INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
Under the Federation Cynologique Internationale and the Clube Português de Canicultura regulations, open to dogs
of every officialy recognized breed and variety, registered in a studbook or appendix to the studbook (waiting list)
recognized by the FCI.
With the attribution of the C.A.C. of the Clube Português de Canicultura.
With the attribution of the C.A.C.I.B. of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale.

LISBOA WINNER 2015
The Best Baby in Breed (Melhor Bebé da Raça), will be awarded a "LISBOA BABY WINNER 2015" diploma.
The Best Puppy in Breed (Melhor Cachorro da Raça), will be awarded a "LISBOA PUPPY WINNER 2015" diploma.
The dogs and bitches entered in this show in the Junior, Intermediate, Open, Working, Champion or Veteran class,
that win the Best of Breed (Prémio de Raça) certificate, will be awarded a "LISBOA WINNER 2015" diploma.
The diplomas will be delivered at the CPC office after 23:00h.

"CRUFTS 2016" QUALIFIER
The dogs and bitches of breeds recognized by The Kennel Club entered at the 125th Lisbon International Dog
Show that are awarded Excelent 1st in Junior Class or the CACIB, will be qualified to enter Crufts 2015.

VETERINARY SERVICE
Veterinary inspection itinerant during the show.
The veterinary inspection is itinerant and is performed in a random fashion.
In Portugal there are no quarantine rules for dogs arriving from abroad or from any Community State. However, a
PET PASSPORT for dogs from EU members or a HEALTH CERTIFICATE for dogs from non EU countries, with an antirabies Vaccination Certificate is required and the vaccination should have been performed, within the year before the
date of show. Vaccination against the main dog diseases must have been made more than eight days before the
show.
Dogs coming from abroad must be identified either electronically or by tatto according to the legislation of the
country of origin.
Dangerous or potentially dangerous dogs (American Staffordshire Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Rottweiller,
Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Tosa) that enter the portuguese territory for a period of time of less than 4 months,
must have proof of registration on the country of origin and subscribe a statement of responsability in a form
supplied by the portuguese veterinary authority (DGAV - www.dgav.pt).
IMPORTANT
Exhibitors should take note of the following legal rules which apply in Portugal (Decree-Law 276/2001, of 17
October):
“(…) Article 17
Surgical procedures
Surgical procedures, in particular tail docking in dogs, must be carried out by a veterinary surgeon.
Article 18
Amputations
1 – Keepers of pet animals who present them with any amputations which alter their appearance or for non-curative
purposes are required to possess a document, issued by the veterinary surgeon who carried out the amputation,
certifying that this procedure was necessary, indicating in particular that it was effected for veterinary reasons, or in
the particular interest of the animal or to prevent it from breeding.
2 – The document referred to in the preceding paragraph shall consist of a certificate issued and signed by the
veterinary surgeon, indicating his (her) professional license number.
3 – Keepers of imported animals which present any of the amputations referred to in paragraph 1 are required to
possess a document certifying that the amputation was necessary, issued by the veterinary surgeon who carried out
the procedure, authenticated by the relevant authorities in the country in question (…)”
Exhibitors are advised that the Organisers will make arrangements to ensure compliance with the legal requirements,
and should bring the documents needed to comply with Portuguese legislation.
