*
What is NLP? Briefly: NLP is a communication model, developed on the experience of excellent
psychotherapists and communicators in the world of economics and business. It was described in the 70s in
California USA and has − due to the fact that it can be applied immediately − spread all over the world.
NLP stands for Neurolinguistic Programming, whereas

Neuro means neurological processes,
−
Linguistisches means language, forms of language, patterns of language.
−
Programming means behavioural patterns t hat have been learnt by experience and can be organized to
achieve specific goals in life.
NLP is a multi-dimensional process that involves a model how to study communication between people as well as
a number tools and skills of effective communication. NLP establishes a system of examining how human beings
organize and structure their processes of thinking, of feeling, of behaving, of habits and experience. Processes,
through which human beings collect, code, convert and relay information about their environment and social
interaction play a very important role within the model.
