Dan Morrison
Sixteen years coaching experience at the Division I-A level. Helped lead two college program turn arounds
resulting in eleven total bowl game appearances including one Bowl Championship Series bowl game
appearance. An expert at executing the explosive Run-and-Shoot offense with more than 20-years
experience in that system. Coached two all-time NCAA career passing leaders. Division I-A quarterbacks
coached hold a combined 28 NCAA records. Previous dean of students at one of the nation’s premier
private academic institutions. Master’s degree in counseling psychology.

Carlos Barocio
Carlos Barocio-Leon will serve on Coach Justin Carrigan’s inaugural staff as Special Teams Coordinator and
running back coach in 2015.
Prior to his hiring at UTPB, Carlos Barocio-Leon was an assistant coach at SMU from 2008-2014. He served
as Special Teams Coordinator for the Mustangs from 2013-2014. Barocio-Leon spent the 2012 season as
Coordinator of Quality Control (Offense) and previously served as offensive graduate assistant and video
graduate assistant. Barocio-Leon came to SMU from Texas College, where he served as the Offensive
Coordinator and quarterbacks coach, helping the Steers claim the CSFL Championship in 2005.
