Produktbeschreibung
Solvent based cleaner for the removal of hardened epoxy film on glazed and unglazed ceramic coverings, and
as an additive to cleaning water when grouting with epoxy resin. Okamul WH reduces the formation of epoxy
film, facilitates the emulsion and cleaning process, removes hardened epoxy film and polyurethane adhesive
residue on ceramic coverings and can be used as paint remover, e.g for dispersion paints, oil paints, alkyd
resin and acrylic resin paints.
Verarbeitung
To remove epoxy film: No earlier than 12 hours after grouting, use undiluted or thin 1:1 with water and apply
with a paintbrush or rayon sponge on soiled surfaces. Protect all adjacent areas. After leaving the cleaner for
approx. 15 minutes (maximum) clean covering with a white cleaning pad. Rinse and clean afterward with
plenty of water.
As cleaning additive when grouting with epoxy: Add a maximum of 10 % of Okamul WH to the cleaning water
and emulsify the covering immediately following an application of Okapox F/K-Boden with an appropriate
cleaning pad. Protect all adjacent areas. Then remove the solution with a fine-pored rayon sponge. Rinse the
sponge frequently and thoroughly in clean water and change the water often. Follow with a rinse of clean
water using a clean sponge.
As adhesive and paint remover: Apply Okamul WH undiluted with a paintbrush onto the paint or adhesive
layer to be removed. Protect all adjacent areas. Let sit for 15 minutes then remove the layer with a spatula.
Rinse and clean with plenty of water. Test the solution on a small area before you start the application.
