Presentation & Feedback giving skills - crucial
competences for project managers
In association with The Toastmasters Club of
Zurich
Project managers face many situations, where
they have to stand before an audience. They
may have to present the project status to a
steering committee, motivate their team or talk
about their project to a critical audience within
the company. In those situations it is not just
about getting the facts across, it is also about
getting the message to the audience, in an
understandable, convincing and sometimes
even entertaining way. Today, being a good
speaker is not just a nice-to-have skill for
project managers, it is absolutely crucial for our
profession.

NETEVENT :Was Kommt nach dem Project
Quality Management?
subjektiv wahrgenommenen Geisteshaltung
entwickelt, welche als integraler Bestandteil
einer Organisation oder Lieferanten
vorausgesetzt wird

Ich bin doch kein Politiker, ich bin Projektleiter
Kommunizieren ist einfach - denn schliesslich
ist mir klar, was ich sagen will.
Der Projektplan ist eindeutig, die technischen
Detailspezifikationen sind glasklar, die
Milestones sind bekannt. Nur: Irgendwie
scheinen dies diese "Politiker" aus der
Teppichetage nicht zu verstehen. Und sie sind
es, die das Steering Commitee dominieren. Mit
Ihren Fragen - und "ihrem" Geld.
