Needed for future packets:
o Extension section from State Specialists did not follow the guidelines for an
extension program – guidance should be considered in future years
o Many formatting issues:
Faculty should number lists of publications and lectures
Summarize publications for each sections
Delete instructions and “track changes”
Faculty should adhere to page and word limits
o Use hyperlinks to access specific sections in the packets
o Unit leaders should be more explicit in describing anomalies in the packet
o Unit leaders should STRONGLY encourage faculty to attend T&P training
o Committee found that packets that followed the guidelines were easier to
assess
o Would be helpful to have candidates to describe the unique aspects of their
position in their packets.
