Schloss Sonnenburg in St.Lorenzen
Einst Schloss der Pustertaler Gaugrafen, später Benediktinerinnenkloster,
Militärhospital und Armenhaus, beherbergt das Schloss heute ein Viersternehotel. Erwähnenswert sind der
Kreuzgang und die spätromanischen
Fresken in der Krypta der ehemaligen
Klosterkirche.

Florianikapelle in Mühlbach
Die doppelgeschossige gotische
Kapelle wurde im 15. Jh. erbaut. Bei
Arbeiten wurden Fresken, Statuen,
Schriftstücke, Münzen und Knochen
aus der Römerzeit entdeckt, welche im
Museum ausgestellt werden.
Cappella Floriani a Rio di Pusteria
Cappella in stile gotico a due piani,
costruita nel 15° secolo. Durante i
lavori di sgombero furono trovati
affreschi, statue, scritture, monete e
centinaia di ossa dall’epoca romana,
che possono essere visitati nel

banks of the Aurino, the Aurino nature
reserve, consists of seven protected
meadow biotopes. Ditches, ponds,
alluvial forests and moorland are home
to unusual fauna and flora. Around
700 different species of butterflies live

Der Familienbetrieb Bergila liegt auf
dem Hochplateau nördlich von Kiens,

Nach alt überlieferten Verfahren
wird hier ätherisches Öl von feinster

verschiedene Kräuter angebaut und zu
Kräuterprodukten verarbeitet.

Burg Taufers in Sand in Taufers
Die mächtige Burganlage ist eine
bedeutende Dynastenburg des Mittelalters und zählt zu den schönsten
Anlagen in Südtirol. Von der Innenausstattung sind in erster Linie die
gotischen Fresken der Kapelle und die

ausgestatteten Räume zu nennen.

Nel Caseificio Gatscher, il visitatore ha
modo di osservare il processo di trasformazione del latte in formaggio. Il maso
è adagiato tra i verdi prati ad ovest del
paese ed è specializzato nella produzione di yogurt, burro e vari tipi di squisito
formaggio.
Bergila a Chienes
Ubicata sull’altopiano a nord di
Chienes, nei pressi del laghetto
d’Issengo, l’azienda a conduzione
familiare produce oli eterici di
prima qualità. Bergila lavora anche
numerosi prodotti a base di erbe, tutte
provenienti da coltivazioni biologiche
controllate di proprietà dell’azienda.

e le tante stanze con le pareti rivestite in
legno e l’accogliente mobilio.

Schloss Ehrenburg
Die erste Anlage wurde im 12. Jahrhundert erbaut. Später folgten mehrere
Erweiterungen und Umbauten. Bemerkenswert sind der große Saal und
das Erkerzimmer mit Kassettendecke,
Holztäfelung und Deckengemälden,
sowie die Schlosskapelle. Das Schloss
ist nur von außen zu besichtigen.
Römerstein in Ehrenburg
Im Jahre 1928 wurde westlich von
Ehrenburg ein römischer Meilenstein
gefunden. Er war in einer Feldmauer
eingemauert und stammt aus der
römischen Kaiserzeit um 100 n.
Chr. Seine Inschrift zeigt u.a. die
Entfernung zur nächstgelegenen
römischen Stadt Aguntum (bei Lienz).
Castello di Casteldarne
Eretto nel XII secolo, il maniero fu ampliato più volte nei secoli successivi.
Particolarmente degni di nota sono la
sala principale, la stanza con bovindo,
soffitto a cassettoni dipinti e pareti
rivestite in legno e la cappella. Oggi,
il castello è visitabile solo dall’esterno.
Pietra miliare a Casteldarne
Nel 1928, fu ritrovata in un muretto
di campagna a ovest di Casteldarne
una pietra miliare di epoca romana,
risalente al 100 d. C. circa. Tra i dati
riportati nell’iscrizione, vi è anche
l’indicazione della distanza dalla città
romana allora più vicina, Aguntum,
presso Lienz.

Casteldarne|Ehrenburg
In 1928, a Roman milestone was found
in the west of Casteldarne. Dating from
the Roman Empire, sometime around
100 AD, it formed part of a wall. Its
inscription shows the distance to the
nearest Roman town, Aguntum (near

Bei Franzensfeste mündet die Fahrradroute Pustertal in die Brennerradroute.
In Richtung Norden erreicht der Genussradler nach ca. 45 km den Brennerpass und in Richtung Süden gelangt er vorbei an Brixen und Klausen in die
Landeshauptstadt Bozen (ca. 47 km).

A Fortezza la ciclabile della Val Pusteria sfocia nella ciclabile del Brennero.
Verso nord si raggiunge il passo del Brennero dopo 45 km, mentre verso sud

Framed by green meadows the bike route leaves the urban center of the
Pustertal|Val Pusteria and proceeds towards west: an old roman street station (Mansio Sebatum close to San Lorenzo|St. Lorenzen), different farms open
to visitors and impressing castles (Ehrenburg & Sonnenburg) make the biking
experience unique. Final point of the bike route is Rio di Pusteria|Mühlbach or

Al termine del percorso ciclabile Val Pusteria inizia la Ciclabile della Drava che
attraversa il confine verso l’Austria, e che porta anche fino a Maribor in Slovenia.
La 1° tappa da San Candido fino a Lienz è particolarmente amata dai ciclisti.

Am Ende der Fahrradroute Pustertal beginnt der grenzüberschreitende Drauradweg, welcher von Toblach/Italien bis nach Maribor/Slowenien verläuft. Dabei ist die erste Etappe von Innichen nach Lienz besonders beliebt.

Dal capoluogo Pusterese si prosegue verso ovest: lungo la via si incontrerà la
storica stazione Romana di Sebatum a San Lorenzo, castelli (Castel Badia, Castello di Casteldarne) e tanto altro. Prima dell’arrivo a Fortezza si può ancora far
tappa nel paese di Rio di Pusteria.

Da San Candido, con i suoi famosi campanili, la ciclabile porta a Brunico con
lo splendido sfondo delle Dolomiti. In leggera discesa si incontreranno tante possibilità di svago come il Minigolf, il Mondo dei Bambini, e tanti punti
d’interesse culturale.

Vom urbanen Zentrum des Pustertals geht es weiter entlang der grünen Talsohle in Richtung Westen: Hierbei wird eine ehemalige römische Straßenstation
(Mansio Sebatum bei St. Lorenzen) passiert und viele bäuerliche Erlebnispunkte
und imposante Schlossanlagen (Schloss Ehrenburg & Sonnenburg) wollen erkundet werden. Endpunkt der Pustertal Radroute ist die Ortschaft Mühlbach
bzw. Franzensfeste.

vorbei an einer prächtigen Dolomitenlandschaft bis nach Bruneck. Bergab
radelnd erwarten viele kulturhistorische Denkmäler und diverse Freizeitaktivitäten wie das Spielgolf und die Kinderwelt die neugierigen Radler.

