Highlight of last month:
January 07, 2015: German Centre Movie Night – Shanghai Calling
At our German Centre Movie Night, there was a lot to laugh about. We showed the movie Shanghai Calling which is a
romantic comedy about modern-day American immigrants in an unfamiliar land – China. During watching the movie, a lot of
the attendees were able to identify with some of the culture and languages challenges portrayed in the movie. Some popcorn,
chips and drinks on top of this great and amusing movie made the cinema feeling perfect. The German Centre Beijing wants
to thank everyone who stopped by and enjoyed this nice evening together with us.

Sehr kurze Fiktionen sind kein neues Genre. Sie haben ihre Wurzeln in vielfachen literarischen Traditionen auf der ganzen Welt. Mit Blick auf den technologischen
Wandel und das rasante Tempo des modernen Lebens, bildet „Flash Fiction“ eine literarische Antwort auf unsere Zeit.
Um europäische „Flash Fiction“ vorzustellen und kostenlose, originelle, kreative und qualitativ hochwertige Inhalte den chinesischen Lesern bieten zu können,
präsentieren die Delegation der Europäischen Union in China, die Botschaften der 28 EU-Mitgliedstaaten, das Restaurant und Buchhandlung „The Bookworm“ und das
Goethe-Institut China das Projekt „Flash-Europa 28“ in China.
Mit der Veröffentlichung erster Geschichten aus Deutschland begann die erste Lesewoche des Projekts am 6. Oktober 2014, bei dem europäische „Flash Fictions“ von
jungen Autoren aus allen 28 Mitgliedstaaten der Europäischen Union online und für Mobilgeräte kompatibel veröffentlicht werden. Über nationale Wettbewerbe wurden
fünf Einreichungen aus jedem Staat ausgewählt und ins Chinesische übersetzt. Sie werden dem chinesischen Publikum von Oktober 2014 bis April 2015, in einem
Zeitraum von 28 Wochen, über mehrere soziale Netzwerke kostenlos vorgestellt. Sprache: jeweilige Landessprache, chinesische und englische Übersetzung.

as Five Phases Qigong.
Qigong - related to Taiji Quan – is a set of various exercises that helps you to calm down and make your body strong, soft and flexible. Easy and joyful to learn it’s an
