THE LEAVING BIOGRAFIE
The Leaving ist das Singer-Songwriter Soloprojekt von
Frederyk Rotter, der auch als Frontmann der Metalband
Zatokrev fungiert. Von 2009 bis 2013 spielte er bereits
zahlreiche Akkustikkonzerte und veröffentlichte 2010
unter dem Namen “Fredy Rotten” das Album Even If We
Sleep über sein Label Czar Of Crickets Productions.
Fredy Rotten wurde 2013 in The Leaving umbenannt.
Im Gegensatz zu der alles niederwalzenden Noise-Doom
Band Zatokrev, erinnert The Leaving eher an einen stillen,
unberuhrten Fluss. Die überwiegend sanft gezupften
Gitarrenmelodien gepaart mit sanftem Gesang bewegen
sich irgendwo zwischen Folk, Indie und Psychedelic Rock.
Das neue Album “Faces” beinhaltet zehn Geschichten über
verschiedene Begegnungen mit unterschiedlichen
Individuen.
Faces wurde im Studio “La Fonderie” in Fribourg (CH) von
Christoph Noth aufgenommen, im Unysses Sound Lab in
Berkley/Kalifornien von Noah Landis (von Neurosis)
abgemischt und von Golden Mastering in
Ventura/Kalifornien gemastert.
