„Success in Motion“.
We are proud to present to you our celebratory publication entitled “Success in Motion”.
Dies steht für Bewegung, Dynamik, Wachstum, Erfolg.
Diese Werte treiben uns seit 25 Jahren an.
Die Festschrift zum 25-jährigen Jubiläum von SIGMA
SPORT® illustriert durch seine Bildsprache sehr deutlich
die Veränderung unserer Produkte in ihren Features und
im Produktdesign im Lauf der Zeit. Die rasante Entwicklung der Mikroelektronik machte dies möglich und wurde
von SIGMA SPORT® stets konsequent aufgegriffen und
umgesetzt.

Die optimale Kombination von Mechanik, Elektronik und Software ist Grundvoraussetzung für die spätere Benutzerfreundlichkeit und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der langlebigen Produkte. Für die garantierte, einwandfreie Funktionalität sorgen eigens entwickelte aufwändige Testverfahren. Eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit Universitäten und
Forschungsinstituten inspiriert das F&E-Team zur Auseinandersetzung mit zukünftigen Technologien und sorgt
für eine weitere Optimierung von Produktideen. Das Ergebnis sind innovative Produkte, die Standards setzen.

Qualität wird gelebt. Die Produkte werden während der gesamten Prozesskette einem permanenten Qualitätsmonitoring unterzogen. Während der Produktion, in der Eingangskontrolle bis zur verkaufsfertigen Verpackung
sind die Produkte mehreren Testverfahren unterworfen. In den eigenen Prüfeinrichtungen, wie Kältekammer
und Beregnungsanlage, werden die Produkte extremen Bedingungen ausgesetzt. Kälte, Hitze, Stoßfestigkeit
und Wasserdichtigkeit werden nach strikten Standards geprüft.
Quality is SIGMA‘s way of life. The products are put through a permanent quality monitoring process during the
entire process chain. The products are subjected to several test processes during production and incoming inspection, through to packaging ready for sale. The products are exposed to extreme conditions in our own testing
facilities such as the cold chamber and the rain system. Cold, heat, shock resistance and waterproofing are tested
according to strict standards.

Praktisch und einfach in der Anwendbarkeit zeigen sich zum Beispiel die von den eigenen Ingenieuren entwickelte
FSB - Fast Setting Box sowie das mobile handliche Computer Diagnostic Center – CDC. Darüber hinaus steht für
den schnellen Support Händlern und Verbrauchern ein kompetentes und motiviertes Team an Mitarbeitern im
Service zur Verfügung.
The retail outlets are supplied with helpful tools for testing and setting of the equipment.
Their practical and simple use can be demonstrated, for example, with the FSB Fast Setting Box, developed by
own engineers, or with mobile, convenient CDC Computer Diagnostic Center. A competent and motivated team
of service staff is also available to give fast support to retailers and users.

Their daily responsibility is to react quickly
to customer orders and to ensure a high
degree of delivery availability. The infrastructure for demanding goods management is
based on efficiently organized high-bay warehousing and the latest computer technology.
From goods incoming through order picking
to dispatch the goods follow an optimized
path. The processes are organized from the
smallest quantities to the largest orders and
absolutely satisfy demands for customer-oriented solutions.

Im Jahr 1982 stellt die bis dato in der Branche völlig
unbekannte Firma SIGMA Elektro auf der IFMA einen
Tachometer unter dem Namen Cyclecoach vor. Besonderes Merkmal dieses Produktes ist die neuartige elektronische Funktionsweise mit digitaler Anzeige. Vielfältige
Funktionen bis hin zur Pulsmessung (mit Ohrclip) sind
hiermit möglich. Der Begriff des „Fahrrad-Computers“
wird geboren. Die allgemein positive Resonanz schlägt
sich leider nicht in den Absätzen nieder.
In 1982 the previously totally unknown company SIGMA
Elektro presented a speedometer with the name Cyclecoach at the IFMA.This product’s particular characteristic
was the new kind of electronic function with a digital display.
This enables multiple functions right through to heart rate
measurement (with an ear clip). The term “bike computer”
was born. The generally positive response was not, unfortunately, reflected in sales.

Die Steigerung des Absatzes und der Anspruch nach effizienter Logistik für unsere Kunden im In- und Ausland erfordern größere Räumlichkeiten. Der Umzug in die Heimat nach
Neustadt, in ein neues modernes Gebäude, findet statt. Die
bescheidenen 800 m² Fläche steigen auf aktuell 5.000 m².
Neue Abteilungen wie Marketing, Produkt-Management und
Technik werden geschaffen. Eine neue Ära beginnt.
Increased turnover and demand for more efficient logistics
for our customers at home and abroad called for larger premises. The move was made to Neustadt, to a new, modern
building. The modest 800 m² floor area has now increased
to 5,000 m². New departments such as Marketing, Product

2005 verlegt das Unternehmen seinen Sitz
nach Chicago, um Logistik und Kommunikation

Product diversification started in 1997 with the introduction of battery lights.
The front and rear lights developed in compliance with
German law are a great success and receive many awards.
The products are equipped with a click mounting system
