lab facilities. We also implement this as a service provider at
a second location — the Ernst Abbe Centre for Research and
Transfer in Ilmenau, Thuringia. Partner more, we support constructors and architects during the concept phase for functional
real estate that include high-tech equipment and flexible use of
space. Our specialties are business incubators, lab facilities and
life science parks. Once construction is complete, we focus primarily on ensuring a technologically and economically effective
operation of the building. This is a decisive factor for the success
of your investment. Together with tenants of the BioInstrumentation Centre and other young companies in the region, we
organize trade fair presentations and thus support your marketing activities. To this end, you determine the contents and we
take care of the organizational framework. We would also be

Managing Director
Klaus Ullrich studierte Mathematik an der Friedrich-SchillerUniversität in Jena. Nach 10jähriger Forschungstätigkeit war
er mehrere Jahre als Manager im Bereich der Regionalentwicklung tätig. Er hat verantwortlich an der Entwicklung und
Umsetzung des BioInstrumente-Konzepts in Thüringen mitgearbeitet. Seit Gründung der BioCentiv GmbH im Jahr 1999 ist
er deren Geschäftsführer.
Klaus Ullrich studied Mathematics at the FriedrichSchiller-University in Jena. After 10 years as a
researcher he worked as a turn around manager in
the field of regional development. He was responsible for the development and the realization of the
Thuringian BioInstruments Concept. Since its founding in 1999 he is Managing Director of BioCentiv.

Nach Abschluss ihrer Berufsausbildung als Bürokauffrau
im Jahre 2004 übernahm Steffi Günther die Aufgaben im
administrativen Bereich. Heute ist sie darüber hinaus die
verantwortliche Mitarbeiterin und erster Ansprechpartner für
unsere Kunden im Bereich Service und Marketing.
After completing her apprenticeship as an office
clerk in 2004 Steffi Günther took charge of the
duties in the administrative area. Today she is also
responsible and first contact person for our customers for services and marketing.

Klaus Bresler ist Maschinenbau-Ingenieur. Er besitzt langjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb haustechnischer Anlagen, sowohl
für Labor- als auch industriell genutzte Gebäude. Sein
Know-How steht auch unseren Kunden für den Betrieb ihres
eigenen Labores zur Verfügung.
Klaus Bresler is a mechanical engineer. He has longtime experience in operating technical systems,
both laboratory and also industrial utilized buildings. Our customers can also use his know how for
running their own labs.

Matthias Elze erlernte den Beruf eines Gas-Wasser-Installateurs und sammelte danach einige Jahre Erfahrung im BauGewerbe. Mit Fertigstellung des Ernst-Abbe-Zentrums für Forschung und Transfer in Ilmenau ist er für dessen technischen
Betrieb verantwortlich. Ebenso unterstützt er unser Team im
Bereich Facility Management in Jena.
Matthias Elze was trained to be a plumber and
gained experience for several years in the construction industry. Since the completion of the ErnstAbbe-Center for Research and Transfer in Ilmenau
he is responsible for its technical operation. He also
supports our team in Jena in the Facility Management section.

Building Superintendent
Tanja Jacobi ist gelernte Bürokauffrau. Nach ihrer Ausbildung
hat sie sowohl Sekretariatsaufgaben als auch Tätigkeiten im
Bereich der Buchhaltung und Haus- und Mietverwaltung
wahrgenommen. Bei der BioCentiv GmbH ist sie darüber
hinaus auch für die fördertechnische Betreuung unserer Mieter verantwortlich tätig.
Tanja Jacobi is a skilled office clerk. After her
training she administrated both secreterial duties
and accounting as well as property management.
In BioCentiv she is furthermore responsible for the
application of government grants for our tenants.
