We offer extra tours for groups of 30 paying passengers, but we would kindly like
to remind you to book in advance! Please note that due to special tours and
group bookings, the regular schedule can be changed. Furthermore in case of
storm, fog, heavy rain and unexpected conditions, tours may be cancelled at short

ROUTE: We will take you from the landing stage
Madlmair with a wonderful view of Altaussee, the
mountains Loser and Trisselwand to the landing stage
Jagdhaus Seewiese and back again with a
fascinating panorama of Dachstein.
Enjoy the cruise for instance with the traditional Loser
beer or Styrian wine. Or combine a boat cruise with a
short hike to Jagdhaus Seewiese or from Jagdhaus
Seewiese back to Altaussee.
OUR SERVICE ON BOARD: For your refreshment
we offer drinks and snacks. Our special: Loser beer.
For the cool hours, we have cuddy blankets available
on board.
CULINARY HIGHLIGHTS: Enjoy coffee and strudel
specialities at Jagdhaus Seewiese and go back by boat
or by walk. Every Wednesday and Sunday from June
to August, Jagdhaus Seewiese offers fresh roasted or
smoked lake char. Reservation required.

with a photovoltaic generator, electricity is produced.
Thus electric motors are powered. In the meanwhile,
energy can be stored in batteries, which allows the boat
to operate also on sunless days.

How you get to the landing stage Altaussee Madlmaier:
After passing the boundary sign Altaussee, come to the town
hall. There you can see a public car parking space. Cross the
meadow to the landing stage.

I lost my heart, because I gave it away to the Ausseerland. Without asking me, Altaussee is cought up in my
heart. This inkwell-blue lake, those massive mountains
and this incredible silence - it simply fascinated me.
Our Solar Boat as Film Studio of James Bond
In 2011 the company Stern & Hafferl put Austria‘s first
solar boat into operation. A dream came true, which I
am very happy about.
In 2015 our solar boat was transformed into a swimming
film studio for the new James Bond movie “Spectre“.
We had the chance to experience the film shooting and
also Daniel Craig very closed, which is unforgettable
for us.
