاما حني‬
‫لعبنا يف ملعب املوروميب (‪ )Estadio Morumbi‬ملعب ساوباولو حينها‬
‫أظهر كارلوس ما ميلكه من إمكانيات وبعد أشهر قليلة انتقلت إىل‬
‫فلومينينسي وقمت باقرتاح الالعب هلم أيضاً وعلى الرغم من كون الفريق‬
‫مليء بالنجوم بداية من تياجو نيفيز وكونكا وفريد وعلى الرغم من صغر‬
‫سن ادواردو انتقل للفريق بل وحتصل على مكان يف التشكيلة)‬

‫يف الواقع مل يضع كارلوس إدواردو أي عالمة يف الكرة الربازيلية قبل أن‬
‫ينتقل يف رحلته األوروبية ‪ ,‬لكونه بدأ يف نادي ديبورتيفو الربازيلي النادي‬
‫الصغري والذي متلكه شركة إدارية تقوم ببيع الالعبني الذين تتوقع منهم‬
‫مستقبل كبري ‪ ,‬علماً بأن هذه الشركة هي من متلك نادي ايستوريل برايا‬
‫الربتغالي الذي انتقل له كارلوس إدواردو الحقاً‪.‬‬
‫انتقل بعد ذلك الالعب الربازيلي ادواردو إىل الربتغال يف الفرتة الشتوية عام‬
‫‪2011‬م يف صفقة إعارة إىل فريق ايستوريل برايا (‪)G.D. Estoril Praia‬‬
‫فريق الدرجة الثانية يف الدوري الربتغالي‪.‬‬

‫لعب يف املتبقي من ذلك املوسم ( موسم ‪2011/2010‬م) ‪ 15‬لقاء منها لقاء‬
‫وحيد يف بطولة الكأس الربتغالية مبجموع دقائق ‪ 706‬دقيقة‪ .‬لعب‬
‫كأساسي يف ‪ 6‬لقاءات منها انتصر يف ‪ 6‬لقاءات وتعادل يف ‪ 5‬لقاءات وخسر‬
‫‪ 4‬لقاءات مل يسجل خالهلا أي هدف ‪ ,‬حتصل على كرتني أصفرين يف لقاء‬
‫وحيد وحتصل على اثرها على الكرت األمحر‪.‬‬
‫يف املوسم التالي (موسم ‪ )2012/2011‬كان املوسم األفضل يف مسرية‬
‫إدواردو فهو املوسم الذي حقق فيه فريق ايستوريل برايا دوري الدرجة الثانية‬
‫الربتغالية وتأهل على إثره للدوري املمتاز‪ .‬لعب يف ذلك املوسم إدواردو ‪33‬‬
‫لقاء ما بني الدوري الربتغالي (‪ )Orangina‬وكأس الدوري ( ‪Taça da‬‬
‫‪ )Liga‬وبطولة الكأس الربتغالية (‪ )Taça Portugal‬مبجموع دقائق ‪1949‬‬
‫دقيقة لعب يف ‪ 22‬لقاء منها كأساسي و‪ 11‬كالعب بديل‪ .‬انتصر يف ‪18‬‬
‫لقاء وتعادل يف ‪ 8‬لقاءات وخسر سبعة لقاءات ‪ ,‬سجل خالهلا أربعة أهداف‬
‫كان منها هدف أمام فريق بيلينينسيس (‪ )Belenenses‬حني سجل‬
‫إدواردو هدفا يف الدقيقة األخرية وكان حينها الفريق خاسراً وانتهت املباراة‬
‫بنتيجة التعادل بهدفني لكل منهما ‪ ,‬وفريق بيلينينسيس باملناسبة هو الفريق‬
‫الذي فاز بدوري الدرجة الثانية الربتغالية يف املوسم التالي‪.‬‬

‫وكذلك سجل هدف االنتصار وهو اهلدف الرابع أمام فريق أوهلينسي‬
‫(‪ )Olhanense‬يف بطولة الكأس بتسجيله هلدف يف الدقيقة ‪ 85‬لتنتهي‬
‫املباراة بنتيجة أربعة أهداف مقابل ثالثة‪ .‬حتصل يف ذلك املوسم إدواردو على‬
‫أربع بطاقات صفراء موزعة على املوسم وبدون احلصول على أي طرد‪.‬‬
‫يف املوسم التالي أول مواسم إدواردو يف الدوري الربتغالي األول لعب‬
‫الربازيلي ‪ 34‬لقاء ما بني بطولة الدوري الربتغالي (‪)Liga ZON Sagres‬‬
‫والكأس الربتغالية (‪ )Taça Portugal‬وكأس الدوري (‪.)League Cup‬‬
‫كان جمموع الدقائق اليت لعبها ‪ 2001‬دقيقة لعب من تلك املباريات ‪21‬‬
‫مباراة كأساسي و‪ 13‬لقاء كالعب بديل‪ .‬انتصر يف ‪ 13‬لقاء وتعادل يف ‪8‬‬
‫لقاءات وخسر ‪ 13‬لقاء أخرى‪ .‬سجل خالهلا ‪ 4‬أهداف منها هدفني على فريق‬
‫ناسونال الربتغالي (‪ )C.D. Nacional‬يف مباراة فاز فيها إيستوريل برايا‬
‫بأربعة أهداف‪.‬‬
‫كانت مباراة إدواردو األوىل يف دوري الدرجة األوىل الربتغالي يف السابع‬
‫عشر من شهر أغسطس عام ‪2012‬م بدخوله يف الدقيقة ‪ 60‬كبديل يف‬
‫مباراة خارج أرض الفريق واليت خسرها بنتيجة هدفني مقابل هدف واحد‬
‫أمام خصمه أوهلينسي (‪.)Olhanense‬‬

‫يف ذلك املوسم حصل الفريق على املركز اخلامس يف الدوري الربتغالي‬
‫مبستوى مميز بعد صعوده مباشرة من الدرجة الثانية وليتأهل لليوربا ليج‬
‫وهي أول مشاركة أوروبية للفريق الربتغالي‪.‬‬
‫ونتيجة ملستوى كارلوس إدواردو املميز يف املومسني األخريين انتقل يف‬
‫صيف ‪2013‬م إىل نادي بورتو الربتغالي (‪ )FC Porto‬بطل الدوري والذي‬
‫يعد أفضل الفرق الربتغالية ‪ ,‬وحينها كان عمر إدورادو ‪ 23‬عاماً‪.‬‬
‫االنتقال إىل نادي كبري مثل بورتو كان خطوة كبرية جداً‪ .‬يف البداية بدا‬
‫أن املدرب باولو فونسيكا (‪ )Paulo Fonseca‬مدرب بورتو غري مقتنع‬
‫بإدواردو يف بداية األمر لذا نقل الالعب للفريق الرديف وأصبح يلعب ما بني‬
‫الفريقني‪.‬حيث كان بورتو ميلك فريقني األول يلعب يف الدوري الربتغالي‬
‫املمتاز والفريق الرديف يلعب يف دوري الدرجة الثانية‪.‬‬

‫وحني اتاح املدرب له الفرصة مع الفريق األول استغلها إدواردو خري استغالل‬
‫خصوصا يف مباراة أوهلينسي (‪ )Olhanense‬واليت انتهت بأربعة أهداف‬
‫سجل منها إدواردو هدفاً رائعًا جداً ومن دون سابق إنذار أصبح اجلميع يلقبه‬
‫بديكو اجلديد (‪ )Deco‬العب املنتخب الربتغالي والفريق السابق‪ .‬هذا‬
‫ويشبه الكثري كارلوس إدواردو أيضاً بالالعب الربازيلي الشهري سقراط‬
‫الفيلسوف والطبيب لكونهما حيمالن نفس األسلوب واألناقة يف اللعب على‬
‫الرغم من أن كارلوس يعد أقصر بكثري من سقراط ومل يلعب قط يف‬
‫كورنثيانز ويقول عن ذلك إدواردو يف مقابلة سابقة ‪ ( :‬ال ميكن أن تتم‬
‫مقارنيت بهم ‪ ,‬ديكو أسطورة يف كرة القدم ومع بورتو حتديدا ويفوق‬
‫الوصف مثل سقراط والذي هو من نفس مدينيت ولطاملا قمت مبشاهدة‬
‫لقطاته القدمية )‪.‬‬
‫لعب إدواردو يف مومسه األول مع بورتو ‪ 40‬مباراة منها ‪ 30‬مباراة كالعب‬
‫أساسي وسجل خالهلا ‪ 6‬أهداف ومبجموع دقائق لعب تساوي ‪ 2543‬دقيقة‪.‬‬
‫ما بني الدوري الربتغالي املمتاز ودوري الدرجة الثانية الربتغالية والكأس‬
‫الربتغالية وكأس الدوري وبطولة اليوربا ليج ‪ ,‬انتصر يف ‪ 21‬لقاء منها‬
‫وتعادل يف ‪ 9‬لقاءات وخسر ‪ 10‬لقاءات‪ .‬حتصل على ‪ 7‬بطاقات صفراء منها‬
‫اثنتني يف مباراة ضمن كأس الدوري وعلى اثرها حتصل على البطاقة‬

‫احلمراء‪ .‬وكان الفريق قد خرج ذلك املوسم من كأس الدوري باخلسارة‬
‫من بنفيكا وكذلك يف الكأس الربتغالية عن طريق ركالت الرتجيح يف‬
‫نصف النهائي من الغريم بنفيكا أيضاً ويف ربع نهائي اليوربا ليج خرج من‬
‫األندلسي اشبيليه رغم الفوز ذهابا يف الربتغال خلسارته يف االياب‪.‬‬
‫كان قد على سقف التوقعات حول إدواردو يف منتصف املوسم إال أن نتائج‬
‫الفريق بشكل عام مل تكن مرضية زادها اصابة قوية إلدواردو لينتهي‬
‫املوسم والفريق يف املركز الثالث يف الدوري لتتم إقالة مدرب الفريق‬
‫الربتغالي فونسيكا يف مارس ‪2014‬م ولتحدث غربلة كاملة يف الفريق‪.‬‬
‫وحول االصابة حتدث عنها إدواردو ‪ ( :‬كانت سنة متعبة للغاية مع الكثري‬
‫من مشاكل املفصل واألوتار وهذا ما أثر عليّ يف نهاية األمر )‪.‬‬
‫املدرب اجلديد لبورتو االسباني يولني لوبيتيجي (‪)Julen Lopetegui‬‬
‫أعطيت له الصالحية لتغري كامل الفريق ‪ ,‬وعلم حينها إدواردو أن فرصة‬
‫اللعب لن تكون كبرية خصوصا بتواجد األمساء التالية يف الوسط ‪:‬‬
‫كازميري (‪ , )Casimir‬كامبانيا (‪ , )Campaña‬أوليفري (‪, )Óliver‬‬
‫افاندرو (‪ , )Evandro‬كوينتريو (‪ , )Quintero‬ابراهيمي (‪, )Brahimi‬‬
‫روبني نيفيز ( ‪ )Reuben Neves‬وأوكتافيوس (‪ )Octavius‬كلهم‬
‫يقاتلون على مقاعد قليلة جداً ‪ ,‬لذا كان الرحيل ال مفر منه‪.‬‬

‫ويف صيف ‪2014‬م ويف الساعات األخرية قبل غلق سوق االنتقاالت مت إعالن‬
‫إعارة كارلوس إدواردو إىل فريق نيس الفرنسي (‪ )OGC Nice‬النادي‬
‫الذي كان حباجة ماسة لالعب يف مركز صناعة اللعب ‪ ,‬حيث كان‬
‫املدرب كلود بويل (‪ )Claude Puel‬والذي يدرب فريق نيس منذ عام‬
‫‪2012‬م حباجة إليه وسبق أن طلب الالعب قبل انتقاله لنادي بورتو وذلك بعد‬
‫استشارة كوستينها (‪ )Costinha‬الالعب السابق لبورتو والذي لعب حتت‬
‫قيادته يف موناكو‪ .‬وحول االنتقال حتدث كارلوس إدواردو ‪ ( :‬أردت فعالً‬
‫القدوم إىل هنا ألن النادي سيتيح لي الفرصة للتطور ‪ ,‬فلم آتي إال ملعرفيت‬
‫للفريق فصديقي أديلسون (‪ )Adeilson‬الذي كان معي يف فلومينينسي‬
‫سبق له اللعب هنا يف نيس ويعرف النادي واملدينة وأخربني الكثري ‪ ,‬وبالفعل‬
‫النادي منظم ويساعد على التطور أعلم متاماً ما سأجده هنا )‪.‬‬

‫كان موسم إدوادرو مع نيس (موسم ‪2015/2014‬م) مومساً هاما يف‬
‫مسريته فخالله عاد بعد اصابته أقوى من السابق ووجد االستمرارية يف‬
‫اللعب مع الفريق ليصبح أحد أهم العيب الفريق وعلت قيمته السوقية ألعلى‬
‫قيمة وصل هلا الالعب منذ بداية احرتافه‪.‬‬
‫لعب ذلك إدواردو ‪ 30‬مباراة يف الدوري الفرنسي ‪ 29‬منها كأساسي وواحدة‬
‫فقط كبديل‪ .‬بإمجالي لعب ‪ 2331‬دقيقة سجل خالهلا ‪ 10‬أهداف وهو‬
‫املعدل األفضل طوال مسريته‪ .‬وحتصل على كرتني أصفرين وطرد مباشر‬
‫يف لقاء سانت ايتيان (‪ )Saint-Étienne‬والذي انتهى بالتعادل السليب‪.‬‬
‫كان أول هدف حيققه إدواردو مع الفريق هو هدف الفوز يف الديربي أمام‬
‫فريق موناكو الفرنسي (‪ )AS Monaco FC‬يف الدوري الفرنسي عن‬
‫طريق ركلة حرة ذكيّة يف سبتمرب ‪2014‬م املباراة اليت انتهت بهدف مقابل‬
‫ال شيء ‪ ,‬وصرح بعد الديربي رئيس النادي الفرنسي ‪ ( :‬انتقدنا الكثري على‬
‫التوقيع مع العبني يف الدقائق األخرية يف سوق االنتقاالت ‪ ,‬ولكن ذلك كان‬
‫جمديًا على العبني مثل إدواردو )‪.‬‬

‫يف الدوري الفرنسي أيضا ويف أكتوبر عام ‪2014‬م سجل إدورادو مخسة‬
‫أهداف أمام فريق جوانغام (‪ )EA Guingamp‬يف مباراة انتهت ملصلحة‬
‫نيس بسبعة أهداف مقابل هدفني سجل فيها إدواردو هاتريك يف الشوط‬
‫األول فقط ‪ ,‬قبل أن يسجل هدفني آخرين يف الشوط الثاني وعند الدقيقة‬
‫‪ 64‬كان أول العب يسجل ‪ 5‬أهداف يف الدوري الفرنسي منذ عام ‪1984‬م ‪,‬‬
‫وهي أول مرة أيضاً يسجل فيها العب من نيس مخسة أهداف من أسطورة‬
‫فرنسا ونيس جست فونتني (‪ )Just Fontaine‬وذلك عام ‪1954‬م‪ ,‬علمًا بأن‬
‫إدواردو حصل يف ذلك اللقاء على تقييم ‪ 10/10‬من صحيفة ليكيب‬
‫الفرنسية (‪ )L'Equipe‬وهي أول مرة حيصل عليها العب يف الدوري‬
‫الفرنسي يف تاريخ الصحيفة ‪ ,‬ومن املضحك أن حتتاج للعودة ألكثر من‬
‫عشر سنوات لتبحث عن العب سجل هاتريك مع نيس والذي حدث عام‬
‫‪2004‬م عندما سجل النيجريي فيكتور أجالي (‪ )Victor Agali‬هاتريك‬
‫للفريق الفرنسي‪.‬‬
‫حتدث عن هذا اللقاء كارلوس إدواردو يف مقابلة مع (‪)maisfutebol‬‬
‫يقول ‪ ( :‬لقد كنت شديد الرتكيز وشعرت أني إن سددت من أي مكان‬
‫سأسجل ومل أحس مبا فعلت حتى إنتهت املباراة فتوقفت وسألت ماذا فعلت‬
‫للتو ‪ ,‬ورغم ذلك أضعت هدفني حمققني ) ويكمل ‪ ( :‬زمالئي مل يقولوا‬

‫شيء حتى وصلت إىل غرفة املالبس حينها بدؤوا بالصراخ وقام حبملي يف‬
‫اهلواء كان حفلة كبرية ‪ ,‬أعتقد أنه يف تاريخ الفريق مل يسجل سبعة‬
‫أهداف خارج أرضه على كل حال النتيجة كانت ملصلحة نيس )‪ .‬ولو كان‬
‫فعال قد سجل هدفني آخرين ألصبح األكثر تسجيال يف تاريخ الدوري‬
‫برفقة أندري أبيجلني (‪ )Andre Abegglen‬العب سوشو الفرنسي وأيضاً‬
‫جني نيكوالس (‪ )Jean Nicolas‬العب روين وهم العبني من الثالثينات‪.‬‬
‫يف مقابلة مع (‪ )lancenet‬ويف سؤال حول ضم الربازيلي لويس أدريانو‬
‫للمنتخب الربازيلي بعد تسجيله مخسة أهداف ‪ ,‬وهل يعتقد أن هذا سيجعله‬
‫ينضم أيضاً ويفكر باملنتخب ؟ حتدث إدواردو ‪ ( :‬هذا خمتلف متاماً ‪ ,‬هو‬
‫سجل مخسة أهداف يف دوري األبطال واألمر خيتلف متاماً ‪ ,‬بالتأكيد أريد‬
‫الوصول إىل هناك وسأسعى للوصول له ولكن من الصعب احلديث عن‬
‫ذلك فاألمر معقد جداً جيب أن أصل ألعلى املستويات أوال وأثبت نفسي)‪.‬‬

Carlos Eduardo de Oliveira Alves, born on the 17th of
October 1989 and known as Carlos Eduardo, is a
professional Brazilian midfielder and is currently playing
for Al Hilal Saudi Club.
Carlos Eduardo was born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo.
When he was 6 years old, his father took him to a small
school to play football on the sand. Then he started his
football career in three youth clubs, and he met Vinícius
Eutrópio who is considered the most important
character in Carlos's football career. In fact, Carlos
regards him as his father and thinks that his career

would not have taken that course without Vinicius's
help in his early youth.
At the beginning, Carlos started playing in Desportive
Brasil which lent him several times at the age of 18, and
it was there where he met Vinicius for the first time.
Vinicius trained him in Ituano, Fluminense and Gremio
Barueri which are all Brazilian clubs.
First, Carlos played 15 matches for Ituano in Paulistao
championship in 2009. He played 11 matches as a main
player, won five matches, lost 6 matches and drew in 4
matches with a total playing time of 771 minutes. He
did not score any goal and got 6 warnings / cards in his
first real season.

After he moved to Fluminense, he played 11 matches in
Brasileirao in 2009 and in Copa Sudamericana in 2009
with a total playing time of 558 minutes. He played 5

player in 21 matches in that season. He won 8 matches,
lost 13 matches and drew in 11 matches. He did not

cards and one red card in Serie A as a result of having
two yellow cards in a match in which his team was
bitterly beaten by Avai, a Brazilian team.
Vinícius Eutrópio talked about that period saying," I
trained Ituano and needed an additional player when
Carlos Eduardo came and stayed with the team as he
was the right player. I was sure of that when he played
in Estadio Morumbi field in Sao Paulo and showed all
his skills. A few months later, Carlos moved to
Fluminense and I also suggested him to them although
the team was full of stars such as Thiago Neves , Conca
and Fred. Despite Eduardo's young age, he moved to
the team and found his place there."

In fact, Carlos Eduardo did not leave any mark on
Brazilian football before he played in Europe because
he started playing for a small Brazilian club, Desportivo,
which is owned by an administrative company that sells
promising players. It is worth mentioning that this
company owns Portuguese Estoril Praia to which Carlos
moved later on. After that, Carlos moved to Portugal in
the winter of 2011 on a lending deal to G.D. Estoril
Praia which is a second division team in the Portuguese
tournament.
In the remainder of that season ( 2010 / 2011), Carlos
played 15 matches one of which was for the

won 6 matches, drew in 5, lost 4 matches and did not
score any goal in those matches. He got two yellow

The following season of 2011 / 2012 was the best
season for Carlos because it was the season in which his
team Estoril Praia won the Portuguese second-division
championship, and as a result the team qualified for the
Premier League. In that season, Carlos Eduardo played
33 matches in Prangina, Taca da Liga and Taca Portugal
with a total number of 1949 minutes. He played in 22
matches as a main player and he played in 11 matches
as a substitute/replacement player. He won 18
matches, drew in 8 matches and lost 7 matches. He
scored 4 goals one of which was against Belenenses.
Carlos Eduardo scored that goal in the last minute
when his team was losing and so that match ended in a
draw (2-2). By the way, Belenenses was the team that
won the Portuguese second-division championship in
the following season. Likewise, he scored the winning
goal which was the fourth goal against Olhanense in the

In the following season which was his first season in the
Portuguese Premier League, Carlos played 34 matches

The overall number of minutes he played was 2001
minutes. He played 21 matches as a main player, and
13 matches as a substitute player. He won 13 matches,
drew in 8 matches and lost 13 matches. He scored 4
goals, two of which were in a match against C.D.

Carlos's first match in the Portuguese Premier League
took place on the 17th of August 2012 when he entered
in the minute 60 as a substitute player outside his
team's home city. His team lost that match against
Olhanense 2 – 1. In that season, his team came in fifth
remarkably in the Portuguese League after they rose
from the second division teams, and a result, the team
qualified for the Europa League which was the first
participation of the Portuguese team.

Due to Carlos's remarkable performance in the last two
seasons, he moved to FC Porto in the summer of 2013.
FC Porto was the Champ of the League and the best
Portuguese team. Carlos was then 23 years old. Moving
to a big club like Porto was a big step. At the beginning,
Paulo Fonseca, Porto's coach, did not seem convinced
at the beginning, and he moved Carlos to the
alternative team and Carlos played in both teams as
Porto had two teams; the first one played in the
Portuguese Premier League and the other one played in
the second-division tournament.

When the coach gave him the opportunity to play with
the first team, Eduardo took good advantage of it
especially in the match against Olhanense which ended
in 4 – 0, and Eduardo scored a fabulous goal. Without
prior notice, everybody started calling him new Deco, a
player in the Portuguese team and the former team.
Similarly, lots of people liken Carlos Eduardo to the
famous Brazilian player, Socrates, the philosopher and
doctor, as both players play in the same manner and
elegance although Carlos is much shorter than Socrates
and he has not played in Corinthians. Eduardo
mentioned that in a former interview saying. " I cannot
be compared to them; Deco is a football legend
especially with Porto, and Socrates is far better than me
although he is from my city and I have always watched
his old matches."

matches, 30 of which he played as a main player and
scored 6 goals in them. The overall number of minutes
he played in these matches was 2543 minutes

Championship. He won 21 matches, drew in 9 and lost
10 matches. He got 7 yellow cards, two of which he got
in one match in the tournament cup and because of
that he was given a red card. The team left the
tournament cup after losing to Benfica, and the team
lost the match against Benfica in the Portuguese Cup in
the semi-final match in the penalty shootout. The team
also left the Eurpa League in the quarterfinal after it
lost to Seville although it won over Seville in Portugal
due to losing in Spain.
In the middle of the season, there were lots of
expectations of Eduardo, but the results of the team in
general were not satisfactory, and what made matters
worse was his serious injury, So, the team came in third
in the tournament, and the coach of the Portuguese
team, Fonseca, was sacked in March 2004 followed by
a careful examination of the whole team. As regards
the injury, Eduardo said," It has been a very difficult
year with lots of problems with the ankle and tendons,
and that ultimately affected me."

The new Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui was given the
authority to change the whole team, and Eduardo knew
that he did not have a big chance to play especially
that there were many midfield players such as Casimir,
Campana, Oliver, Evandro, Quintero, Brahimi, Reuben
Neves and Ocatvius and all these were competing over
few seats. So, his departure was inevitable.
In the summer of 2014 and in the last hours before the
transfer market was closed, it was announced that
Carlos was lent to OGC Nice which was in dire need of
a midfielder as Calude Puel, the coach training Nice
since 2012, was in need of him because he had asked
for him before he left for Porto and after he consulted

Costinha, a former player in Porto who played under
Monaco's leadership. Regarding that transfer, Carlos
Eduardo said, " I really wanted to come here because
the club would give me the opportunity to develop. So,
I came because I knew the team, and my friend
Adeilson who was with me in Flumenense played for
Nice and knew the club and city and told me a lot about
them. Indeed, the club is organized, and helps me to
develop and I know what I will really find here."
Eduardo's season with Nice ( 2014 / 2015 season) was
an important season in his career because he recovered
from his injury stronger than before and continued
playing with the team until he became one of the most
important players in it. Besides, his market value
became the highest value a player could reach since the
beginning of his professional career.
Eduardo played 30 matches in the French tournament,
29 of which he played as a main player and one match
as a substitute player with an overall number of 2331
minutes during which he scored 10 goals which was the
best scoring rate in his career. He got two yellow cards

and was expelled directly in a match with Saint-Etienne
which ended in a 0 - 0 draw.
The first goal Eduardo scored with the team was the
winning goal in the derby against AS Monaco FC in the
French tournament kick in September 2014 through a
clever free, and the match ended in 1 – 0 for his team.
The head of the French club stated, immediately after
the derby, " Lots of people criticized us when we signed
contracts with players in the last minutes of the
transfer market, but that was worth it especially in the
case of Eduardo."
In the French tournament and in October 2014 Eduardo
scored five goals against EA Guingamp in a match that
ended in 7 – 2 for Nice. Eduardo scored a hat-trick in
the first half only before he scored another two more
goals in the second half. In the minute 64 he was the
first player to score 5 goals in the French tournament
since 1984. It was also the first time a player from Nice
scored 5 goals after the French legend and Nice Just
Fontaine in 1954. It is worth mentioning that Eduardo
got a 10/10 evaluation from L'Equipe, a French
newspaper. It was the first time in which a player got

that evaluation in the French tournament in the history
of that newspaper. It is funny, though, that one should
go back in history for more than ten years to find a
player who scored a hat-trick, and that happened in
2004 when the Nigerian player Victor Agali scored a
hat-trick for the French team.
Carlos Eduardo talked about that match in an interview
with Maisfutebol saying, " I was so focused that I felt I
could score from anywhere I kicked the ball, and I
didn’t feel what I did until the match ended. Then, I
stopped and asked myself what I already did. Still, I
missed two goals." He continued, " My colleagues did
not say anything until we came to the locker room.
Then they started shouting and carried me up in the
air. It was a big party! I think that the team has not
scored 7 goals in its history outside its field and city.
Anyway, the result was to the advantage of Nice." If he
had scored two more goals, he would have been the
best goal scorer in the history of the French league
along with Andre Abegglen, a player in FC Sochaux and
Jean Nicolas, a player in FC Rouen; both players played
in the 1980s.

In an interview with Iancenet and in a question about
including the Brazilian player Luiz Adriano after he
scored 5 goals and if he thinks that will make him join
the team as well, Eduardo said, "This is completely
different. He scored 5 goals in the Champion League,
and this is entirely different. Sure I want to go there as
well, and I am working hard to go there, but it is
difficult to talk about that because it is very
complicated. I should achieve high levels of
performance first to prove myself."
A journalist in Nice talked about Vincent Menichini who
said, " Carlos is a tactical player, both elegant and
distinguished, and we were lucky to have him in the
French tournament. I see that he has the potential to
be in the best teams of the world."
For the bad luck of the French team, Eduardo's lending
contract prevented him from moving to the team after
the contract expired. So, it was obligatory that Eduardo
should go back to FC Porto in the summer. He deserved
to be called little Riquelme although he is Brazilian. It
was strange that a Brazilian player's best player is

continuously and tries to copy his free kicks. Eduardo
also dreamed of naming his first son after Riquelme,

Before the summer and in February 2015 and according
to Calciomercato, one of the most famous Italian news
websites, Inter Milan had been watching Carlos
Eduardo and was prepared to pay 7 million euros to
gain him especially after Nice offered 3 million euros to
get Eduardo after the expiry of his loaning contract, but
the Portuguese demanded 10 million euros to sell
Eduardo to any club. Prior to that and in December,
Eduardo got an offer from the Italian club, Fiorentina,
but Eduardo declined it personally as he wished to go
back to Porto according to the same website abovementioned.
In that summer, Carlos Eduardo moved to Al Hilal Saudi
Club to succeed his former colleague, Thiago Neves, to
Flumenense who was one of the most outstanding
professional footballers in the remarkable history of Al

Eduardo's beginning with Al Hilal was the most
attractive one which every player would dream of. The
first match was against the traditional opponent team,
Al Nasr, in the capital derby in the Saudi Super Cup
between the league champ and the King Cup champ
which London hosted. The match ended in 1 – 0 and
the goal was scored by Carlos Eduardo. Consequently,
the team, Al Hilal, won the Super Cup title in the
inaugural season and against its classic opponent. It is

the Asian quarter final first round in the east and west.

the Saudi league, the team was very close to falling in

This is the best start for Carlos Eduardo in his football

Quando Carlos Eduardo mudou-se para o Grêmio
Barueri, ele jogou 32 partidas pelo clube naquela
temporada, incluindo a Copa Sulamericana,
Campeonato Paulista e o Campeonato da Serie A. Ele
jogou por 1795 minutos nessas partidas. Começou
como titular em 21 partidas naquela temporada.
Venceu 8 partidas, perdeu 13 e empatou outras 11. Ele
não marcou nenhum gol nesses jogos e ganhou 6
cartões amarelos e um cartão vermelho na Série A,
depois de ter recebido dois cartões amarelos em uma
partida em que sua equipe sofreu uma derrota amarga
para o Avaí, um time brasileiro.
Vinícius Eutrópio comentou esse período dizendo "Eu
treinava o Ituano e precisava de outro jogador quando
Carlos Eduardo chegou, então ele permaneceu na
equipe pois era o jogador certo. Eu tive certeza disso
quando ele jogou no Estádio do Morumbi, em São
Paulo, e mostrou todas as suas habilidades. Poucos
meses depois, Carlos foi transferido para o Fluminense,
também por sugestão minha para eles, muito embora a
equipe estivesse repleta de estrelas como Thiago

Neves , Conca e Fred. Apesar da pouca idade, Eduardo
se mudou para a equipe e encontrou seu espaço".
Na verdade, Carlos Eduardo não deixou nenhuma
marca no futebol brasileiro antes de jogar na Europa,
pois ele começou a jogar em um clube brasileiro
pequeno, o Desportivo, que é propriedade de uma
empresa administrativa que vende jogadores
promissores. Vale ressaltar que esta empresa é
proprietária do clube português Estoril Praia, para o
qual Carlos foi transferido mais tarde. Depois disso,
Carlos mudou-se para Portugal no inverno de 2011
mediante um contrato de empréstimo para o G.D.
Estoril Praia, que é um time da segunda divisão do
campeonato Português.

No restante da temporada (2010/2011), Carlos jogou
15 partidas, uma delas pelo Campeonato Português,
com um tempo total de 706 minutos. Ele jogou como
titular em 6 jogos. Ele venceu 6 jogos, empatou 5,
perdeu 4 partidas e não marcou nenhum gol nesses
jogos. Ele teve dois cartões amarelos em um jogo e,
consequentemente, um cartão vermelho.
A temporada seguinte 2011/2012 foi a melhor
temporada para Carlos, pois foi a temporada em que a
sua equipe, o Estoril Praia, conquistou o campeonato
português da segunda divisão e, como resultado, se
classificou para a Premier League. Naquela temporada,
Carlos Eduardo jogou 33 partidas na Prangina, Taça da
Liga e Taça Portugal, com um tempo total de 1.949
minutos. Ele jogou 22 partidas como titular e 11
partidas como reserva. Ganhou 18 partidas, empatou 8
e perdeu 7 jogos disputados. Marcou 4 gols, um deles
contra o Belenenses. Carlos Eduardo marcou esse gol
no último minuto, quando sua equipe estava perdendo
e, assim, o jogo terminou empatado em 2x2. A

gol da vitória, que foi o quarto gol contra o Olhanense
no Campeonato Cup. Ele marcou esse gol aos 40
minutos do segundo tempo, terminando a partida em
4x3. Naquela temporada, Eduardo ganhou quatro
cartões amarelos e nenhum cartão vermelho.
Na temporada seguinte, que foi a sua primeira
temporada na Premier League portuguesa, Carlos jogou
34 partidas na Liga ZON Sgres, Taça Portugal e League
Cup. Ele jogou um total de 2001 minutos. Jogou 21
partidas como titular e 13 partidas como reserva. Ele
ganhou 13 partidas, empatou 8 e perdeu 13 jogos
disputados. Marcou 4 gols, dois dos quais em uma
partida contra o C.D. Nacional, que o Estoril Praia
venceu por 4x0.
O primeiro jogo de Carlos na Premier League
portuguesa ocorreu em 17 de agosto de 2012, quando
ele entrou aos 15 minutos do segundo tempo como
reserva em um jogo fora de casa. Sua equipe perdeu
aquele jogo contra o Olhanense por 2x1. Naquela
temporada, sua equipe terminou notavelmente em
quinto lugar no Campeonato Português depois de ter

subido da segunda divisão e, como consequência, a
equipe se classificou para a Liga da Europa, na primeira
participação da equipe portuguesa.
Devido ao notável desempenho de Carlos nas duas
últimas temporadas, ele foi transferido para o FC Porto
no verão de 2013. O FC Porto foi o campeão da Liga e a
melhor equipe portuguesa. Carlos tinha 23 anos de
idade na época. A transferência para um grande clube
como o Porto foi um grande passo. No início, Paulo
Fonseca, treinador do Porto, não parecia convencido e
acabou mudando Carlos para a equipe B, sendo que
Carlos jogou nas duas equipes do Porto. A equipe A
jogava na Premier League portuguesa e a B jogava no
torneio da segunda divisão.

Quando o treinador deu a ele a oportunidade de jogar
na equipe A, Eduardo aproveitou, especialmente na
partida contra o Olhanense que terminou em 4x0, com
Eduardo marcando um gol fabuloso. De forma
surpreendente, todos começaram a chamá-lo de novo
Deco, um jogador da seleção portuguesa e antigo
jogador da equipe. Da mesma forma, muitas pessoas
comparam Carlos Eduardo ao famoso jogador brasileiro
Sócrates, filósofo e médico, pois os dois jogam com a
mesma forma e elegância, embora Carlos tenha
estatura bem menor do que Sócrates e não jogou no
Corinthians. Eduardo mencionou isso em uma
entrevista no passado dizendo: "Eu não posso ser
comparado a eles. Deco é uma lenda do futebol,
especialmente no Porto, e Sócrates é muito melhor do
que eu, embora ele seja da minha cidade e eu sempre
assistia aos seus jogos antigamente".
Carlos Eduardo jogou 40 partidas em sua primeira
temporada no Porto, 30 delas como titular, e marcou 6
gols. Ele jogou um total de 2.543 minutos nesses jogos,
distribuídos entre a Premier League portuguesa, o
torneio português da segunda divisão, a Copa

Portuguesa, o torneio Cup e o Campeonato da Liga da
Europa. Ganhou 21 partidas, empatou 9 e perdeu 10.
Ele levou 7 cartões amarelos, dois deles em um jogo no
torneio Cup e, consequentemente, recebeu um cartão
vermelho. A equipe ficou fora do torneio Cup depois
de perder para o Benfica, e a equipe perdeu o jogo na
semifinal da Copa Portuguesa contra o Benfica, na
disputa de pênaltis. A equipe também saiu da Liga da
Europa nas quartas de final depois de perder para o
Sevilha, muito embora tenha derrotado o Sevilha em
Portugal, depois de perder na Espanha.
No meio da temporada havia muitas expectativas sobre
Eduardo, mas os resultados da equipe, em geral, não
foram satisfatórios. O que tornou as coisas ainda piores
foi sua grave lesão. Assim, a equipe ficou em terceiro
lugar no torneio e o treinador da equipe portuguesa,
Fonseca, foi demitido em março de 2004, seguido de
uma avaliação cuidadosa de toda a equipe. Quanto à
lesão, Eduardo disse: "Tem sido um ano muito difícil,
com muitos problemas com o tornozelo e os tendões, e
isto definitivamente me afetou".

O novo treinador espanhol, Julen Lopetegui, recebeu
carta branca para mudar toda a equipe, e Eduardo
sabia que não tinha muitas chances de jogar,
especialmente porque havia muitos jogadores de meiocampo, como Casimir, Campana, Oliver, Evandro,
Quintero, Brahimi, Rúben Neves e Ocatvius, e todos
estavam competindo por poucas posições. Assim, sua
saída foi inevitável.
No verão de 2014, nas últimas horas antes da janela de
transferências fechar, anunciaram que Carlos foi
emprestado ao OGC Nice, que estava com extrema
necessidade de um meio-campista, pois Calude Puel,
treinador do Nice desde 2012, tinha necessidade dele.

Puel havia pedido por ele antes de sua saída do Porto e
depois de ter consultado Costinha, um ex-jogador no
Porto que jogou na liderança do Mônaco. Em relação a
essa transferência, Carlos Eduardo disse: "Eu realmente
queria vir para cá pois o clube me daria a oportunidade
de desenvolver. Então, eu vim porque conhecia a
equipe, e meu amigo Adeilson, que estava comigo no
Fluminense, jogou no Nice e conhecia o clube e a
cidade e me falou muito bem deles. Na verdade, o
clube é organizado e me ajuda a desenvolver, e eu sei o
que realmente vou encontrar aqui".
A temporada de Eduardo no Nice, (temporada
2014/2015) foi um período importante da sua carreira,
pois ele se recuperou de sua lesão mais forte do que
antes e continuou jogando com a equipe até que se
tornou um de seus jogadores mais importantes. Além
disso, seu valor de mercado chegou ao maior valor que
um jogador poderia atingir desde o início de sua
carreira profissional.
Eduardo jogou 30 partidas no torneio francês, 29 delas
como titular e um jogo como reserva, com um total de
2.331 minutos, durante os quais ele marcou 10 gols,

sendo o melhor índice de gols de sua carreira. Ele teve
dois cartões amarelos e foi expulso direto em uma
partida contra o Saint-Etienne, que terminou em 0x0.
O primeiro gol marcado por Eduardo pela equipe foi o
gol da vitória no clássico contra o AS Monaco FC no
torneio francês em setembro de 2014, com um
inteligente tiro livre direto, e o jogo terminou em 1x0
para a sua equipe. O diretor do clube francês afirmou,
imediatamente após o derby: "Muita gente nos criticou
quando assinamos contratos com jogadores nos
últimos minutos do fechamento do mercado de
transferências, mas valeu a pena, especialmente no
caso de Eduardo".
No torneio francês e em outubro de 2014, Eduardo
marcou cinco gols contra o EA Guingamp em uma
partida que terminou em 7x2 para o Nice. Eduardo fez
três gols no adversário no primeiro tempo ("hat-trick")
antes de marcar mais dois gols no segundo tempo. Aos
19 minutos do segundo tempo, ele foi o primeiro
jogador a marcar 5 gols no torneio francês desde 1984.

Fontaine, em 1954. Vale ressaltar que Eduardo teve
uma avaliação nota 10 do L'Equipe, um jornal francês.
Foi a primeira vez que um jogador teve essa avaliação
no torneio francês na história do jornal. O engraçado é
que devemos voltar mais de dez anos na história para
encontrar um jogador que conseguiu um "hat-trick", o
que aconteceu em 2004, quando o jogador nigeriano
Victor Agali marcou três gols para a equipe francesa.
Carlos Eduardo falou sobre a partida em entrevista ao
Maisfutebol dizendo: "Eu estava tão concentrado que
senti que poderia marcar de qualquer lugar que eu
chutasse a bola, e eu não percebi o que fiz até que a
partida terminasse. Então, eu parei e me perguntei o
que eu já tinha feito. Mesmo assim, eu perdi dois gols".
Ele continuou: "Os meus colegas não disseram nada até
entrarmos no vestiário. Depois, eles começaram a gritar
e me carregaram. Foi uma grande festa! Eu acho que a
equipe nunca marcou 7 gols em sua história fora de
casa. De qualquer forma, o resultado foi a favor do
Nice". Se ele tivesse marcado mais dois gols, teria sido
o melhor goleador da história da liga francesa,

jogaram na década de 1980.
Em uma entrevista ao Lancenet, em uma pergunta
sobre incluir o jogador brasileiro Luiz Adriano após ele
ter marcado 5 gols, e se ele achava que isto também
faria ele se juntar à equipe, Eduardo disse: "É
completamente diferente. Ele marcou 5 gols na Liga
dos Campeões, e isso é completamente diferente. Claro
que eu quero ir para lá também, e eu estou
trabalhando duro para isso, mas é difícil falar sobre isso
porque é muito complicado. Eu deveria alcançar
primeiro altos níveis de desempenho para provar a mim
mesmo".
Um jornalista em Nice falou sobre Vincent Menichini,
que disse: "Carlos é um jogador tático, elegante e
notável, e tivemos a sorte de tê-lo no torneio francês.
Eu vejo que ele tem potencial para estar nos melhores
times do mundo".
Para o azar da equipe francesa, o término do contrato
de empréstimo de Eduardo o impediu de ser
transferido para a equipe. Assim, Eduardo foi obrigado

a retornar para o FC Porto no verão. Ele merecia ser
chamado de pequeno Riquelme, embora seja brasileiro.
Era estranho que o melhor jogador na opinião de um
brasileiro fosse um argentino a quem ele assistia
constantemente. O melhor jogador na opinião de
Eduardo é Juan Roman Riquelme, a quem ele assiste
continuamente e tenta copiar seus tiros livres. Eduardo
também sonhava em chamar o seu primeiro filho de
Riquelme, mas sua primogênita foi uma menina, a
quem deu o nome de Isabella.
Antes do verão, em fevereiro de 2015 e de acordo com
o Calciomercato, um dos mais famosos sites de notícias
italiano, a Inter de Milão estava observando Carlos
Eduardo e estava preparada para pagar 7 milhões de
euros para consegui-lo, especialmente depois do Nice
ter oferecido 3 milhões de euros para ter Eduardo
depois do término do seu contrato de empréstimo, mas
os portugueses queriam 10 milhões de euros para
vender Eduardo para outro clube. Antes disso, em
dezembro, Eduardo recebeu uma oferta do clube
italiano Fiorentina, mas a recusou pessoalmente pois

Naquele verão, Carlos Eduardo foi transferido para o Al
Hilal Saudi Club como sucessor do seu ex-colega, Thiago
Neves, que tinha ido para o Fluminense e foi um dos
jogadores profissionais de maior destaque da história
notável do Al Hilal. Assim, ele passou a integrar uma
equipe que contava com outros dois jogadores
brasileiros, Ailton Almeida e Rodrigo Silva Digão.
O início de Eduardo no Al Hilal foi o mais cativante que
um jogador poderia sonhar. O primeiro jogo foi contra
a tradicional equipe adversária do Al Nasr, no derby da
capital na Supercopa da Arábia Saudita, entre o

em Londres. A partida terminou em 1x0 e o gol foi
marcado por Carlos Eduardo. Consequentemente, a
equipe do Al Hilal conquistou o título da Supercopa na
temporada inaugural contra o seu clássico adversário. É
o melhor início de todos os tempos! Na primeira
partida continental e no seu terceiro jogo contra a
equipe azul do Al Nasr, Eduardo conquistou os corações
dos fãs quando marcou dois gols em uma partida
importante na carreira do Al Hilal, quando o time bateu
o Lekhwiya, uma equipe do Catar, nas quartas de final,
terminando em 4x1 para o Al Hilal. Após a partida,
Eduardo ganhou o prêmio de melhor jogador da
partida. Poucos dias depois, a Confederação Asiática de
Futebol anunciou que Eduardo era o jogador da
primeira rodada das quartas de final asiática no leste e
oeste. No jogo seguinte da liga saudita, a equipe ficou
muito perto de cair na armadilha de um empate
quando Eduardo brilhou e marcou um gol no final da
partida, garantindo a vitória para o time por 2x1.
