Bombassaro, Martin Sattler e Wolfgang Neuser conversam, mediados
por Giancarla Brunetto, sobre aspectos centrais do pensamento
ocidental. Um instigante colóquio que revisita o significado da filosofia,
da educação, da ética e dos direitos humanos na interpretação de
diferentes visões sobre o homem e o mundo.
Porto Alegre, Brazil. The philosophers Bernhard Taureck, Luiz Carlos
Bombassaro, Martin Sattler and Wolfgang Neuser are in a conversation
with Giancarla Brunetto about the main aspects of the western
thought. This is an instigating colloquium that revisits the meaning of
philosophy, education, ethics and human rights in the interpretation of
different views about human and the world.

Bernhard Taureck é filósofo, ensaísta e crítico literário. Formado em Filosofia
pelas universidades de Hamburgo e Tübingen. Foi professor de filosofia nas
universidades de Viena, Hannover, Hamburgo e Braunschweig. Professor
visitante em Urbino e Nápoles. Escreveu inúmeros livros sobre Nietzsche,
filosofia francesa, metáforas e problemas ético-políticos.

Bernhard Taureck is philosopher, essayist and literary critic. Graduated
in Philosophy from the universities of Hamburg and Tübingen. He was
professor of philosophy at the universities of Vienna, Hannover, Hamburg and
Braunschweig. Visiting professor at Urbino and Naples. He wrote numerous
books on Nietzsche, french philosophy, metaphors, ethical and political
problems.

Luiz Carlos Bombassaro é formado em Filosofia pela Universidade de Caxias
do Sul, Mestre em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do
Sul-UFRGS. Realizou estudos de Doutorado em Filosofia nas universidades
de Heidelberg e Kaiserslautern. Professor na Faculdade de Educação e
coordenador do Curso de Especialização Ética e Educação em Direitos
Humanos da UFRGS. Atua na área de Filosofia, com ênfase em Filosofia
na Renascença, Filosofia da Educação, Epistemologia e História da Ciência.
Coordena com Nuccio Ordine a edição brasileira das obras italianas de
Giordano Bruno.

Luiz Carlos Bombassaro is a graduate in Philosophy from the University of
Caxias do Sul, Master of Philosophy at the Federal University of Rio Grande
do Sul-UFRGS. Developed studies of Doctor of Philosophy at the universities
of Heidelberg and Kaiserslautern. Professor at the Faculty of Education and
coordinator of the Specialization Course Ethics and Human Rights Education
of UFRGS. Works in Philosophy, with emphasis on Renaissance Philosophy,
Philosophy of Education, Epistemology and History of Science. Coordinates
with Nuccio Ordine the brazilian edition on the italian works of Giordano
Bruno.

Martin Sattler é Doutor em Filosofia pela Universidade de Munique, professor
de Filosofia Política na Universidade de Mannheim e Diretor da Scuola
Heidelberg do Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici, Heidelberg.

Martin Sattler is Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Munich, professor
of Political Philosophy at the University of Mannheim. Director of Scuola

Wolfgang Neuser é diplomado em Física, Doutor e Livre-docente em Filosofia.
Professor Titular de Filosofia na Universidade de Kaiserslautern. Temas de
pesquisa: Filosofia da Natureza no Idealismo Clássico e seus pressupostos
na Filosofia e na História da Ciência; concepções de natureza e conceitos
filosóficos na Idade Média e na Renascença, com ênfase em Giordano Bruno;
Ética nas Ciências Naturais.

Wolfgang Neuser is graduate in Physics, Ph.D. in Philosophy. Associate
professor of Philosophy. Professor of Philosophy at the University of
Kaiserslautern. Themes of research: Philosophy of Nature in Classical Idealism
and its assumptions in History and Philosophy of Science; conceptions of
nature and philosophical concepts in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance,
with emphasis on Giordano Bruno; Ethics in Natural Sciences.
GIANCARLA BRUNETTO
Giancarla Brunetto é Coordenadora Acadêmica do Curso de
Especialização Ética e Educação em Direitos Humanos da UFRGS, escritora
e cineasta documentarista. Produtora cultural da Faculdade de Educação da
Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul-UFRGS. Mestre em Educação
/ UFRGS, Especialista em Direitos Humanos/UFRGS e Escola Superior do
Ministério Público da União, Licenciada e Bacharel em Filosofia/PUCRS.
Coordenadora da Liga dos Direitos Humanos da UFRGS, onde
desenvolve o projeto Cinedhebate Direitos Humanos (ciclos de filmes com
exibições comentadas). Coordenadora do I Projeto Itinerante de Capacitação
para Defensores em Direitos Humanos do RS, com a realização de aulas
abertas, exibição de filmes e debates, e gravação de depoimentos nos
municípios do interior do Rio Grande do Sul
Autora do livro Ensaio de um Jogo Amoroso (1990, poemas, Ed.
Alcance) e organizadora do livro Os Hereges Temas em Direitos Humanos
(2010, Ed. Armazém Digital). Roteirizou e produziu séries radiofônicas
premiadas, como Câncer, o mal do século (Prêmio AMRIGS) e A Cadeia da
Legalidade (Prêmio ARI de Jornalismo em produção de rádio).

Giancarla Brunetto is Academic Coordinator of the Specialization
Course in Ethics and Human Rights Education of UFRGS. human rights
defender. Screenwriter, filmmaker. Cultural producer in the Faculty of
Education at UFRGS-Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. MS in Education
at UFRGS, Specialist in Human Rights at UFRGS and School of Public Ministry
of the Union, Bachelor Degree in Philosophy at PUCRS.
Coordinator of the Human Rights League of Education College/
UFRGS, with the development of the project Human Rights Cinedhebate
(views and commented movies), and the edition of the Journal Itinerant
(interviews and articles about education and human rights). Coordinator of
the Itinerant Project for Human Rights Defenders in the State of Rio Grande
do Sul. From 2009 on this project has presented open classes, film screenings
and debates, and recording of testimony in 20 municipalities of Rio Grande do
Sul.
Author of An Essay of a Lovely Game (1999, poems, Ed Alcance)
and organizer of the book Heretics Issues in Human Rights (2010, Ed Armazém
Digital). Wrote and produced award-winning radio series, such as Cancer,
the disease of the century (AMRIGS Award) and The Chain of Legality (ARI
Award for Journalism in radio production).
