Die BRABUS Aerodynamikteile für den Mercedes SLK der R 171 Baureihe verleihen dem
Roadster nicht nur eine noch aufregendere Optik: Frontspoiler, Heckschürze und die Abrißkante für den Kofferraumdeckel erhielten ihren aerodynamischen Feinschliff im Windkanal.
Durch eine Reduktion der Auftriebskräfte an der Vorderachse um 87 Prozent und um 33
Prozent an der Hinterachse wird auch die Fahrstabilität bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten optimiert. Gleichzeitig verbessern die BRABUS Aerodynamikkomponenten den cW-Wert.
Der BRABUS Frontspoiler verleiht dem Zweisitzer ein noch markanteres Gesicht. Die vier
BRABUS Zusatzscheinwerfer werden mit maßgeschneiderten Einsätzen mit integrierten
Bremskühlschächten in den Serienstoßfänger integriert und verbessern die Ausleuchtung der
Fahrbahn.
Die BRABUS Seitenschweller lassen den Zweisitzer tiefer und gestreckter wirken und können
auf Wunsch auch mit einem interessanten Feature geliefert werden: Durch einen Druck auf die
Fernbedienung des Fahrzeugs oder durch das Ziehen der Türgriffe werden die an der
Unterseite integrierten Einstiegsleuchten aktiviert. So wird der Boden seitlich neben dem SLK
beleuchtet, womit das Ein- und Aussteigen bei Dunkelheit sicherer wird.
Die Heckpartie wird durch die tief nach unten gezogene BRABUS Schürze und die diskrete
BRABUS Spoilerlippe auf dem Kofferraumdeckel markanter akzentuiert.

auch die BRABUS Monoblock Leichtmetallfelgen, die in verschiedenen Designs in ein- oder
mehrteiliger Bauweise in 17, 18 oder 19 Zoll Durchmesser angeboten werden.
Als größte Rad/Reifenkombination für den neuen Mercedes SLK BRABUS Monoblock VI, E und
S Räder in den Dimensionen 8.5Jx19 vorne und 9.5Jx19 auf der Hinterachse zur Verfügung.
Für die Bereifung empfiehlt BRABUS Hochleistungspneus von YOKOHAMA oder Pirelli in den
Größen 225/35 ZR 19 auf der Vorderachse und 255/30 ZR 19 hinten.
Passend zur Umrüstung auf sportliche Niederquerschnittsreifen ist ein komfortabel abgestimmtes BRABUS Sportfahrwerk mit Gasdruckstoßdämpfern und linearen Federn lieferbar,
mit dem der Zweisitzer um bis zu drei Zentimeter tiefergelegt wird. Alternativ gibt es auch
BRABUS Sportfedern, die auf die Serienstoßdämpfer abgestimmt sind.
Selbstverständlich bietet BRABUS auch für den neuen SLK Hochleistungsbremsanlagen in
zwei verschiedenen Versionen an. In der größten Version kommen an der Vorderachse
6-Kolben-Aluminium-Festsättel und 355 Millimeter große, innenbelüftete und geschlitzte
Scheiben zum Einsatz. An der Hinterachse werden 300 Millimeter große Scheiben und
4-Kolben-Aluminium-Festsättel installiert. Spezielle Stahlflex-Bremsleitungen garantieren
einen stets stabil hohen Bremsdruck.

BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels also contribute heavily to the sporty appearance of the
SLK from Bottrop. They are available in various designs as one-piece or multi-piece rims with
17-, 18- and 19-inch diameters.
The largest possible tire/wheel combination on the new Mercedes SLK are BRABUS Monoblock
VI, E and S wheels in sizes 8.5Jx19 in front and 9.5Jx19 on the rear axle. BRABUS recommends
high-performance tires from YOKOHAMA or Pirelli in size 225/35 ZR 19 on the front axle and in
size 255/30 ZR 19 in the back.
An available comfortable BRABUS sport suspension with gas-pressure shocks and linear sport
springs is the perfect match for these sporty low-profile tires. The sport suspension lowers ride
height of the two-seater by two to three centimeters. Alternatively BRABUS offers a set of sport
springs calibrated to the production shocks.
And of course BRABUS offers two high-performance brake systems for the new SLK, too. The
largest version features six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 355-mm (14.0 in.) vented and
slotted discs on the front axle. The rear axle is fitted with 300-mm (11.8 in.) discs and fourpiston aluminum fixed calipers. Flex-steel brake lines provide constantly high brake pressure.
