PRIORITY FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS
• Portugal has one of the best mobile infrastructure 3G/4G and optical
fiber (FTTH) in the world.
• Portugal is a reference in e-Government (world top 3)
• More than 3M Portuguese will buy more than € 3B over the internet
in 2015. In the world there are already 1.1B buyers to spending more
than $2T.
• However, most Portuguese companies are not using the potential of
the digital revolution in their business.
• There is still a huge opportunity for Portuguese companies to benefit
from e-commerce “cross- border"
• P2020 European Funds provided over €12B to increase productivity,
competitiveness and internationalization of companies until 2020 .
