Liebe Fußballfreunde,
die Bundesliga boomt weiter: neue Rekorde bei Umsätzen und Zuschauerzahlen,
weltweite TV-Beachtung, toller Fußball
und Spannung bis zum letzten Spieltag!
Insbesondere das Herzschlagfinale um die
Deutsche Meisterschaft hat die Fans zuletzt
in Atem gehalten. Am Ende hatte der VfL
Wolfsburg verdient die Nase vorn, weshalb
ich den „Wölfen“ auch von dieser Stelle
ganz herzlich zum Titelgewinn gratuliere.
Ebenso beglückwünsche ich natürlich Werder Bremen zum DFB-Pokalsieg.
Doch nicht nur die erfolgreichsten Teams der
abgelaufenen Saison sollen hier erwähnt
werden, sondern auch die herausragenden
Spieler; allen voran Grafite, der bei unserer
einzigartigen Wahl zum VDV-Spieler der
Saison mit 35,7 Prozent der abgegebenen
Stimmen von den Profis nach ganz oben
auf das Siegerpodest gehievt wurde. Auf
den Plätzen zwei und drei folgten Zvjezdan Misimovic und Diego. Ihnen gebührt
ebenso Beifall wie den übrigen Mitgliedern
der erstmals gewählten VDV 11, die wir in
dieser Sonderausgabe vorstellen.
Die Tatsache, dass sieben Top-Profis mit
ausländischem Pass in die VDV 11 gewählt wurden, verdeutlicht den internationalen Stellenwert der Bundesliga als

la Bundesliga poursuit son ascension : de
nouveaux chiffres d’affaires records, les
nombres de spectateurs en augmentation,
une couverture télévisée dans le monde entier, du football d’excellente qualité, sans
parler du suspense ! La finale du Championnat d’Allemagne, en particulier, a tenu en
haleine les supporters jusqu’à la dernière
minute. En fin de match, c’est le VfL Wolfsburg qui menait incontestablement le jeu,
et j’adresse ici personnellement mes plus
sincères félicitations aux « Loups » pour
cette victoire méritée. J’en profite pour féliciter aussi le Werder Bremen, pour leur victoire en finale de la Coupe d’Allemagne.
Mais ce ne sont pas seulement les équipes gagnantes de la saison passée qui
doivent recevoir les honneurs : les joueurs
d’exception ne sont pas en reste non plus
; et parmi eux, Grafite avant tout, qui a été
élu joueur VDV de la saison par les footballeurs professionnels, se hissant ainsi sur la
plus haute place du podium en obtenant
35,7 % des voix. Les deuxième et troisième
places sont occupées respectivement par
Zvjezdan Misimovic et par Diego. Ils méritent nos applaudissements, tout comme
les membres de l’équipe VDV 11, élus pour
la première fois cette année et que nous
présentons dans cette édition spéciale.

Anziehungspunkt für Auswahlspieler aus
großen Fußballnationen. Doch um sich als
ausländischer Spitzenspieler in Deutschland durchsetzen zu können, bedarf es
neben der spielerischen Klasse auch eines
hervorragenden Umfeldes, in dem sich ein
Profi wohlfühlen kann. Ein derartiges Umfeld schafft unter anderem die VDV, die als
Spielergewerkschaft seit über 20 Jahren die
Interessen der Spieler vertritt und mit ihrem
umfangreichen Serviceangebot die Profis –
und insbesondere auch ausländische Spieler während der Eingewöhnungsphase –
unterstützt. Daher freue
mich schon jetzt darauf,
auch in diesem Jahr die
zahlreichen Debütanten
auf der großen deutschen
Fußballbühne schon bald
als neue Mitglieder bei
der VDV begrüßen zu
dürfen.
Zudem wünsche ich
allen Spielern, Trainern
und Funktionären für die
neue Spielzeit alles Gute

La présence, parmi le « onze » du VDV, de
sept professionnels de haut niveau détenteurs d’un passeport étranger souligne le
caractère international de la Bundesliga,
qui est un pôle d’attraction pour des joueurs choisis parmi les grandes nations du
football. Toutefois, pour pouvoir s’affirmer
en Allemagne en tant que joueur étranger
de haut niveau, être un footballeur de talent ne suffit pas : un professionnel doit
aussi pouvoir se sentir parfaitement à l’aise
dans son environnement. Le VDV contribue
à la mise en place d’un tel environnement :
le syndicat représente les intérêts des joueurs professionnels depuis plus de vingt
ans, et met à leur disposition une offre de
services étendue. Les joueurs étrangers
peuvent compter sur nous pendant la phase d’acclimatation, en particulier. Je me
réjouis donc particulièrement de pouvoir
souhaiter prochainement la bienvenue aux
nombreux joueurs débutant sur la scène
du football allemand, et de les accueillir
comme nouveaux membres du VDV.
Il me reste à souhaiter à tous – joueurs,
entraîneurs et personnel des clubs – une
excellente saison !

Dear friends of football,
the Bundesliga continues to boom: new records in sales and viewing rates, worldwide
TV coverage, great football and suspense
up to the last match day! Especially the
heart-stopping finish of the German Championship fascinated the fans until the end.
VfL Wolfsburg finally came first, which is
why I would now like to congratulate the
“wolves” on winning the title. I would also
like to compliment Werder Bremen on winning the DFB cup.
Not only the most successful teams of the past
season shall be mentioned here, but also the
outstanding players;
above all, Grafite who
was elected to the top of
the podium in our unique
vote of the VDV player
of the season with 35.7
percent of the votes cast.

is due to them as well as
to the other members of
the VDV 11 elected for
the first time, who we are introducing in
this special edition.

A Bundesliga continua em ascensão: novos recordes nos volumes de vendas e no
número de espectadores, presença televisiva a nível mundial, excelente futebol
e suspense até ao último dia da época!
Especialmente a final não aconselhável a
cardíacos do Campeonato Alemão manteve
os adeptos até ao fim com a respiração suspensa. No fim, o VfL Wolfsburg ficou muito
merecidamente à frente, pelo que dou aos
“Lobos”, a partir daqui, os meus sinceros
parabéns pelo título. Do mesmo modo, dou
igualmente os meus parabéns ao Werder
Bremen pela vitória na Taça da DFB.
Mas não devem ser mencionadas aqui
apenas as equipas mais bem sucedidas
da época passada, os jogadores mais
proeminentes também merecem sê-lo; na
vanguarda, Grafite, que na nossa eleição
sui generis para jogador VDV da época, foi
elevado pelos profissionais para o pódio
do vencedor, recolhendo 35,7 % dos votos.
Nos segundo e terceiro lugares seguiramse Zvjezdan Misimovic e Diego. A eles também são devidos aplausos tal como aos
restantes membros do “11 da VDV”, eleito
pela primeira vez, que apresentamos nesta
edição especial.
The fact that seven top professionals with
a foreign passport were voted into the
VDV 11 clarifies the international significance of the Bundesliga as the centre of
attraction for representative players from
great football nations. However to be able to establish themselves as foreign top
players in Germany, apart from playing excellence, outstanding surroundings, which
a top athlete can feel comfortable in, are
also necessary. Among others, such an environment is provided by the VDV which
has represented the players’ interests as a
players’ association for more than 20 years
and supports the professionals – especially
the foreign players during their adaptation
phase – with their extensive service offer.
Therefore, I am already looking forward to
be able to welcome the numerous debutants as new members of the VDV on the
great stage of German football.
I also wish all players, trainers and officials
all the best and much success for the new
season.

O facto de sete profissionais de topo com
passaporte estrangeiro terem sido eleitos
para o “11 da VDV”, faz sobressair o valor
internacional da Bundesliga como ponto
de atracção para jogadores de selecção das
grandes nações futebolísticas. No entanto,
para conseguir vencer como jogador de
ponta estrangeiro na Alemanha, para além
da classe desportiva também é necessário
um ambiente excelente onde um profissional se pode sentir bem. Um ambiente assim
cria-o, entre outros, a VDV, que, como sindicato dos jogadores, representa há mais
de 20 anos os seus interesses, apoiando
os profissionais com a sua ampla oferta de
serviços, e, de modo especial, os jogadores
estrangeiros durante a fase de adaptação.
Por este motivo, é com enorme agrado que
me permito saudar, também neste ano, os
inúmeros debutantes no grande palco do
futebol alemão como novos membros da
VDV.
Desejo ainda a todos os jogadores, treinadores e funcionários tudo de bom e muito
sucesso para a nova época.

Afrikaners auf die
Weltmeisterschaft
Bradley Carnell wechselte 1998 im Alter
von 21 Jahren aus Johannesburg nach
Stuttgart in die Bundesliga. 2003 zog er
weiter nach Mönchengladbach und ging
2004 nach Karlsruhe. In dieser Saison
will er nun mit Hansa Rostock für Furore sorgen und beim WM-Turnier in seiner
Heimat für positive Schlagzeilen sorgen.
„Wir Profis“ sprach mit dem südafrikanischen Nationalspieler über die Weltmeisterschaft, die VDV und über sein Leben in Deutschland.
The white African’s anticipation
of the World Championship
In 1998 Bradley Carnell changed to the
Bundesliga from Johannesburg to Stuttgart at the age of 21. In 2003 he moved
on to Mönchengladbach and in 2004 he
went to Karlsruhe. This season he now
wants to create a furore with Hansa
Rostock and assure a supply of positive
headlines during the World Cup in his
home country. “Wir Profis” spoke to the
South African national team player about
the World Cup, the VDV and about his life
in Germany.
Wir Profis: Bradley, seit über zehn
Jahren spielst du mittlerweile ohne Unterbrechung im deutschen Profifußball.
Wie fühlst du dich in deiner zweiten
Heimat?
ganz große Sache. Es wird zwar nicht
leicht, alles perfekt zu organisieren,
aber ich bin guten Mutes, dass wir es
mit der entsprechenden Unterstützung
schaffen werden.
Wir Profis: Bradley, for more than ten
years you have now been playing in
German professional football without
interruption. How do you feel in your
second home?
Bradley Carnell: Sehr gut! Das ist
auch der Grund, warum ich schon so
lange hier lebe. Ich habe in Deutschland sogar eine Familie gegründet.
Wir Profis: Sportlich blieb Südafrikas
Nationalmannschaft zuletzt hinter den
hohen Erwartungen zurück. Was werdet ihr bei der WM erreichen können?
Bradley Carnell: Very good! This is the
reason why I have been living here for
that long. I even founded a family in
Germany.
Wir Profis: Im Alter von 21 Jahren
hast du allein den Schritt aus Südafrika
nach Deutschland gewagt. Wie bist du
anfangs hier zurechtgekommen?
Bradley Carnell: Ich hoffe, dass mit
unserem neuen Trainer Joel Santana
zunächst Ruhe einkehrt und sich die
Mannschaft dann positiv entwickelt.
Dass wir Fußballspielen können, haben
wir zuletzt bei der WM 2002 bewiesen, als wir in der Gruppenphase vier
Punkte holten und nur aufgrund des
schlechteren Torverhältnisses gegenüber Paraguay vorzeitig die Heimreise
antreten mussten.
Wir Profis: At the age of 21 you dared
the step from South Africa to Germany
alone. How did you get along here in
the beginning?
Bradley Carnell: Im Gegensatz zu
vielen anderen ausländischen Spielern
war die Eingewöhnung für mich superleicht, da ich in Stuttgart mit Dirk Duffner einen tollen Ansprechpartner hatte
und ebenfalls von der Mannschaft sehr
gut aufgenommen wurde.
Allerdings musst du dich als Ausländer
am Anfang richtig reinhängen, um keine Probleme zu bekommen: Papierkram
erledigen, Sprache lernen und auf dem
Platz alles geben!
Wir Profis: Was trennt und eint
Deutschland und Südafrika?
Bradley Carnell: In Deutschland geht
es sehr bürokratisch zu. Die Südafrikaner sind viel lockerer. Positiv finde ich,
dass mittlerweile viele Deutsche in
Südafrika Urlaub machen – und umgekehrt.
Wir Profis: Bereits im kommenden Juni
wird in Südafrika die WM angepfiffen.
Was bedeutet dieses Megaevent für
dein Land?
Bradley Carnell: Die WM ist natürlich
für das Land und den Kontinent eine

Wir Profis: Was erhoffst du dir persönlich von dieser Saison?
Bradley Carnell: Nachdem ich leider
verletzungsbedingt den Konföderationen-Pokal verpasst habe, möchte ich
2010 natürlich bei der WM dabei sein
und dort eine gute Rolle spielen. Zudem will ich mit Rostock in der 2. Bundesliga angreifen und mit dem Team
möglichst weit nach oben kommen.
Wir Profis: Du bist seit vielen Jahren
Mitglied der VDV. Warum ist es so wichtig, der Spielergewerkschaft anzugehören?
Bradley Carnell: Weil die VDV die Interessen der Spieler vertritt und guten
Service anbietet. Gerade bei der Integration von ausländischen Profis macht
die Spielergewerkschaft einen tollen
Job.
Bradley Carnell: Compared to many
other foreign players, familiarisation
was very easy for me, since I found a
great contact person in Dirk Duffner in
Stuttgart and I was also well accepted
by the team. However, as a foreigner
you have to really throw yourself into
it at the beginning, in order not to have
any problems: dealing with paperwork,
learning the language and giving all on
the pitch!
Wir Profis: What separates and what
unites Germany and South Africa?
Bradley Carnell: In Germany things
are very bureaucratic. South Africans
are much more informal. I think it is
a positive aspect that many Germans
now spend their holidays in South Africa – and vice versa.
Wir Profis: The World Cup kick-off in
South Africa is already in next June.
What does this mega event represent
to your country?
Bradley Carnell: Of course, the World
Cup is a great event for the country and
the continent. Although it is not getting
easier to organise everything perfectly,
I am convinced that we will manage
with the respective support.
Wir Profis: Lastly, the South African
national team stayed behind the high
expectations in terms of sports. What
will you be able to achieve during the
World Cup?
Bradley Carnell: I hope that with our
new trainer Joel Santana it will become
calmer and the team will then develop in a positive way. We were able to
prove that we can play football during
the World Cup 2002 when we achieved
four points in the group phase and only
had to return home prematurely due to
the weaker goal difference in comparison with Paraguay.
Wir Profis: What do you personally
hope for this season?
Bradley Carnell: After I had unfortunately missed the Confederation Cup
due to an injury, I self-evidently wish
to participate in the World Cup in 2010
and to play a good part there. I also
want to attack the 2nd Bundesliga with
Rostock and advance as much as possible with the team.
Wir Profis: You have been a member
of the VDV for many years. Why is it
this important to be a member of the
players’ association?
Bradley Carnell: Because the VDV
represents the players’ interests and
provides a good service. Especially with
respect to the integration of foreign
players, the association does a great
job.

Bradley Carnell a quitté Johannesburg

a l’intention de faire fureur, et il est bien
décidé à faire la une des journaux dans
son pays pendant la Coupe du monde.
« Wir Profis » s’est entretenu avec
l’international sud-africain au sujet de la
Coupe du monde, du VDV et de sa vie en
Allemagne.
Wir Profis : Bradley, cela fait maintenant dix années que tu joues sur
la scène professionnelle du football
allemand. Tu te plais dans ta seconde
patrie ?
Bradley Carnell : Oui, l’Allemagne me
plaît beaucoup ! Sinon, je ne serais pas
resté ici aussi longtemps… J’ai même
fondé une famille dans ce pays.
Wir Profis : Tu as quitté l’Afrique du
Sud pour l’Allemagne à l’âge de vingt
et un ans. Comment est-ce que c’était,
au début ?
Bradley Carnell : Pour beaucoup de
joueurs étrangers, l’acclimatation est
difficile, mais pour moi, ça a été sans
problème : à Stuttgart, Dirk Duffner
m’a beaucoup soutenu, et les autres
joueurs de l’équipe m’ont tout de suite
accepté.
C’est vrai que quand on est étranger,
les premiers temps, il faut se donner du
mal pour que tout se passe bien : régler
les affaires administratives, apprendre
la langue, se donner à fond sur le terrain…
Wir Profis : Quelles sont les différences avec l’Afrique du Sud ? Il y a des
similitudes entre les deux pays ?
Bradley Carnell : L’Allemagne est un
pays très bureaucratique. En Afrique
du Sud, on est plus décontracté. Une
chose positive, c’est qu’il y a beaucoup d’Allemands qui passent leurs vacances en Afrique du Sud, aujourd’hui
– et même le contraire.
Wir Profis : Le coup d’envoi de la
Coupe du monde sera sifflé en juin de
l’année prochaine – c’est bientôt. Alors,
un événement historique pour l’Afrique
du Sud ?
Bradley Carnell : C’est sûr, la Coupe
du monde, c’est très important pour
le pays, et même pour le continent. Il
va être difficile de tout organiser à la
perfection, mais je suis confiant, avec le
soutien nécessaire, on va y arriver.
Wir Profis : Sur le plan de la performance, l’équipe nationale d’Afrique du
Sud a un peu déçu ces derniers temps.
Quelles sont vos perspectives pour la
Coupe du monde ?
Bradley Carnell : J’espère qu’avec
le nouvel entraîneur, Joel Santana, le
calme va revenir et que l’équipe va
prendre un bon départ. Nous avons
déjà prouvé qu’on savait jouer au football pendant la Coupe du monde 2002
: pendant le premier tour, nous avons
obtenu quatre points, et c’est seulement le rapport de buts défavorables
contre le Paraguay qui nous a forcés à
plier bagages.
Wir Profis : Qu’est-ce que tu attends
de la saison prochaine, à titre personnel ?
Bradley Carnell : Je n’ai pas pu participer à la Coupe des Confédérations
à cause d’une blessure, malheureusement, mais j’espère pouvoir jouer pendant la Coupe du monde, et faire des
bons matchs. Je veux aussi faire une
bonne saison en 2e Bundesliga avec
Rostock, et aller aussi loin que possible
avec l’équipe.
Bradley Carnell : Tu es membre du
VDV depuis de nombreuses années.
Pourquoi penses-tu qu’il est important
d’appartenir au syndicat des joueurs ?
Bradley Carnell : Tout simplement
parce que le VDV représente les intérêts
des joueurs et leur propose un très bon
service. Le syndicat fait un excellent
travail en ce qui concerne l’intégration
des joueurs étrangers, en particulier.

Nesta época pretende fazer furor com
o Hansa Rostock e ser o motivo para
títulos de imprensa positivos durante o
Campeonato do Mundo no seu país natal. “Wir Profis” falou com o jogador da
selecção nacional da África do Sul sobre
o Campeonato do Mundo, a VDV e a sua
vida na Alemanha.
Wir Profis: Bradley, já há mais de dez
anos que jogas sem interrupção no
futebol profissional alemão. Como te
sentes nesta tua segunda pátria?
Bradley Carnell: Sinto-me muito bem!
É por causa disso mesmo que já cá estou há tanto tempo. Até constitui uma
família na Alemanha!
Wir Profis: Com 21 anos, arriscaste
sozinho o passo de vir da África do Sul
para a Alemanha. Como foram os primeiros tempos aqui?
Bradley Carnell: Para mim, a adaptação foi facílima, ao contrário do que
sucedeu com muitos outros jogadores
estrangeiros, visto que tinha em Dirk
Duffner um excelente interlocutor
quando estive em Estugarda e porque
também fui muito bem aceite pela
equipa.
No entanto, no início, como estrangeiro, tens de dar mesmo tudo por tudo
para não arranjar problemas: tratar da
papelada, aprender a língua e dar o
litro no relvado!
Wir Profis: O que é que diferencia a
Alemanha da África do Sul e em que é
que se assemelham?
Bradley Carnell: Na Alemanha, as
pessoas são muito burocráticas. Os
sul-africanos são muito mais descontraídos. O que acho positivo é que, entretanto, muitos alemães vão passar as
férias à África do Sul – e vice-versa.
Wir Profis: É já em Junho do próximo
ano que, na África do Sul, vai ser dado
o apito inicial do Mundial. O que significa este mega evento para o teu país?
Bradley Carnell: O Mundial é, obviamente, um acontecimento extremamente importante para o país e para
o continente. Não será porém fácil or-
ganizar tudo na perfeição. Mas pareceme que, com o apoio correspondente, o
vamos conseguir.
Wir Profis: Ultimamente, a selecção
nacional da África do Sul ficou, em termos desportivos, aquém das enormes
expectativas. O que é que vão poder
alcançar no Mundial?
Bradley Carnell: Espero que no início, com o nosso novo treinador Joel
Santana as coisas se acalmem e que,
em consequência disso, a equipa se
desenvolva de forma positiva. Que
sabemos jogar futebol provámo-lo ultimamente no Mundial de 2002, quando
fomos buscar quatro pontos na fase de
grupos e só foi devido à pior relação
de golos em relação ao Paraguai que
tivemos de iniciar a viagem de regresso
mais cedo.
Wir Profis: Pessoalmente, o que esperas para ti desta época?
Bradley Carnell: Depois de, lamentavelmente, ter perdido a possibilidade
de jogar para a Taça das Confederações
devido a uma lesão, quero obviamente
participar no Mundial em 2010 e ter

Zur neuen Saison hat das International Football Association
Board (IFAB) wieder einige Fußballregeln geändert. Dem Gremium gehören traditionell vier Vertreter der FIFA sowie jeweils
ein Vertreter der nationalen Verbände aus England, Schottland,
Wales und Nordirland an.
So darf ab jetzt ein Offizieller jeder Mannschaft – wenn er sich
„angemessen“ verhält – während eines laufenden Spiels dauerhaft in der technischen Zone verbleiben. Bisher mussten sich
die Trainer nach kurzen taktischen Anweisungen sofort wieder
auf die Bank setzen.

The International Football Association Board (IFAB) has once
more changed some football rules for the new season. Traditionally, four FIFA representatives as well as one representative
of the national associations of England, Scotland, Wales and
Northern Ireland belong to the committee.
As from now, an official of each team may permanently remain
in the technical zone during a running game - if he behaves in
an “adequate” way. Until now, the trainers had to return to the
bank after short tactical instructions.
It was also clarified that players of a defending team, who leave
the pitch without the referee’s permission, are treated as if they
were situated on their own outer goal line or touch line until
the next interruption of the game, with respect to the offside
rule.
Furthermore, the experimenting phase with two additional referee assistants is continued. After first experiences could also
be gained in the junior players’ area, referee teams are now
also supposed to be tested with altogether four assistants behind the outer goal and touch lines in a professional league.
It is furthermore still being discussed in the responsible expert
committee whether the admissible number of substitutions is
to be augmented in the case of overtime.
The suggestion of extending the duration of the half-time break
has however been withdrawn. The proposition of introducing
penalty benches in football was also declined.

Assim, a partir de agora, um membro oficial de cada equipa
poderá – se se comportar “adequadamente” – permanecer por
tempo indeterminado na área técnica durante o decorrer de
um jogo. Até agora, os treinadores tinham de se sentar imediatamente no banco após breves instruções tácticas.
Também foi clarificado que jogadores defensores, que saiam

na linha de golo ou linha de fundo do campo até à próxima

pretende-se agora também testar na liga profissional equipas
de árbitros com um total de quatro assistentes por trás das linhas de golo e linhas de fundo do campo.
Nos grémios técnicos ainda continua a ser discutido se o número de substituições permitidas deverá ser aumentado caso seja
necessário recorrer a um prolongamento.
Foi porém retirada a proposta para prolongar o período do intervalo. Também foi rejeitado o pedido de introduzir bancos de
castigo no futebol.

und steigerten somit den Erlös
um 10,7 Prozent gegenüber dem

Legal counselling

The VDV offers its members an extensive service in the legal field. In
the case of regularly occurring problems such as suspension, salary
cuts or contractual penalties, the initial consultation with a lawyer is free
of charge. The legal department of
the players’ association additionally
checks employment contracts, agreements with players’ agents, premium
contracts as well as salary accounting, and supports foreign players in
paying social security contributions.
The VDV also collectively represents
teams before the club executives in
the case of problems.
Dr. Frank Rybak is the lawyer of the
VDV. The labour lawyer was born in
1967 and wrote his dissertation on
the legal relationship between professional footballers and their clubs
in 1999. Among other things, the jurist is an assessor for the VDV at the
“permanent court of arbitration”.

Die Spieler über die Anti-Doping-Vorschriften zu informieren und somit vor
Verstößen und Strafen zu schützen, ist Aufgabe des VDV-Anti-Doping-Beauftragten Lars Kindgen. Zudem vertritt der ehemalige Profi die Interessen der
Spieler gegenüber den entsprechenden Fachgremien der Verbände. Zur Klärung von Fragen und zur Durchführung von Informationsveranstaltungen ist
er auch bei den Mannschaften vor Ort aktiv. Die Beratung ist für Mitglieder
der VDV kostenlos.
Lars Kindgen wurde 1971 geboren und spielte als Profi für Alemannia Aachen,
Wuppertaler SV, VfB Lübeck, RW Essen, Holstein Kiel, VfL Osnabrück und SV
Wilhelmshaven. Nach seiner Spielerlaufbahn absolvierte er eine Weiterbildung
zum Sportfachwirt (IHK).

To inform the players of the anti-doping regulations and to therefore protect
them from infringement and punishment is the task of the VDV anti-doping
agent Lars Kindgen. The former professional also represents the players’ interests against the respective expert committee of the associations. He also
takes action on the spot at the teams’ premises for answering questions and
carrying out informative events. For members of the VDV the consultancy is
free.

Jahr 2006 berät der Laufbahncoach
der VDV die Mitglieder der Spielergewerkschaft kostenlos in den
Bereichen Potentialanalyse, Arbeitsmarktchancen, Weiterbildung, Fördermöglichkeiten und Bewerbungen.

As the player’s labour union, officially approved by the German Football Association (DFB), the league association and
the German football league (“Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH”
DFL), the association of contract football players (“Vereinigung

Le VDV – Ton syndicat de joueurs
Le groupement des footballeurs sous contrat (Vereinigung der
Vertragsfußballspieler – abrégé VDV) fondé en 1987 représente,
en tant que syndicat de joueurs reconnu officiellement par le
Deutschen Fußball-Bund (DFB), la Ligaverband et la société
Deutschen Fußball Liga GmbH (DFL), les intérêts des footballeurs
professionnels en Allemagne et assiste plus de 1300 membres
dans les secteurs de la prévoyance, du droit, de la formation, de la planification professionnelle, de la médecine et de
l’entraînement. Le VDV a des représentants auprès du tribunal
fédéral DfB, du tribunal du sport DFB ainsi que du tribunal
d’arbitrage permanent pour les joueurs licenciés.

A VDV – O teu sindicato dos jogadores
A Associação dos Jogadores de Futebol Contratados (VDV)
foi fundada em 1987 como uma associação independente de
jogadores profissionais de futebol e é reconhecida oficialmente
pela DFB (Federação Alemã de Futebol), pela Associação das
Ligas e pela DFL (Liga Alemã de Futebol) como um sindicato de
jogadores. Ela defende os interesses dos jogadores profissionais
de futebol e apoia os seus mais de 1300 associados no que se
refere à previdência, direitos, formação, planeamento profissional, saúde e treino. A VDV é membro adjunto no Tribunal Federal
da DFB, Tribunal Desportivo da DFB, assim como na Comissão de
arbitragem permanente para os jogadores federados.

VDV-Trainingscamp als Jobsprungbrett
Traditionell führt die VDV auch in diesem Sommer
wieder ein Trainingscamp für vereinslose Spieler
und Rekonvaleszenten in Duisburg durch. Unter
der Leitung qualifizierter Trainer können sich die
Teilnehmer von Anfang Juli bis Ende September
an durchschnittlich vier Tagen pro Woche in der
Sportschule Wedau fit halten und sich in Testspielen gegen hochklassige Gegner vor den Augen von
Managern und Scouts für neue Jobs empfehlen.

Comme tous les étés, le VDV organise cette année
un camp d’entraînement à la Sportschule Wedau
de Duisburg, pour les joueurs convalescents ou
sans club. Quatre jours par semaine en moyenne,
de début juillet à fin septembre, les participants
peuvent se maintenir en forme sous la houlette
d’entraîneurs qualifiés ; pendant les matchs test
contre des adversaires de haut niveau, ils ont la

Como já é tradição, a VDV organiza de novo também neste Verão um campo de treino para jogadores sem vínculo e convalescentes em Duisburg. Sob
a direcção de treinadores qualificados, os participantes podem manter-se em forma na escola de
desporto Wedau, desde inícios de Julho até finais
de Setembro, durante em média quatro dias por
semana, e realizar jogos de teste contra opositores
de grande classe perante o olhar de gerentes e olheiros treinando novas tarefas.

unterstützt werden die Profis von dem aus Ärzten,
Physiotherapeuten, Sportwissenschaftlern und Psychologen bestehenden Kompetenzteam des VDVGesundheitspartners „medicos.AufSchalke“.
Am Trainingscamp teilnehmen können nur Profis,
die seit mindestens drei Monaten Mitglied der VDV
sind. Die Kosten für das Training – einschließlich
Unterbringung und Verpflegung – trägt die VDV.
Zudem unterstützen die VDV-Experten die Teilnehof four days per week at the sports school Wedau.
The professionals are medically looked after and
supported in terms of performance diagnostics by
the competence team consisting of physicians, physiotherapists, sports scientists and psychologists of
the VDV health partner “medicos.AufSchalke”.
Only professionals who have been members of the
VDV for at least three months can take part in the
training camp. The costs of the training – including
accommodation and catering – are borne by the
