Invitation to FIS Telemark World Championships 2015
The Yampa Valley and Ski Town USA welcome you to the Telemark World
Championships in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We are a ranching and mining
community that is blessed with Champagne Powder and great tree skiing. The
Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club has produced 79 Olympians and hundreds
of US Ski Team members. This winter the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club
is celebrating its 101th year as the oldest ski club in the western United States. We
are looking forward to hosting this year’s World Championships!

FIS WC package at 100CHF per night, (700CHF for entire event) includes: lodging, meals, lift
tickets, credentials for those listed on FIS entry form from arrival and dinner on February 22nd
through departure and breakfast on February 28th. Any athletes who find their own
accommodations will be reimbursed 5CHF/day by the organizer at the end of the race series.
Any lodging before or after may not be available for the above discounted price, please contact
the Lodging Coordinator to arrange additional accommodations. Meals will be on your own.
Extra and early training will be available for individuals and teams with the SSWSC/USTSA

Awards following conclusion of each day’s competition on the Steamboat Ski Area’s Stage at
the base of the Mountain or on the podium outside the Howelsen Hill Lodge for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
place for both men and women.
Waxing/tuning: limited at Wyndham Properties and Nordic Lodge, additional shared benches
available at Howelsen Hill Lodge.
