LIOPUR PFL 3046 Characteristics: aqueous aliphatic polyurethane dispersion based on an oleochemical polyester, Surfactant- and TEA-free Supplied as: 34% in water Properties: appearance transparent to colloidal non-volatile content (as supplied) (in-house method AV-F-F003) 34 +/-2% pH-value (as supplied) (in-house method AV-F-P001) 7.0-9.0 viscosity in mPas (as supplied) (in-house methode AV-F-V005) 30-750 organic solvents max. 0,5% acetone Minimum film forming temperature < 20°C Properties and fields of use: Liopur PFL 3046 does not need any amount of cosolvents for film formation. Coatings based on Liopur PFL 3046 form tack-free, transparent films with medium surface hardness after air drying with good flexibility and elasticity. Liopur PFL 3046 exhibits very good water resistance and good ethanol resistance. The dispersion is recommended for combination with Liocryl acrylic emulsions. Liopur PFL 3046 is suitable for plastics coatings due to its polymer composition. Coatings based on Liopur PFL 3046 have the following Zwick material testing characteristics after 4 days drying at room temperature (initial force 1 N, testing speed 100 mm/min): Tear strength Elongation at break Storage: approx. 8 N/mm2 approx. 500 % The dispersion should be stored in tightly closed containers, protected from frost.
