With NuBON Easy Checkout, bricks-andmortar retailers are optimising the complexity of their checkout processes and
are thus reducing waiting times for their
customers.
Process optimisation at the POS
With just one form of identification and
without any media disruptions, the Easy
Checkout processes digital customer
loyalty cards, redeemable mobile coupons,
mobile payments and the creation of
digital receipts.
The technical implementation on the retailer’s side takes place via a direct interface
connection to the checkout system. Various
system providers have already integrated
the NuBON interface for this purpose.

With this link, NuBON is significantly optimising its digital services checkout procedures. Long processing times – which are often

Added value for the customer
NuBON users receive their receipt in electronic form on their smartphone from retail
partners. In addition, paper-based receipts
can be digitised using optical character
recognition (OCR), and online receipts can
also be added to the summary. Customers
therefore benefit from centralised receipt
archiving and a better overview of spending. They become brand ambassadors
through the integration of social networks
and share their product experiences with
friends and communities.

Mobile Payment
With NuBON, retailers are establishing
new ways of paying without cash. In conjunction with the Easy Checkout, bricksand-mortar retailers are benefiting from
the bundling of various digital customer
services and from more efficient checkout
processes.
Established means of payment
NuBON makes established PIN-secured
payment methods available such as credit
card payment and SEPA direct debit, as
well as other mobile payment methods.
These methods are connected by leading,
certified payment service providers (PSP)
that comply with internationally applicable security standards. Retailers also have
the option of using their existing acquirers.
Secure and fast
Customer-side identification takes place
using a QR code or a TAN in the NuBON
checkout. The customer does not incur
any fees. It can’t get any more convenient
– for the customer or the retailer.

Self Checkout
Better customer service
The Mobile Self Checkout feature from
NuBON allows bricks-and-mortar retailers
to gain clear competitive advantages. A
scan option integrated into the NuBON app
means that, already before the checkout
process, the customer can scan the item
and pay on the go. Retailers do not need
any separate scanner hardware. Besides reduced costs for retailers, this means shorter
waiting times and a higher level of service
for the customer – in both the discount
and premium segments.
