Die A.D.D.I. MARTIAL ARTS ORGANISATION ist ein weltweit tätiger,
gemeinnütziger Verband, welcher sich auf Betreuung und Förderung
von Sportschulen, Vereinen und Clubs im Bereich der internationalen
Kampfkunst und des Kampsports spezialisiert hat. Im Mittelpunkt ihrer vielschichtiger Aufgaben und Bemühungen steht die Zufriedenheit
ihrer zu betreuenden Vereine, Schulen und Clubs an erster Stelle.
The A.D.D.I. MARTIAL ARTS ORGANISATION is a global, non-profit association established with the aim of serving and supporting sports
schools, associations and clubs within the context of international
martial arts and combat sports. The satisfaction of the associations,
schools and clubs it serves is at the core of all of the organisation’s
complex functions and endeavours.
Die Organisation wurde im Jahre 2000 erstmalig in den USA gegründet und im Jahre 2001 auch in Europa eingeführt. Der heutige Sitz
der Organisation für den gesamten Betreuungsbereich Europa ist
die bayerische Landeshauptstadt München. Die Organisation verfügt
über ein umfangreiches Netzwerk an Experten, Materialien und Möglichkeiten, um sowohl gemeinnützige Vereine, als auch kommerzielle
Schulen und Clubs optimal und nach deren Bedürfnissen zu betreuen
und zu fördern. Derzeit obliegt der Organisation die Betreuung von
mehreren tausend Vereinen, Sportschulen und Clubs rund um den gesamten Globus.
The A.D.D.I. was founded in the USA in 2000 and subsequently introduced in Europe in 2001. Its European headquarters are located in
the Bavarian capital of Munich, in southern Germany. Its extensive
network of experts, materials and capabilities mean that the organisation is perfectly equipped to serve and support both non-profit associations and commercial schools and clubs to the highest standard
on the basis of their individual needs. The A.D.D.I. is currently serving
several thousand associations, sports schools and clubs all over the
world.
Um diese vielfältigen, umfangreichen und zum Teil sehr unterschiedlichen Aufgaben und Bedürfnisse im Sinne aller von der Organisation
zu betreuenden Vereine, Schulen und Clubs umsetzen zu können, arbeitet die Organisation dabei auch mit besonders ausgesuchten Partnern der internationalen Martial Arts Branche eng zusammen. Dabei
ist und bleibt die Organisation dennoch völlig unabhängig und eigenständig. Somit ist jedem beitretenden Verein, jeder Schule und jedem
Club, gleich welcher Herkunft und Stilrichtung, eine optimale und zuverlässige Betreuung und Förderung sicher garantiert. Die Leistungsangebote für unsere Mitglieder werden jedes Jahr stetig erweitert und
sind so in keinem zweiten Verband weltweit zu finden.
In order to be able to fulfil these numerous, extensive and sometimes
highly varied tasks and requirements in a manner that reflects the
needs of all of the associations, schools and clubs under its auspices,
the organisation has developed close collaborations with specially
selected partners from the international martial arts sector. In working
with these partners, however, the organisation remains fully independent and distinct. This means that every association, school and club
that joins the A.D.D.I., regardless of their background or style, can be
guaranteed the best and most reliable service and support. The services we offer our members are constantly being expanded and are
not available from any other organisation the world over.

Neben allen zeitgemäßen Ideen im Bereich der Kampfkunst und des
Kampfsports stehen immer noch die bewährten Grundsätze und Werte des Budos im Vordergrund. Der Trend entwickelt sich immer weiter in Richtung universeller, flexibler Dienstleistungen, aber gerade
in einem so tiefen und vielschichtigen Bereich wie der Kampfkunst
und des Kampfsports darf Masse nie auf Kosten der Qualität gehen.
Neben allen zeitgemäßen Ideen im Bereich der Kampfkunst und des
Kampfsports stehen immer noch die bewährten Grundsätze und Werte des Budos im Vordergrund.
Amid all the contemporary concepts in the area of martial arts and
combat sports, the tried-and-tested principles and values of budo are
still paramount. The trend continues to move towards more universal,
more flexible services, but especially in a sector as deep and complex
as that of martial arts, growth should never at the cost of quality.
Im Laufe der Jahre hat sich die Organisation auf die optimale und bedarfsorientierte Betreuung von Schulen, Vereinen und Clubs aber auch von
Einzelmitgliedern aus den verschiedensten Stilrichtungen spezialisiert.
Ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis von Stiltreue und Weiterentwicklung ist in
dieser Zeit genauso wichtig wie zu Zeiten der großen Budo-Traditionen.
Zufriedenheit unserer Mitglieder hat

Es ist ein wichtiges Anliegen der Organisation, auch moderne und zukunftsorientierte Stilrichtungen und Systeme in ihre fachliche Betreuung einzubeziehen. Auch angehende Gründer und Leiter von Schulen, Clubs oder Vereinen profitieren nicht nur von dem vielfältigen
Fach- und Praxiswissen der in der Organisation tätigen Stilreferenten
und Funktionäre, sondern auch von der umfangreichen Auswahl an
Dienstleistungen für ihre Schulen und Vereine und Schüler.
Gerade in der Kampfkunst und im Kampfsport, wo man sich immer auf
seine Partner verlassen und vertrauen können muss, zählen Tugenden
wie Zuverlässigkeit, Offenheit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Fairness im Sport
immer noch sehr viel. Dieses gilt bei uns gleichermaßen für alle Mitglieder in unserer Organisation, egal ob Vorstand, Funktionär, Meister oder
Schüler. Dafür steht unsere Organisation mit ihrem Namen.
So stiegen seit Anbeginn der Gründung die Mitgliederbeitritte von Vereinen, Schulen und Clubs aus allen traditionellen Stilrichtungen wie z.B.
Karate, Taekwondo, Ju-Jutsu, Kempo, Aikido, Judo, Hapkido, Judo, KungFu und den modernen Stilrichtungen wie z.B. Kickboxen oder MMA in
erheblichen Maße an. Meist handelt es sich um Beitritte von Schulen,
Vereinen und Clubs aus anderen Verbänden oder Neugründungen.
Unsere durchschnittliche Austrittsrate liegt bei nur 0,1% im Kalenderjahr und spricht daher im Hinblick auf Mitgliederzufriedenheit in
unserer Organisation für sich selbst.
Over the years, the organisation has specialised in serving not only
schools, associations and clubs, but also individual members from the
many different styles to the best of its ability and in a manner that is
tailored to their individual needs. Finding the right balance between
loyalty to a style and further development is as important now as it
was when the great budo traditions were at their height.
Member satisfaction is paramount
Including modern, future-oriented styles and systems in the specialised services it offers is of great importance to the A.D.D.I. Potential
founders and directors of schools, clubs or associations can also benefit not only from the multifaceted professional and practical knowledge of the organisation’s style advisors and officials, but also from the
extensive range of services it offers their schools, associations and
students.
Particularly in martial arts and combat sports, where we must always
be able to rely on and trust our partners, qualities such as reliability,
openness, helpfulness and fairness in the sport are still highly esteemed. Here at the A.D.D.I., this applies equally to all members of our
organisation – whether they are board members, officials, masters or
students. Indeed, this key concept is embodied in the very title of the
organisation.
Thus, since its foundation, the organisation has equally welcomed
members from associations, schools and clubs from all of the traditional styles, such as karate, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, kempo, aikido,
judo, hapkido and kung fu, as well as from the modern styles such
as kickboxing or MMA. Most of our new members come from schools,
associations and clubs linked with other organisations or from newly-founded associations. On average, just 0.1% of our members leave the A.D.D.I. each calendar year – a figure that speaks for itself as a
reflection of member satisfaction within our organisation.

Eines der wichtigsten Ziele, welches sich unsere Organisation verpflichtet hat, ist es auch, wirtschaftlich benachteiligte Sportler, Schulen und Vereine eine Möglichkeit zu bieten, ihre persönlichen Ziele in
der Kampfkunst und im Kampfsport gemeinschaftlich zu erreichen.
Dabei steht die Organisation als ein zuverlässiger Partner umfassend
zur Seite.
One of the most important objectives our organisation has set itself is
to offer even economically disadvantaged sportspersons, schools and
associations an opportunity to achieve their personal goals in martial
arts and combat sports together. To this end, the A.D.D.I. is always on
hand, standing at your side to offer comprehensive support.
Ein weiteres Ziel ist es, allen Kampfkünstlern, Kampfsportlern sowie
deren Schulen, Clubs und Vereine, aus den unterschiedlichsten traditionellen und modernen Disziplinen in eine freundschaftliche und
konkurrenzfreie, starke Gemeinschaft zusammen zu führen. Darüber
hinaus ist es ein Bestreben der Organisation, die hiesige Martial Arts
auf einem hohen Niveau – auch unter strenger Berücksichtigung der
entsprechend bestehenden Traditionen, Zeremonien und Etiketten der
jeweiligen Schulen und Vereine – zu halten.
Soziales Engagement und verantwortliche Öffentlichkeitsarbeit sind
oberste Maxime der Organisation. Sie vertritt nicht nur die Interessen ihrer angeschlossenen Mitglieder, sondern setzt sich auch für die
Bewahrung der Kampfkunst in der ursprünglichen Form ein. So unterstützt diese mit ihren Mitteln und Möglichkeiten viele Sportschulen,
Vereine und Clubs, um zu deren Erfolg und Fortbestehen auch für die
Zukunft beizutragen. Diese Philosophie und Aufgabe wird von allen
Mitgliedern und Funktionären in der Organisation gleichermaßen geteilt. Vorstände und Funktionäre der Organisation sind ausschließlich
ehrenamtlich tätig.
Gerade in der heutigen Zeit, wo das Geld in den Kassen der Schulen, Vereine und insbesondere bei den Sportlern immer knapper wird,
ist es sehr wichtig und unerlässlich, dass es einen Verband für „alle
Schulen und Vereine“ und nicht nur für „Wenige“ mit einem starken
finanziellen Hintergrund oder Beziehungen gibt, die es sich leisten
können. In verschiedenen Projekten und Aktionen fördert die Organisation und deren Partner, durch ehrenamtliche Zusammenarbeit und
aktives Sponsoring, zahlreiche soziale, karitative und gesellschaftliche
Martial Arts Projekte. Neben der Unterstützung von wohltätigen Zwecken, ist die A.D.D.I. auch besonders in der sportlichen Jugendpflege
aktiv. Der Verband bietet mit seiner einfachen und überschaubaren
Kostenstruktur jedem Interessenten eine bezahlbare Mitgliedschaft
und somit eine aktive und dauerhafte Teilnahme am Kampfkunst- und
Kampfsportgeschehen.
One of the other purposes of the A.D.D.I is to bring together all those practising martial arts or combat sports, as well as their schools,
clubs and associations from the most diverse traditional and modern
disciplines in a strong, non-competitive and friendly community.
Furthermore, the organisation strives to maintain a high level among
the local martial arts, whilst ensuring that the traditions, ceremonies
and etiquette of each respective school and association are taken into
consideration.
Social commitment and responsible public relations work are also
among the priorities of the organisation. The A.D.D.I. represents not
only the interests of its members, but also works to promote the preservation of the martial arts in their original forms. In this context, the
organisation uses its means and capabilities to support a great many
sports schools, associations and clubs so as to contribute to their success and their continued existence in the future. This philosophy and
the tasks it entails are shared equally by all of our members and officials. All of our board members and officials work for the A.D.D.I. on a
strictly voluntary basis.
Especially in these times when funds are becoming increasingly limited for schools, associations and particularly sportspersons, it is highly
important – indeed, essential – that there is an organisation for “all
schools and associations” and not just for the “few” who are lucky
enough to have a strong financial foundation or relations who can
afford to fund their endeavours. The organisation and its partners support numerous social, charitable and community martial arts projects
as part of various ventures and campaigns and through voluntary collaboration and active sponsorship. In addition to its support of these
worthy causes, the A.D.D.I. is also particularly active in the area of
youth welfare in sports. The simple, clear cost structure of the organisation means that any interested party can join for an affordable
membership fee and thereby enjoy active, long-term participation in
martial arts and combat sports events.

Nicht zuletzt dank dieser Grundsätze schafft es die Organisation seit
dem Jahr 2000 weltweit, neben ihrer Professionalität bis heute als fairerer, zuverlässiger und seriöser Budo-Verband bekannt und geschätzt
zu werden.
Imagepflege durch Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
In verschiedenen Projekten und Aktionen fördern die Organisation
und deren Partner, auch durch ehrenamtliche Mitarbeit oder Sponsoring, zahlreiche soziale, karitative und gesellschaftliche Veranstaltungen. Neben der Unterstützung wohltätiger Zwecke ist die Organisation auch besonders in der Jugendpflege aktiv.

International Black Belt Committee
International Black Belt Committee
Dieser Abteilung unterliegt die Prüfungs- und Lehraufsicht in den verschiedenen Kampfsport- und Kampfkunstdisziplinen innerhalb Organisation. Diese Abteilung hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Martial
Arts in ihrer wahren Form und inhaltlichen Bedeutung zu erhalten. Der
Beitritt in das I.B.B.C. ist deshalb für jeden Dan-Träger und Budo-Lehrer eine Ehre und Verpflichtung zugleich.
International Referee Board
Diese Abteilung ist für die Ausbildung und Aufsicht des Kampfrichterwesens zuständig. Zuverlässigkeit, Erfahrung als Kampfrichter, einen
einwandfreien Leumund in der Martial Arts, Fortbildungsbereitschaft
und einen ausgeprägten Sinn für die ordnungsgemäße und faire Bewertung der Teilnehmer, gleich welcher Herkunft, Graduierung oder
persönliches Ansehen, ist eine zwingende Voraussetzung für diese besondere Aufgabe auf den Turnieren, Wettkämpfen und Meisterschaften im In- und Ausland. Jeder qualifizierte Kampfrichter, egal welcher
Herkunft oder Stilrichtung, kann in das International Referee Board
aufgenommen werden.
International Founder & Headmaster Council
Diese Abteilung steht für die Zusammenarbeit von ehrbaren internationalen Großmeistern, Stilbegründern und angesehenen Organisationsleitern. Sie hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, neu begründete
Stile, Systeme und Organisationen nach den internationalen Richtlinien
der Organisation und deren Kooperationspartnern anzuerkennen.

This division is responsible for overseeing examinations and training
in the various martial arts and combat sports disciplines within the
organisation. This division has set itself the task of ensuring that the
martial arts are preserved in terms of their true form and the significance of their content. Consequently, becoming a member of the
I.B.B.C. is both an honour and an obligation for every black belt holder
and budo teacher.
International Referee Board
This division is responsible for training and overseeing the refereeing
body of the organisation. Reliability, refereeing experience, an impeccable reputation within the world of martial arts, willingness to
complete further training and a pronounced sense of how to evaluate
participants both appropriately and fairly, regardless of background,
grade or personal reputation are all essential prerequisites for this
very special role at tournaments, competitions and championships
within Germany and abroad. Any qualified referee, regardless of their
background or style, can be accepted onto the International Referee
Board.
International Founder & Headmaster Council
This division focuses on collaboration with distinguished Grand Masters, style founders and respected organisation heads. It has set itself
the task of recognising newly founded styles, systems and organisations on the basis of the international guidelines of the organisation
and those of its partners.
