* Study Tip: Make sure you understand the plot, characters, setting, conflicts and themes of all summer readings, prior to the beginning of the school
year in August. Students in grades 2nd through 5th will need to complete a summary of the English books and turn in assignment on the first week of
school for an academic grade. Then in class, the students will complete a reading comprehension exam about the readings.
