St. Vincent de Paul is entirely staffed by volunteers. We need you, to help us
help others. If you’ve been looking for an outreach where even a few hours of
your time will matter…this is it. Call the parish office and add your name to our

YOUTH MINISTRY-NEWS (Christmas play)
Once again many thanks to all of those who participated and supported our
Christmas play we were able to raise a total of $1552.52. May God bless
you and your families. (Youth Ministry leaders)
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS –Fish Fry
The Holy Cross Council is holding a fish fry on Friday January 24th
from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. $10 for Adults $5 for children (5-10).
A portion of the profit will be for the Mission of St. Jude Youth
Center in Brazil (Fr. Luiz Caputo) Tickets on sale after mass on the
weekends or at the Parish office.
St. Jude Youth Center in Brazil
Stapled to your bulletin is an envelope which can be used for a special collection for Fr.
Luiz Caputo´s mission in Brazil. Your money will help to support 350 underprivileged
adolescents learn the life skills needed to find work. You can bring your contribution for
next weekend and place it in the second collection.

Thanks to all of you for your hard work and dedication in preparing the Christmas
liturgies as well ensuring the church was ready and beautifully decorated for the whole

FUNDRAISER FOR St. Jude Youth Center, Brasil
Elephant ears (Malassadas) will be on sale after all masses February 1st
& 2nd. Please come out and support this event, by purchasing them and
sharing them with your family. Donated ingredients such as flour, eggs,
sugar, oil etc… can be left at the office or in the church.

O Conselho da Igreja de Santa Cruz está a preparar mais uma noite de
peixe frito. Será na sexta-feira dia 24 de Janeiro das 5:30 pm até às 8 pm.
Custo de $10 por adulto $5 crianças (5-10). Uma porção do lucro vai ser
revertido para o Serviço Social São Judas de Tadeu no Brasil (Pe. Luiz
Caputo) Bilhetes à venda depois das missas ou através do escritório da
paróquia.

Junto com seu boletim vai receber um envelope que pode usar para colocar a sua
oferta para as obras sociais do Pe. Luiz Caputo no Brasil. Toda ajuda é livre; você
faz a oferta se desejar. É importante dizer que seus donativos vão beneficiar 350
adolescentes pobres, cuidadas pelo Serviço Social São Judas Tadeu. Quem quiser
contribuir pode trazer seu envelope no próximo fim-de-semana e entregar na coleta.

INTENÇÕES -2014
Já pode marcar as suas intenções para as missas do ano de 2014. Para informar que a
partir de 1 de Janeiro só poderemos colocar o máximo de quatro intenções por missa, a
excepção acima das quatro será apenas só para missas do sétimo dia ou falecimento,
o demais terá que falar directamente com o Pe. Luiz. Se tiver alguma data importante
para recordar pedimos que marque com antecedência para assim ter a certeza que sua
intenção será rezada na data que deseja. Também para lembrar que não há intenções
na missa das 11:00 am do Domingo ou em dias de Festas Solenes. Desde já
agradecemos sua compreensão e pedimos que nos ajude a seguir esta regra que é
