Organic Cotton steht für Baumwolle aus 100% kontrolliert biologischem Anbau (kbA). Sie wird in kontrolliert biologischen Landwirtschaftssystemen unter Einhaltung strenger Richtlinien produziert und händisch
gepflückt. Organic Cotton Produzenten garantieren
soziale Mindeststandards, ausreichende Entlohnung
und menschenwürdige Arbeitsbedingungen. Auf den
Einsatz von Pestiziden und Kunstdünger wird gänzlich verzichtet. In der Vorbehandlung kommen keine
Chlorverbindungen, keine optischen Aufheller und
keine chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen zum
Einsatz. Alles vom Anbau bis zur fertigen Bettdecke ist
100% kontrolliert ökologisch.
Organic Cotton is defined as cotton derived from
100% certified organic agriculture (“coa“). The cotton
is grown using controlled agricultural methods that
comply with strict regulations and is picked by hand.
Organic Cotton producers guarantee that minimum
social standards are met, that wages are adequate and
working conditions are socially acceptable. Pesticides
and artificial fertilisers are completely avoided. The cotton is not pretreated with chlorine compounds, optical
brighteners or chlor inated hydrocarbon compounds.
Every stage of production, from cultivation to the finished quilt, is controlled as 100% organic.

HEFEL Bio-Linen Bettdecken sind wie geschaffen für einen tiefen, natürlichen Schlaf auch
bei höheren Temperaturen. Die Füllung
besteht aus 70% Leinen (kbA) und 30%
Organic-Cotton (kbA) aus kontrolliert
biologischem Anbau. Leinen, die „Seide des Nordens“, kann mehr als ein
Drittel ihres Gewichtes an Feuchtigkeit
aufnehmen, ohne sich feucht anzufühlen, trocknet aber sehr schnell wieder.
HEFEL Bio-Linen wirkt daher vor allem
in Sommernächten angenehm frisch.
