highlight ATLANTIC ROOTS FESTIVAL The Atlantic Roots Festival, that takes place for the 12th consecutive year, brings to the Capital of Madeira musical animation of traditional influence combined with world music, joining groups of several origins at the Municipal Garden stage. This event takes place from 21st to 23rd July. On the first day we’ll have the Galundum Galundaina group from Portugal, at 9:30 p.m., followed an hour later, by the Gattamolesta group from Italy, that will open this year’s poster. On the following days, we can watch several concerts from Guinea Bissau, Dutch, Azorean and Madeiran groups.
