ANDIT - NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF TRANSPORTATION INFRA-STRUCTURE
The TRANSPORT INFRA-STRUCTURE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION, association, technical and
cultural, without lucrative purposes, which acronym is ANDIT, founded in May 2, 2005, objectifies
promoting the development of transports infra-structure techniques in Brazil, through the
knowledge exchange between technicians, associations, universities and research centers and
other national and international entities, like ISMARTI – International Society for Maintenance and
Rehabilitation of Transport Infrastructure.
Started the activities of the Regional Coordination and Technical Committee: Exchange and
International Relation; Program and Investment Planning; Technical Divulgation; Publishing and
Revision; Education and Technological Transference, Industrial Relation; Studies and Research;
Environment and Sustainability; Waterway Infra Structure; Roadway Infra Structure; Railroad Infra
Structure; Airport Infra Structure; Mass Transport Subway Infra Structure.
ANDIT promoted in 2006 two international events that are very important in the infra-structure
scenery: The International Airport Congress and the Pavement Luso-Brazilian Journey counting with
45 foreign papers and 50 national, besides the respected speakers who had confirmed their
presence.
During the second semester of 2006, seminars, courses and technical programs outside Brazil
offered only for ANDIT members. The members are also received the International Magazine
every semester.

ANDIT – National Association of Transportation Infra structure promoted on July 5 to 7 2006, the V
Pavement Luso Brazilian Journey about Railroads, and on August 2 to 4, 2006 the IAC – Second
International Airport Conference: Planning, Infra-structure and Environment, that will happen at the
Conventions Center of Hotel Jaraguá, in São Paulo, SP.
It is important to remember that ANDIT individual members will always have 20% discount in every
event promoted by the association, besides an assignment discount for the international magazine
IJP International Journal of Pavements Maintenance and Rehabilitation of Pavements and
Technological Control. The regular assignment price is US$280,00 (R$616,00) and for individual
members is US$ 150,00 (R$330,00).
