• Measure and cut the number of threads needed for each bracelet. Align all the threads, fold them in half and tie a knot 0.5” (12 mm) from the center of the fold to form a loop.

a)To attach the threads to the Bracelet Maker, press down on the clip to open and then hook the loop over the middle pin. Push down to lock the clip in place.
b) Separate threads by placing one thread in each numbered slot.
c) To adjust the height of the clip, press down and slide the clip foward. Release into holding slot. You can always position the working area on a slant.
d) As you complete your bracelet, move the adjustable clip for optimal thread length.

a)Pour attacher les fils à la fabrique de bracelets, appuie sur la pince pour l’ouvrir et accroche la boucle sur la broche centrale. Rabats la pince pour la refermer.
b) Sépare les fils en les plaçant un à un dans les encoches numérotées.
c)Pour régler la hauteur de la pince, appuie sur la pince et fais-la coulisser vers l’avant. Relâche dans une des encoches. Tu peux toujours pencher ta surface de travail.

• DOUBLE RIGHT-HAND KNOT
Take thread #1 and cross it over thread #2, then under #2 and back up #1. Pull the thread up towards the clip until it is tight. Repeat the same for the second knot. Continue to tie double knots with thread #1 until you finish the row.

DOUBLE LEFT-HAND KNOT
Take thread #8 cross it over thread #7, then under #7 and back up #8. Pull the thread up towards the clip until it is tight. Repeat the same for the second knot. Continue the double knots with thread #8 until you finish the row.
TIP: you can combine right and left-hand double knots to create different patterns such as “V” stripes, hearts and crosses.
