Once again the CPC has taken the responsibility to organize an important Fédération
Cynologique Internationale event on our country.
After the great success achieved in 2008, in Lisboa, once more the Mediterranean Sub-Section
of the FCI's European Section, gathering the countries of mediterranean culture, has chosen
us to host their annual Winner show where the official title of "MEDITERRANEAN WINNER"
is disputed.
This annual party, besides promoting the meeting and exchage of ideas between exhibitors of
this geographical area, will also be an event where other titles will be disputed, like "Porto
Winner 2015" and "Crufts 2016 Qualifier", the Iberian Championship Point, two CACIBs e o
the important Portuguese Championship Qualifier Point of the CPC.
This important event will be held in Oporto at the Exponor, the same place we organized the
World Dog Show in 2001 and home to all the events that we organize this time of the year.
For this important weekend we have invited a very prestigious panel of international judges,
all of great dog knowledge, that make a very attractive program to all the exhibitors coming
from several FCI countries.
We will be here to welcome you, with our warmth, our traditional hospitality, "our" very
special Mediterranean culture, allied to the art of hosting of our Northern People, and to
make you feel at home, at our home, at the beautiful "Cidade Invicta", where their visitors
part with nostalgia and always with the desire to return.

INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
Organized by Clube Português de Canicultura.
Under the Federation Cynologique Internationale and the Clube Português de Canicultura regulations, open to
dogs of every officialy recognized breed and variety, registered in a studbook or appendix to the studbook (waiting
list) recognized by the FCI.
With the attribution of the C.A.C. of the Clube Português de Canicultura.
With the attribution of the C.A.C.I.B. of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale.

WARNINGS
It is strictly forbidden to sell animals in the show.
The exhibitors are responsible for safeguarding the welfare of the dog at a dog show.
It is forbidden to put the dog in a situation that can be dangerous for its health and welfare, such as
leaving the dog in the car in hot or cold weather and/or treating the dog in a cruel manner.
The exhibitors are responsible for collecting the droppings of their animals on the show ground.
It is strictly forbidden to put crates and tables alongside the rings. Exhibitors must use the clearly
marked grooming areas.
For every case not mentioned in the programme, the CPC Shows Regulation (Regulamento das Exposições
Caninas e Concursos de Beleza) applies.

MEDITERRANEAN WINNER 2015
Dogs entered in the 80th Norte International Show / Mediterranean Winner 2015, held on 17-01-2015, will
compete for the following titles:
The “BABY MEDITERRANEAN WINNER 2015” title will be given to the best dog and the best bitch with the
qualification of "1st Very Good", entered in the Baby Class.
The “PUPPY MEDITERRANEAN WINNER 2015” title will be given to the best dog and the best bitch with the
qualification of "1st Very Good", entered in the Puppy Class.
The “JUNIOR MEDITERRANEAN WINNER 2015” title will be given to the best dog and the best bitch that were
awarded the CCJ.
The “MEDITERRANEAN WINNER 2015” title will be given to the best dog and the best bitch that were awarded
the CACIB.
The “VETERAN MEDITERRANEAN WINNER 2015” title will be given to the best dog and the best bitch with the
qualification of "1st Excelent", entered in the Veteran Class.
The diplomas certifying these titles will be delivered at the CPC office after 17:00h at a cost of €10.
The "Champion of Portugal (CH PT)" title will be awarded in each breed to the dog and to the bitch that
will obtain the CAC in intermediate, open or working classes providing that they already have an
homologated title of Beauty Champion from a FCI recognised country (the official title copy must be
enclosed with the entry form). This is only valid for the Mediterranean Winner Show on 17-01-2015.
"CRUFTS 2016" QUALIFIER
The dogs and bitches of breeds recognized by The Kennel Club entered at the 80th Norte International Dog
Show that are awarded Excelent 1st in Junior Class or the CACIB, will be qualified to enter Crufts 2016.
VETERINARY SERVICE
Veterinary inspection itinerant during the show.
The veterinary inspection is itinerant and is processed in a random fashion.
In Portugal there are no quarantine rules for dogs arriving from abroad or from any Community State. However, a
PET PASSPORT for dogs from EU members or a HEALTH CERTIFICATE for dogs from non EU countries, with an
anti-rabies Vaccination Certificate is required and the vaccination should have been performed, within the year
before the date of show. Vaccination against the main dog diseases must have been made more than eight days
before the show.
Dogs coming from abroad must be identified either electronically or by tatto according to the legislation of the
country of origin.
Dangerous or potentially dangerous dogs (American Staffordshire Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro,
Rottweiller, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Tosa) that enter the portuguese territory for a period of time of less than
4 months, must have proof of registration on the country of origin and subscribe a statement of responsability in a
form supplied by the portuguese veterinary authority (DGAV).

following titles:
Dogs awarded the Best Baby in Breed (Melhor Bebé da Raça), will obtain the "BABY PORTO WINNER 2015"
title.
Dogs awarded the Best Puppy in Breed (Melhor Cachorro da Raça), will obtain the "PUPPY PORTO WINNER
2015" title.
Dogs awarded the Best in Breed (Prémio de Raça), will obtain the "PORTO WINNER 2015" title.
