All transactions generated in the framework of the position transfer will be marked by the entry “LCH transfer“ in the customer field (e.g. „custText“ in the report CB010) and these will, hence, differ from other transactions on this day in this. ECC will inform you and the Non-Clearing Members of the operative completion of the position transfer by e-mail. Subsequent to that, the new positions can be retrieved and checked in the EUREX system. We would like to ask you to carry out said check as soon as possible and to inform us of any possible deviations forthwith. If required, ECC will carry out a correction of the variation margin on 15 June 2007. Deviations can arise on account of rounding differences between the LCH settlement prices on a monthly basis and the prices on a yearly, quarterly or monthly basis used in the position transfer. With regard to this ECC will make the following reports available for you on the file server on the ECC web site: • JJJJMMDD_Summary_Report_CM_XYZEX.csv for every CM containing all the assigned NCMs, incl. the total line per NCM and CM • JJJJMMDD_Contract_Value_LCH_CM_XYZEX.csv for every CM containing all the assigned NCMs, incl. the total line as per every TradID, per NCM and CM ECC will settle the differences established in a sum per clearing member by means of the EUREX transactions “297 Miscellaneous member cash debits“ or “298 Miscellaneous member cash credits“ on 18 June 2007. Margin parameters: The Additional Margin Parameters regarding Dutch Power Futures established by ECC were published in the ECC Clearing Information No. 5/2007 of this day and will be adjusted in the EUREX simulation environment shortly. At this point, we would like to draw your attention specifically to the new margin group of ECQY for all quarter and year contracts regarding power, which will go into effect as of 14 June 2007, once again. 3 European Commodity Clearing AG | Copyright 2007 – All rights reserved | Furnishing of margins for Dutch Power Futures: The transferred positions in Dutch Power Futures will already be included in the intra-day risk monitoring of ECC on 14 June 2007. However, ECC assumes that the effects from the position transfer and the launch of the new margin group will set off one another. If a shortage arises in spite of this, ECC will call corresponding intra-day margins. For this reason, we would like to ask you to submit sufficient margins to ECC as early as on the preceding day. BoM settlement / Cascading file: As of July 2007, ECC will carry out settlement of physical fulfilment of the Dutch Power Month Futures. The starting date for BoM settlement is 28 June 2007. The cascading file for ENDEX products which is provided in the download area of the ECC web site contains all the data regarding the daily reduction of the contract volume of the Dutch Power Baseload Month Futures (F4BM) and Dutch Power Peakload Month Futures (F4XM) during the delivery month. Simulation: The Dutch Power Futures are included in the EUREX simulation environment and are available for you for testing purposes. Moreover, ECC will carry out a realistic end-to-end test of the position transfer together with ENDEX on 5 June 2007. In case you have any questions, we are, of course, at your disposal under our hotline at +49 (0) 341 24680 444.
