Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 4 A Little Box (Caixinha) All my pieces I'll collect and with them a simple little box I'll make, and in the hole that's in my chest I will put it in, to have again a place where to keep my happiness. (worse than don't have reasons to feel happy is not to have reasons to feel happy anymore worse than remember passed things (happy things) is to know that's passed worse than being alone is not to have THAT ONE beside you worse than a useless love is to know that you loved www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 6 worse than write about it all is to know that it won't solve anything and worse than it all is to know that it all will repeat again and again - as it should be (and know what's the worst part? the one that 'it should be') and the worst part of the 'it should be' is that it won't be anymore and worse than 'won't anymore' is to feel bad because of it and worse than feel bad because of it is to know that nothing can be done and worse than can't do nothing is to have to get acquanted with it and get prepared for the next one fucking me, fucking me, fucking me again and again and again.) -(neck in the arm and in the body stuck, without need of words and and and and the the the the people passing, sun leaving, ant working, life dancing, laughing and suddenly everything was beautiful.) Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 8 Absence (Ausência) Alone with myself, I feel like part of me had been taken, actually it was. Tears full of emptiness drain by the eternity of my face, nor sadness I have any longer it's much more than this, I can't explain. Weak, legs still trembling I feel the need to continue carrying you in me, I can't go alone yet, but I keep trying and with a emptiness in my chest, I go still stumbling in the stones of your absence. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 9 Alone (Só) Sometimes we feel alone and it makes us get sad. Sometimes we aren't alone, but we feel this way because we miss a single person. Some people are afraid to get alone and die alone (it doesn't make any sense) . But sometimes good is to get alone, hearing the clock ticking and the noise the pencil makes dirting the white paper. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 10 Always Here (Sempre Aqui) In the sweetness of your look I lost myself without knowing when you looked at me with eyes of affection eyes of who cares, everything illuminated. I never said that I loved you, by been shamed maybe, cause unnecessary I judged to say something so 'silly'. But now that you're gone, if everything I could choose, I'd like more one hug, and with eyes of who loves I'd say everything I didn't tell you once. But even knowning it's late, I want you to know that as the moonlight shows up in the sky every night, you'll be inside my heart, pass the time that passes, you will always be guiding me and I'll always be loving you. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 11 todas as noites, você estará dentro do meu coração, passe o tempo que passar, você sempre estará a me guiar e eu sempre a te amar.) Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 12 Annoyance (Aborrecimento) My love had became mean of annoyance to the people who I can't stop loving not even for a moment. Excuses I ask for the left side of my chest that insists in keeping useless feelings. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 13 Anxious (Ansioso) The sky turns to gray, clouds full of loneliness gets closer, I feel the first drop, the storm begins. There's a storm in my chest, feelings drown in a flood of uncertainties. I close my eyes and time passes, now I feel just a light rain of longing. The heart, cold and soaking, now looks for shelter. Shrunken, quiet, in a dark corner inside the chest, it awaits anxious the day the Spring will return, so it will finally bloom the feelings that were once drowned. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 14 Aquele Último (That Last) - for Y.T. o último beijo no último instante daquele último abraço antes daquele último ônibus nessa última lembrança aqueles últimos momentos quando aquelas últimas palavras e aquele último suspiro acusaram saudade antes de ser saudade e poder fazer tudo de novo over and over again. (the last kiss in the last instant of that last hug before that last bus in this last memory those last moments when those last words and that last breath accused longing before it's longing and can do it all over again de novo e de novo.) Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 15 Celestial The cold wind come through the window playing with the blue curtains and kiss my skin, inviting-me to spy the infinty and dark sky. I don't see anything at that celeste dark, but little holes that shine accusing life up there. Still in the window, I try to look through one of that holes (the bigger one) , but I still don't see anything, it's too high, the only thing I can see are holywwodians looks - one of that in love reflecting and crossing my imagination. I try, try, try, but I can't see through that shiny little hole and much less I can get close to them. God created the infinity this way so up high in order to not let any dodger enter there without invite. How I still can't go up there, I just look and dream with something alike, that blue little bird wich people call it love and that is the neariest of infinty that I - small - can imagine. -(O vento frio atravessa a janela brincando com as cortinas azuis e me beija a pele, convidando-me a espiar o céu infinito e escuro. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 16 entrada sem convite. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 17 Chest's Out (Peito Roto) The chest still out, unable to shelter that darksome-blue bird that makes twirls in the air, asks urgency of repair. Bobbin, needle, line, tic-tac, chair, patient... everything's ok! But appears a problem, I sew as bad as I write poem. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 18 Choice (Escolha) The chest tightens in distress, pernicious feeling that smashs me inside out. I thought I've done away from this hurt, but now I realize whats going on. To finish this tightness once for all, I must make only one choice. Throw everything away and continue living my life, or keep a love inside me and continue to suffer. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 19 Clock (Relógio) Time passes and my heart's clock hands simply don't move. It should be broken. Deve estar quebrado.) Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 20 Cure (Cura) I ask respectfully that you tell me Mr. Doctor if there's remedy that makes me forget this obsolete happiness that doesn't let my heart beat. Please, tell me, please, I don't want from death the solution I need you to tell me Mr. Doctor the cure for my heart. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 21 Dreaming Awake (Sonhando Acordado) I look at the TV, and without leaving the couch I travel, recollecting the few moments that I've spent with you. Eternal seconds of nostalgia. Sometimes it's like I'm there, living that day again. But it's exactly when I realize being dreaming awake that the appeal seems to break, and I realize that nothing that was still is. People say that who lives of past is museum, but God in His Grace created deaf the heart. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 22 Emptiness (Vazio) Emptiness... in the heart's dictionary is one of the hardest words to understand. Cause it's not defined in words. Emptiness is to take a deep breath, but not for wanting; Emptiness is to close the eyes and feel the heart beats strongly; Emptiness is to travel deep in the soul, but find only regards; Emptiness is nostalgia. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 24 Fate (Destino) Everything happens for a reason? Or maybe everything we live actually is in vain? I'm sure of only one thing, we were born pre-destinated, to the uncertainty of living. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 25 For a moment (Por um momento) For a moment you were everything that I once missed. For a moment you were my ground, thumbing me up. For a moment you made my heart beats strong, but now, I don't know why it beats anymore. For a moment you were more than a best friend, you made me forget the problems, nothing else mattered, cause you were there with me. For a moment you filled up the hole that I had in the chest. Even if only for a moment, I would die to enjoy that feeling again. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 27 Friday Night In The School (Sexta-feira Na Escola) It's 10p.m. and there's nothing to do, the room is almost empty, only two teachers solving teachers problems and I, here, sit and writing. Everything is calm, only the noise of the calculator and the protests of a quimic teacher about the coldness - and how it's cold! break the silence in the room. It's friday,10p.m. and there's nothing to do (a teacher leaves the room) , and I write, waiting that loudy noise warn me that the gates are already opened and I already can go home. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 28 Frustrations (Frustrações) Thousands of frustrations merciless, each one with its fusil, hit me in the arm, hit me in the leg and in the heart. Hit me with bullets of loneliness, sadness granades and this way, only by this way they made me fall. But I rise, and with the leads of who hit me, without they knowing, I'm creating my shield. And when they thought have finished me, that's when they'll realize that was all in vain. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 29 Happiness, Love (Felicidades, Amor) If it's verse wrapped in caress and silk what you're looking for in this half-poem, I lament to inform, but about such subjects my heart, without argument, hushes. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 30 I Confess (Confesso) From the deepest part of me, a secret place, wich nor I know where it exaclty is, maybe in the heart, an other part in the mind. I confess that for a moment I wanted everything to stop, just to enjoy the eternity of that kiss, that hug, that feeling with all its intensity. I confess that in that moment, in resume, I simply was not only mine. But everything has passed. Has it? Today, with a smile, I remember your smile. And with a smile, I wonder if what didn't passed, is still to pass. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 31 I Don't Know When, But I Dreamed (Sonho) The night was cold as every night, There was nothing special in the sky and the day had been like any other. As soon as I lay tired in the bed I slept, slept and dreamed. I dreamed little pieces of simple memories of a daily that was lost in the day of your leaving. I dreamed thw sweetiest dream ever dreamed. I dreamed your caress, I dreamed your love, and much more than this, I could feel them again in my heart. I dreamed your forgotten voice, declaring me by between the lines your unconditional affection. I was nothing more than a dream, I know, but yesterday I dreamed the happiest dream, I dreamed the same dream you dreamed, mother. Yesterday I realized that the Poet was right in his words: the feelings don't pass, it's illusion of it had passed. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 33 I Pulsate (Eu Pulso, Ela Vive.) I pulsate because the sun shines and flames my being, giving me breath, not letting me die. I simply pulsate because my heart insists on beating. My soul yes, it lives. It lives in a distant place, alone, in a place beyond the time, beyond here, where nothing pulsates, but only it lives (happy) . There is beatiful, the sky is rosy in the morning and there's always smiles, kisses, hugs. There I'm loved by myself, love wich won't be denied or taken from me, a place where the fear is nothing but a scary history. But if it will be this way I prefer to keep pulsating than live in a delusion's place, and pulsating I will be, until the day that 'I love you' she decides to say. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 34 Mas por enquanto eu pulso. Eu pulso, ela vive.) Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 35 I Want A Love... (Quero Um Amor...) I want a love to hug, just for hugging. I want a love to kiss, just for kissing. I want a love to dance, just for dancing. I want a love to talk, just for talking. I want a love to get out, just for the company. I want a love to disembosom, just for trusting. I want a love to love, only with the mind, cause I won't give my heart to anyone any longer. And if you want it, I want you to know that its mine, and only mine. I just want you to know that the only way to have it is to steal it from inside me. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 36 In The Middle Of The Road (No Meio Do Caminho) If in the middle of the road you find my heart, divert, go back, jump (like frog) , for nothing in this world touch it, don't carry useless thing thing with you. -(Se no meio do caminho encontrar meu coração, desvia, volta, pula (feito rã) , por nada nesse mundo ponha a mão, não carregue consigo coisa vã.) Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 37 Inside The Toy Box (Caixa De Brinquedos) As a toy wich lost it's shine to the eyes of a child, I've been forgotten at the bottom of the toys box. Some day you'll find me quiet and covered with dust, at the bottom, under any other little toy and you'll realize that you can't play with me anymore. (Maybe this day never comes) . PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 38 Lira Romantiquinha - Carlos Drummond de Andrade Por que me trancas o rosto e o riso e assim me arrancas do paraíso? , acarinhar-me? Minh'alma chove frio, tristinho. Não te comove este versinho? Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 39 Love (Amor) Love is desease, that appears in the head, that corrodes the rationality. Go down by the vertebral column, making us tremble, without reaction. It penetrates in the blood, infesting all the body, until it finally reachs to the heart. Uncover feelings that before were occult and unknown. Love is a cureless desease, the one who's infected by it is doomed. 'posso chutar a bunda dele...' PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 42 Missing (Saudade) Missing, when understood its meaning, it is always pronounced half in phonome, half in tear. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 43 Mother's Day (10 de maio de 2008) Strange, the miss of that sweet preocupation of in your eyes, try to discover what you want to win. Usually it was any gift and a short hug, one of that wich warm inside and only you knew how to do. It's your day and you're not here anymore, more one day, without you here. I miss you. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 44 NOT To Love You, To Live (Viver) It's licit to me to lay, it's licit to me to look at the roof, it's licit to me to close the eyes, it's licit to me to remember, it's licit to me to sleep and dream, it's licit to me to wake up, it's licit to me to continue to dream, it's licit to me to want to wait for you, but it should not me to love you To lay, to look, to remember, to sleep, to dream, to wake up, to want, to continue, to wait, NOT to love you = to live. -(Me é lícito deitar, me é lícito o teto olhar, me é lícito os olhos fechar, me é lícito lembrar, me é lícito dormir e sonhar, me é lícito acordar, me é lícito sonhando continuar, me é lícito querer te esperar, mas não mais me convém te amar. Deitar, olhar, lembrar, dormir, sonhar, acordar, querer, continuar, esperar, NÃO te amar = viver.) Flávio Ferrel www.PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 45 Nothing matters (Nada importa) One, two, three lines. One, two, three seconds. The time (bad smell of new with what's already rotten) passes. And we born, love, grow up, sweep, die and turn into a pile - uselessof nothing. At the bottom, nothing matters, since it has an end. PoemHunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive 50 De tudo fica um pouco.
