Cabezo de La Guardia. Alcorisa
Ya en Andorra encontramos el poblado de El Cabo. La peculiaridad
de este yacimiento radica en que
fue necesario su traslado, piedra a
piedra, ante el avance de las actividades mineras que amenazaban su
conservación. En su ubicación actual, además de disfrutar de los restos originales reconstruidos,
encontramos un centro de presentación que muestra el proceso de
traslado.
The settlement El Cabo can be
visited in Andorra.The peculiarity
of this site is that it had to be
removed, stone after stone, due to
the mining activities, whose
advance threatened its
conversation. At its actual location,
apart from the possibility of
visiting the original rebuilt remains,
there is an exhibition centre
where the removal process is
shown.
En Alcañiz podremos disfrutar de
tres importantes yacimientos, los de
El Palao, El Taratrato y El Cascarujo, todos ellos situados en las
proximidades de esta localidad.
Además, no podemos dejar de acercarnos al Centro de Visitantes de la
ciudad, donde se exponen interesantes conjuntos cerámicos,
escultóricos y piezas funerarias de
época ibera.
In Alcañiz there are three
important sites: El Palao, El
Taratrato and El Cascarrujo. All of
them are situated near this village.
Visiting the Guests´ Centre is also
a must.There are ceramics,
sculpture and tombstones
exhibited.
La última etapa nos llevará a la localidad de Calaceite, cuna del arqueólogo Juan Cabré. Su museo
incluye piezas únicas donadas por la
familia, tales como los primeros
calcos de las pinturas rupestres descubiertas en la zona, óleos y dibujos o el equipo fotográfico
utilizado en sus primeras campañas
arqueológicas.
For our last phase of the tour, we
will visit Calanda, the archaeologist
Juan Cabré´s birthplace. At the
museum, which was built on his
honour, travellers could visit
unique works donated by his
family (for instance, his first
spitting images of the cave painting
discovered on this area, as well as
oils and drawings and even its
photograph tools, used during his
first excavations).

En esta ruta turística recorreremos
el Bajo Aragón Histórico, región
formada por pueblos cargados historia, patrimonio cultural y natural, lo que hace de esta parte de la
provincia de Teruel un destino turístico de primer orden lleno de encantos que no dejarán indiferente al
visitante.
Comenzando por el patrimonio
construido, en esta ruta tenemos la
oportunidad de disfrutar de impo140
nentes cascos urbanos declarados
conjuntos Histórico-Artístico, tales
como los de Valderrobres, Beceite y
Calaceite, por citar algunos. Destacan los ejemplos de arquitectura
gótica civil y religiosa, especialmente los castillos de Alcañiz o Valderrobres y las iglesias de La
Ginebrosa o La Cañada de Verich,
junto con innumerables muestras
de arquitectura palaciega de época
moderna presentes en prácticamente todos los municipios del territorio. Igualmente destacables son
los ejemplos de arquitectura popular, siendo muchos los municipios
que aún cuentan con sus antiguos
neveros de origen medieval, con
molinos harineros como el de Mas
de las Matas u hornos de pan como
el de La Cañada de Verich.
Reseñables son las celebraciones
festivas de estas tierras, reflejo de
antiguas tradiciones de origen agrario, religioso o simplemente popular, tales como las fiestas de San
Antón en Estercuel, La Fresneda o

across the Historic Bajo Aragón.
This is a region composed by
villages with great history, cultural
and natural heritage.This is the
reason why this part of the
province of Teruel became one
important tourism destination, full
of charming places which leave no
one indifferent.
The visit will start at the built
heritage.We can enjoy different
historic city centre declared
Historic Artistic Site, such as the
Valderrobles, Beceite and
Calaceite ones, among others.The
Religious and civil Gothic
architecture samples, especially
the Alcañiz or Valderrobre´s castle,
and the churches of La Ginebrosa
or La Cañada de Verich deserve
special mention, as well as lot of
other examples of Palace
architecture of the Modern era,
which can be found on most of
the local municipalities.The
examples of popular architecture
are also very important.There are
lots of municipalities where the
antiques nénés of Medieval origin,
with flour mills such as the one in

El Bajo Aragón Histórico también
cuenta con una completa red de
espacios museísticos y centros de
interpretación dedicados a fomentar el conocimiento de las principales representaciones patrimoniales y
culturales de esta tierra. Así, podremos encontrarnos con centros paleontológicos como Inhóspitak, en
Peñarroya de Tastavins; museos dedicados a la riqueza arqueológica
de estas tierras, como es el Museo
Juan Cabré de Calaceite; o espacios
culturales como el Centro Luís

The Historical Bajo Aragón
benefits also of a complete
network of exhibitions areas, and
an Interpretation Centre aiming at
knowledge’s promotion of the
main heritage and cultural
exhibitions of this region.This is
one of the reasons why Inhóspitak
can be found in Peñarroya de
Tastavins. Inhóspitak is one of the
palaeontology centre, museum
exhibition the archaeological
wealth of the region, such as the
one that can be found at Juan
Cabré Museum in Calaceite, or
cultural areas such as the Luis
Buñuel Centre, in Calanda, which
is dedicated not only to the work
but also to the person itself of this
universal person native of Teruel.

La ruta atraviesa las comarcas de
Bajo Martín, Bajo Aragón y Matarraña, ofreciendo a aquellos que
sigan el trazado del antiguo ferrocarril que unía el valle del Ebro
con la costa tarraconense, la posibilidad de disfrutar de variados paisajes, pueblos con encanto y un
variado patrimonio cultural que incluye desde el arqueológico hasta el
arquitectónico o paleontológico
Prueba de la ancestral ocupación
humana de este territorio son los
importantes yacimientos arqueológicos de época ibero-romana, destacando el Cabezo de Alcalá, en
Azaila, o el asentamiento de San
Antonio, en Calaceite. En esta última localidad también podemos
visitar el museo dedicado al arqueólogo Juan Cabré, una de las figuras más relevantes de la historia
de la arqueología española.
Del patrimonio arquitectónico so-

bresale, por su singularidad, la arquitectura gótica levantina, con
ejemplos como las iglesias de Arens
de Lledó y Torre del Compte, o los
castillos de Albalate del Arzobispo,
Valderrobres y Alcañiz, este último

This route invites people to visit
the Bajo Martín, Bajo Aragón and
Matarraña counties. It offers the
possibility of enjoy different
landscapes´ sights, charming
villages and a varied cultural
heritage to those travelling
through the old railway between
the Ebro basin and the coast of
Tarragona. Its cultural heritage
includes archaeological,
architectonic and palaeontology
heritage. A proof of the ancestral
human occupancy of this region is
the important Iberian – Roman
archaeological sites. Among these
sites, the Cabezo de Alcalá, in
Azaila, and the settlement of San
Antonio, in Calaceite, deserve
special mention. In Calaceite a
museum dedicated to the
archaeologist Juan Cabré, one of
the most relevant persons of the
Spanish archaeological history can
be visited.
The eastern Gothic architecture
stands out of the archaeological
heritage. Some of its examples are
the churches of Arenas de Lledó
and Torre del Compte, or the
castles in Albalate del Arzobiso,
Valderrobres and Alcañiz, who has
important wall paintings of the
same period. From the Medieval
period, arches, large fortified
towers and paintings deserve also
special mention. All these kinds of
fortification are widely found in
different municipalities, such as
Beceite, La Fresneda and Calaceite.
Finally, the civil constructions of
Renaissance style built during the
Modern era (such as Town
councils, castles – places in
Puente de la Torica.

Los amantes del patrimonio natural
encontrarán a lo largo de esta ruta
una variada riqueza paisajística y
natural que se traduce en llanuras
agrarias donde domina el olivo, la
viña y los campos de cereal, combinados con vegetación natural de
carácter mediterráneo y zonas esteparias allá donde la sequedad del
entorno resulta más extrema. Especialmente singulares son los paisajes
fluviales de ríos como el Guadalope, Algars o Matarraña, refugio
de multitud de especies vegetales y
animales, alguna de estas últimas en
serio peligro de desaparición, como
ocurre con la nutria, la garza real, el
martín pescador o el gato montes.
La paleta de paisajes se completa
con los entornos montañosos del
Alto Matarraña, donde destacan Los
Puertos de Beceite, espacio en el
que la caprichosa orografía, unida a
sus innumerables riquezas botánicas
y faunísticas le hace merecedor de
ser considerado uno de los espacios
naturales más destaacados de
España.
A los atractivos ya mencionados
hay que añadir la riqueza paleontológica existente en municipios
como Peñarroya de Tastavins,
donde podemos visitar Inhóspitak,

Jurásica. El centro incluye restos
originales y réplicas del Tastavinsaurio, saurópodo que habitó estas
tierras hace 110 millones de años y
que, con más de 17 metros de altura, constituye el más grande de
los hallados en España.

Natural heritage lovers will
discover on this route a landscape
and natural varied richness.They
will find agricultural plains,
dominated by a olive trees,
vineyards and crop surfaces,
together with natural vegetation
typical of Mediterranean weather
conditions and steppe areas where
dry climate is extreme. Especially
peculiar are the river landscapes
such as the Guadalope, Algars or
Matarraña ones.There, lots of
vegetal and animal species find
their refuges. Some of these
animal species, such as otters, grey
herons, kingfishers or wild cats,
are in danger of extinction.The
different kind of landscapes
includes also mountainous areas of
the Alto Matarraña, with the
important area of Los Puertos de
Beceite.This area has a special
orograph with countless botanic
and fauna richness.This is the
reason why it is considered one of
the most important natural areas
of Spain. Apart from the above
mentioned attractions, the
palaeontologic richness existing in
different municipalities such as
Peñarroya de Tastavins should also
be taken into consideration. Here,
we could visit Inhóspitak, a
headquarter of the palaeontologic
project “Dinopolis Jurassic Tour”.
This Centre includes original and
copy remains of the
Tastavinsaurius, a sauropod who
lived in this area 110 million years
before, and who was 17 metres
tall. It is the biggest Tastavinsaurus
found in Spain.

Ruta de los Guerrilleros
Esta ruta aprovecha los recorridos
del GR-8, para combinar los atractivos propios del senderismo con
los de entornos culturales e históricos que encontramos en el camino,
particularmente aquellos en los que
se mantiene la huella de las diferentes guerras y conflictos que han sufrido estas tierras a lo largo de la
historia, desde la Edad Media hasta
la Guerra Civil.
Comenzando por la Edad Media,
encontramos interesantes construc148
ciones de origen militar, como el
castillo-palacio de los FernándezHeredia, en Mora de Rubielos,
obra del siglo XIV de estilo gótico
levantino. Igualmente interesantes
son las fortalezas de Alcalá de la
Selva y Castellote. La primera es de
origen musulmán, mientras que la
segunda fue construida por la
orden del Temple. Además, son muchas las localidades que todavía
conservan restos de sus murallas,
portales y torreones defensivos,
siendo Mirambel el mejor de los
ejemplos, dado el excelente estado
de conservación que presenta todo
su casco urbano.
Uno de los periodos más convulso
de la historia de estas tierras fue la
Edad Moderna, marcada por la sublevación de la vecina Cataluña
contra Felipe IV y la Guerra de Sucesión. El centro de estos conflictos
era la lucha por la derogación de
los fueros y privilegios locales en
favor de la Corona, lo que se tradujo, en la construcción por parte

This route takes advantage of the
GR-8 (8 Big Routes). It mix the
own attractiveness of hiking
activities with the cultural and
historic environment. It takes
special advantage of those historic
environments where signs of
different wars and conflicts
occurred on these regions during
the history, from the Middle – Age
to the Spanish Civil War. Regarding
the Middle – Age, military –origin
constructions, such as the 18th
century eastern Gothic castle –
palace of the family Fernández
Heredia, located in Mora de
Rubielos can be found.
One of the most problematic
period of their history was the
Modern Age, marked by the
rebellion of the Community of
Cataluña against King Felipe IV, and
the Spanish War of Succession,
whose main point was the
intention to obtain the suspension
of local rights and privilege from
the Crown.This is the reason why
the local rich population built
great council houses, such as the
ones which visitors could see in
Valderrobres, Beceite or Calaceite.
These are a maintenance sign of a
power which disappeared when
the Borbón came to the throne.
During the Carlist wars, the
Matarraña and Maestrazgo areas
became an important front.The
figure of the General Cabrera, so
called “El Tigre del Maestrazgo”,
who led the rebellion in thisarea,
deserves a special mention. In
Cantavieja, the Carlist War
Museum can be visited.There,

de los poderes locales de imponentes casas consistoriales como las de
Valderrobres, Beceite o Calaceite,
símbolo del mantenimiento de un
poder que desaparecería con la llegada de los Borbones al trono.
Durante las Guerras Carlistas las
tierras del Matarraña y Maestrazgo
constituyeron un importante frente,
destacando la figura del General
Cabrera, “El Tigre del Maestrazgo”,
quien encabezó la sublevación en
esta parte de la provincia. En Cantavieja podemos visitar el Museo de
las Guerras Carlistas, donde se relata su historia, mientras que en
Beceite encontramos las ruinas de
una de sus fortalezas, hoy conocida
como el castillo de Cabrera.
Son innumerables los restos conservados de la Guerra Civil, especialmente en el municipio de Sarrión,
donde se han realizado importantes
labores de recuperación de trincheras, puestos de observación, nidos
de ametralladoras, etc. Por último,
hay que señalar la importancia que
tuvo en la década de 1940 el fenómeno de “El Maquis”, agrupaciones de guerrilleros que
aprovecharon las sierras turolenses
para continuar la lucha una vez terminada la guerra.

Civil War preserved, especially in

Finally, the importance of the
apparition of the so-called
guerrilla “El Maquis” on the 40s
should also be pointed out.They
were, as mentioned before,
guerrilla groups, which benefited
themselves of the mountainous
regions of Teruel to continue
fighting, when the war was already
over.

Orientada a empresas, la ruta constituye una oportunidad de disfrutar de las serranias turolenses de
Gúdar, Javalambre y Maestrazgo, un
entorno excepcional donde practicar el turismo rural de interior basado en el disfrute del patrimonio
natural, cultural y el cuidado de la
salud en los diferentes centros termales propuestos.
Los tres días de actividades comienzan en La Iglesuela del Cid, locali152
dad declarada conjunto HistóricoArtístico en 1982. De su rico patrimonio arquitectónico destaca la
Torre de los Nublos, de origen
templario, los restos de su muralla y
casas palaciegas como la llamada
Casa Grande. Además, en el entorno de la localidad existen también buenos ejemplos de pequeño
patrimonio como son puentes medievales, antiguos hornos o las características construcciones de
piedra seca.
Durante la tarde se realizarán juegos y actividades de “Outdoor Training”, que fomentan la motivación,
comunicación y trabajo en equipo
de los miembros de las empresas.
Todo ello en un marco natural diferente al de los centros de trabajo.
Para concluir la jornada, está previsto realizar juegos nocturnos. El
alojamiento está previsto en la Hospedería del Maestrazgo, ubicada en

Company orientated, this route is
an opportunity to enjoy the
mountainous region of Teruel,
specifically in Gúdar, Javalambre
and Maestrazgo. It is an
exceptional environment where
rural tourism, based on the
benefits of the natural and cultural
heritage and the healthcare
proposed in different watering
places can be practiced.
Our three days of activities start
in La Iglesuela del Cid, a village
declared Area of Historic or
Cultural Importance in 1982.The
Torre de los Nubles deserves a
special mention because of its
Templar rich architectural
heritage, as well as it is deserved
by its walls and palaces, such as
the so- called Casa Grande (Big
House). Moreover, on its
surroundings, there are also nice
examples of small heritage such as
Medieval bridges, old ovens or
characteristic constructions made
of dryer stones. During the
afternoon, we will play different
games and “Outdoor Training”
activities, to inspire motivation,
communication and team work
among employees. All these
activities will be developed in a
different environment, compared
with their work place.To end, we
will play different games during the
night.We will be allocated at
Hospedería del Maestrazgo, a
hostel located at the Plaza Mayor.
It is an excellent rural hostel
which is using an old gentleman’s
house of the family MatutanoDaudén. It is a magnificent
construction of the 17th century,
including an interesting baroque

la Plaza Mayor. Se trata de un excelente hotel rural ubicado en la casa
señorial Matutano-Daudén, un magnífico edificio del siglo XVIII,
con interesante decoración interior
barroca y uno de los mejores ejemplos de escalera imperial de todo
Aragón.
La mañana de la segunda jornada se
centrará en el desarrollo de actividades deportivas en el entorno de
la Virgen de la Vega, tales como
senderismo y tiro con arco.Tras
estas actividades disfrutaremos de
un picnic en plena naturaleza, para
luego desplazarnos al Hotel Virgen
de la Vega, donde pasaremos la
tarde disfrutando del circuito spa
que ofrece el hotel y que incluye
piscina, sauna y jacuzzi. La jornada
concluirá con una cena en el citado
hotel, para posteriormente realizar
una actividad de orientación nocturna.
Nuestra ruta por las sierras de
Gúdar, Javalambre y Maestrazgo
concluye en Manzanera, localidad
ubicada en la Sierra de Javalambre
destaca por ser uno de los destinos
termales más importantes de la provincia de Teruel. Sus aguas mineromedicinales, declaradas de utilidad
publica en 1929, pueden disfrutarse
en el Hotel Balneario El Paraíso, un
establecimiento con más de 75 años
de historia donde se combina la
tradición de los antiguos balnearios
de finales del s. XIX con los más
modernos tratamientos termales.

During the following morning, we
will practice different sport
activities at Virgen de la Vega, such
as hiking or archery. Afterwards,
we will be delighted by a picnic in
nature areas.Then, we will move
to Hotel Virgen de la Vega, where
we will enjoy our afternoon at the
hotel’s spa, where we can take a
bath in the swimming-pool or
relax ourselves at the sauna or
jacuzzi.
This route throughout Gúdar,
Javalambre and Maestrazgo will
came to it end in Manzanera, a
village located at the mountainous
region of Javalambre. It is an
important thermal destination of
the province of Teruel. Its waters
are mining- medicinal, and were
declared of public use in 1929.We
will benefit from them at the
Hotel and Spa El Paraíso built
more than 75 years ago, where old
tradition of watering places of the
19th century are combined with
the most modern thermal
treatments.

Dirigida a estudiantes de Grado
Medio, la ruta propone el disfrute
del patrimonio cultural y natural de
las Comarcas de Gúdar- Javalambre
y Maestrazgo, además de un completo paquete de actividades deportivas y de turismo de aventura.
Cantavieja es punto de origen de la
ruta.Tanto por su pasado histórico,
como por su patrimonio arquitectónico y natural, Cantavieja resulta uno de los destinos más
atractivos del Maestrazgo Turolense.

En el área recreativa de esta localidad nos iniciaremos en actividades
tales como orientación, escalada o
tirolina.Tras la comida, en plena
naturaleza, y la visita al casco urbano de la localidad, la jornada
concluirá en la Escuela Hogar de
Cantavieja, donde se realizarán juegos nocturnos.
El segundo día de ruta comienza en
Valdelinares el municipio de España
situado a mayor altitud sobre el
nivel del mar, a 1.692 m. Las actividades de esta jornada las realizaremos en las pistas de esquí de la
citada localidad, un espacio único
donde practicar tiro con arco, circuito entre árboles, rutas a caballo
o Super- Jamper.Tras la comida, un
picnic en este mismo paraje, nos dirigiremos al pequeño municipio de
Gúdar, donde visitaremos uno de
los secaderos de jamones y embutidos donde se elabora el conocido
Jamón de Teruel. La jornada concluirá con la realización de diversas

Orientated to school students, this
route proposes the discovering of
the cultural and natural heritage of
the Gúdar-Javalambre and
Maestrazgo regions, as well as a
full package of sport activities and
adventure tourism.
The route starts in Cantavieja, one
of the most attractive destinations
of the Maestrazgo of Teruel thanks
to its historical past and its
architectural and natural heritage.
On the leisure area of this village,
we will practice orientation,
climbing or tyrolean crossing
activities. After lunch, we will move
to the Escuela Hogar de
Cantavieja (a rural house for
students) where we will play
different games during the night in
nature areas, enjoying the village
centre on the horizon.
On the second day of this route,
we will start our trip in
Valdelinares, the Spanish village
placed at the highest altitude over
the sea level, at 1,692 m.The
activities proposed for this day will
be realised at the ski resort of the
above mentioned village, an unique
place where archery, circuits
around trees, horse riding or
Super- Jumper can be practiced.
After our lunch, a picnic, we will
move to the small village of Gúdar,
where we will visit one of the ham
and cute cure drying place where
the popular ham of Teruel is
produced. During the night, we will
practice different activities and
play different games.

La tercera jornada comienza nuevamente en las pistas de esquí de Valdelinares, donde continuaremos
realizando actividades lúdico-deportivas, senderismo en este caso.
La ruta propuesta es la de la “Cruz
de la Gitana”, un trayecto de que

Mora de Rubielos, capital de la
Comarca de Gúdar-Javalambre. De
la riqueza patrimonial de esta localidad destaca el Castillo Palacio de
los Fernández Heredia, una joya del
gótico levantino (s. XIV), en excelente estado de conservación y del
que se pueden visitar sus estancias
interiores: salones, caballerizas,
mazmorras, etc. Además, Mora de
Rubielos cuenta cuanto una importante oferta de ocio. La cena y
el alojamiento están previstos en la
Masía La Pelarda, de Formiche Alto,
una típica construcción rural con
más de 200 años de antigüedad
ubicada en plena naturaleza.

instalaciones de la Masía Pelarda
para visitar su granja escuela, practicar tiro con arco o hacer un circuito BTT.Tras la cena, basada en

rural building built more than 200
years ago, placed in a very natural
environment.

Los municipios que vamos a visitar
posen un patrimonio cultural y ar160
quitectónico de primer orden,
abundando construcciones de
época medieval tales como castillos
y restos de fortificaciones urbanas.
Por su excepcional estado de conservación destacan elementos como
el castillo de Alcalá de la Selva, de
origen musulmán o los portales y
torreones de las antiguas murallas
de Rubielos de Mora y Manzanera,
por citar dos ejemplos. Igualmente
importante son los ejemplos de arquitectura civil de los siglos XVI,
XVII y XVIII. Se trata de palacios
renacentistas de estilo aragonés,
construidos por la floreciente burguesía local enriquecida gracias a
las actividades ganaderas y al comercio de la lana. En este sentido
deben destacarse los conjuntos arquitectónicos de Mora de Rubielos
y La Iglesuela del Cid.
Mención especial merece la oferta
expositiva y museística presente en

but especially to elder people, this
route will make us enjoy the
Gúdar, Javalambre and Maestrazgo
mountainous regions. It is an
exceptional landscape thanks to its
history, culture and tradition, as
well as for its architectural
heritage and, of course, to its
natural environment, which is
really well preserved.
The municipalities that we will
visit benefit from a very important
cultural and architectural heritage,
plenty of constructions built
during the medieval era. Castles
and remains of urban fortifications
are some examples.Thanks to its
exceptional conservation stage,
the Muslim castle of Alcalá de la
Selva or the entrance hall and
large fortified tower of the
antiques walls of Rubielos de Mora
and Manzanera, among others,
deserve special mention. Other
monuments of the civil
architecture built during the 16th,
17th and 18th centuries are also
important.These are Renaissance
palace of aragonese style, built for
the local prosperous bourgeoisie,
which became rich thanks to
livestock farming and wool trade.
On this subject, the architectural
assets of Mora de Rubielos and La
Iglesuela del Cid deserve also a
special mention.
The opportunity of visiting
exhibition rooms and museums in
theses village should also be taken

Dinópolis Ruta Jurásica. Se trata de
un espacio destinado a divulgar la
riqueza paleontológica de estas
sierras, muy especialmente en todo
lo concerniente a los importantes
yacimientos de ámbar aquí hallados.
Igualmente interesantes son el
Centro de Interpretación del Carlismo, en Cantavieja, o el museo de
arte contemporáneo Salvador Victoria, también en Rubielos de
Mora.
Las excepcionales condiciones ambientales de estas sierras permiten
la elaboración de exquisitos jamones y embutidos, por lo que una de
las actividades previstas en esta ruta
nos llevará a conocer alguno de los
secaderos de la comarca, donde se
nos mostraran los procesos artesanales con los que se elabora el
jamón de Teruel.
La mejor forma de finalizar nuestra
estancia en las Sierras de Gúdar, Javalambre y Maestrazgo es disfrutar
de los tratamientos termales que
ofrece el balneario El Paraíso, situado en la localidad de Manzanera
y que incluyen desde terapias antiestrés hasta tratamientos de belleza
y terapéuticos.

A “Casa Mãe” – assim denominada
por ter sido o primeiro imóvel a
surgir no bloco de casas que se lhe
seguiu, é uma casa do século XIX
situada na aldeia da Rapa, abrangida por altas serranias, em plena
encosta da Serra da Estrela. Casa
que funcionou como a primeira
escola primária no século XIX,
pertencente ao avô do actual proprietário, e desde sempre na família, foi cuidadosamente recuperada
em 2000/2001, conservando no
entanto as suas características antigas. É uma construção de granito,
ainda equipada com a destilaria e o
forno.
Local privilegiado para repousar, a
Casa Mãe situa-se em pleno Parque
Natural da Serra da Estrela. É uma
zona conhecida pela sua beleza
bucólica, tradições como a lagarada
e obviamente, pelo queijo, uma vez
que se trata de zona demarcada do
famoso queijo da serra.

As Casas da Lapa nasceram de um
projecto de recuperação executado
durante o ano de 2005. Esta antiga
casa da aldeia de 1832 preservou o
método artesanal de construção e a
utilização dos materiais originais
como o granito e a madeira, mas
numa abordagem contemporânea.
O resultado é um grande equilíbrio
e um conforto extremo.
As casas da Lapa situam-se na aldeia
de Lapa dos Dinheiros, concelho de
Seia, na encosta noroeste em Pleno
Parque Natural da Serra da estrela.
O núcleo antigo da aldeia caracteriza-se pelas casas construídas por
entre as grandes lapas de granito
que rodeiam a capela, dando origem ao seu nome.
A serra seduz pelos cenários e paisagens imponentes, os grandes blocos de granito, os bosques de
castanheiros, as lagoas e as cascatas
que rompem pela vegetação…
The houses of Lapa were born
after a recovery project executed
during the 2005 year.This old

chapel giving it it’s original name.

sceneries and imponent
landscapes, the great granite
blocks, the forest, the woods of

which spring up by the vegetation.

A Quinta do Lagar da Moira, situada em Vila Franca da Serra, no
sopé da Serra da Estrela, resultou da
recuperação de um antigo lagar de
azeite que funcionou desde o início
do século XX até 1989.
A quinta pertence à mesma família
desde o séc. XIX. O edifício foi restaurado em 2003/04 e contemplou duas vertentes: musealização
do lagar de azeite e unidade de turismo em espaço rural.
A casa está integrada numa propriedade de grande riqueza hídrica
que garante a diversidade da fauna
e da flora existentes, contribuindo
para a variedade do trabalho agrícola, nomeadamente a pastorícia.
A quinta proporciona o contacto
com a natureza, a cultura e o
“modus vivendi” da gente da terra:
provas de vinho Dão, de queijo
Serra da Estrela, de pão cozido no
Forno Comunitário, e ainda percursos pedestres pela envolvente e
pela Serra da Estrela.

A Quinta do Paço tem uma história que remonta ao início da nacionalidade, sendo um local escolhido
pelos Bispos da Guarda e de Coimbra para aqui pernoitarem, quando
da sua passagem. A casa que aqui
existe era a residência senhorial da
nobre família dos Mellos, uma das
mais ilustres do Reino. A Quinta
tem também uma bonita capela
com talha e retábulos em madeira
que têm sido situadas como pertencentes à Escola de Grão Vasco.
A “Quinta do Paço da Nespereira”
é um empreendimento, que resulta
da remodelação da Casa Senhorial
brasonada do séc. XIII, combinando um estilo moderno com os
traços e elementos do passado e da
sua história.
Vários são os locais de interesse
existentes na região, desde a paisagem ao património histórico, não
esquecendo uma inevitável referência à gastronomia e ao vinho Dão,
também produzido na quinta.

which goes back to the beginning

O solar situa-se na freguesia de Girabolhos, concelho de Seia no perímetro do Parque Natural da Serra
da Estrela, oferecendo todo o tipo

característica desta zona de paisagens protegidas.
O solar datado de 1718 ostenta vários brasões no seu interior e exterior, que demonstram a
importância do edifício enquanto
referência na freguesia.

O nome da casa resulta de ter sido,
desde o século XVII até hoje, a residência de membros da Família
Cerveira.Trata-se de uma casa
muito antiga com vestígios do séc.
XVI que sofreu alterações no interior e exterior que culminaram, sucessivamente,nos Séc. XVIII e XIX.
A recuperação para foi concluída
em 2002. O imóvel serviu sempre
de casa de habitação.
A casa está situada na freguesia de
Mesquitela, concelho de Celorico
da Beira.Trata-se de uma aldeia
que já teve a categoria de Vila, concedida por D. João IV, em 1644 e
foi condado a partir de 1658, no
reinado de D. Afonso VI.
A região onde está inserida, é reconhecida pelas suas belas paisagens, pelo afamado queijo da Serra
da Estrela, pelo azeite e pela sua
apreciada gastronomia.
The name of the house results of
having been, from the beginning of
the century up to today, the
residence of the Cerveira family. It
is a very old house with traces of
the 16th century which suffered
some modifications in and outside
which reached the highest point in
the 18th and 19th centuries.The
recovery ended in 2002.The
property has always been a
residence.
The house is located in the parish
of Mesquitela, district of Celorico
da Beira. It is a village that already
had the category of villa ( small
town) granted by D. João IV, in
1644 and was a county from 1658,
in the D. Afonso VI reign.
The region where it is inserted is
recognized for his beautiful
sceneries, for the famed Serra da
Estrela cheese, for the olive oil
and for his appreciated
gastronomy.

Anjou rouge, Anjou Village, Gamay
(vins rouges) ou encore les Cabernet d’Anjou, Rosé de Loire (vins

produisent également d’excellents foie
gras, rillettes, fromages qui s’allient à
