Die „System-CD-ROM“ bietet Ihnen vielfältige Informationen rund um
unsere Produkte und Serviceleistungen sowie technische Daten und
Zeichnungen zu den Profilsystemen. Die Profilkonfiguration ermöglicht
dabei eine schnelle und flexible Suche nach nahezu jedem denkbaren
VEKA Profilquerschnitt. Verschiedene Wandanschlüsse können generiert,
verändert und mit Hilfe von der s. g. Isothermen-Berechnung auf
ihre Praxistauglichkeit überprüft werden. Die so erzeugten Schnittzeichnungen lassen sich problemlos in jedem Maßstab ausdrucken und
in verschiedene CAD- und Grafikprogramme exportieren.
Per Mausklick starten Sie das interaktive Ausschreibungsprogramm.
Texte und zugehörige Fensterskizzen werden im Leistungsverzeichnis
dargestellt und verwaltet, sie können ausgedruckt oder exportiert
werden. Fenster können sehr unterschiedliche Eigenschaften haben.
Das Ausschreibungsprogramm hilft, die gewünschte Qualität und
objektbezogene Anforderungen deutlich und somit unverwechselbar
zu machen:
• Normgerechte Vorbemerkungen und Positionstexte
• Interaktive Zuordnung der objektbezogenen Anforderungen
• Auswahl von Fenstertypen aus Skizzen- und Textbibliotheken
• Freies Konstruieren fast aller Fenstertypen, die fertigungstechnisch
sinnvoll sind
• Erstellen von eigenen Skizzen- und Textbibliotheken
Systemvoraussetzungen
So installieren Sie die Planungssoftware
• 100% IBM-kompatibler PC mit PentiumProzessor ab 600 MHz
• CD-ROM-Laufwerk 10fach oder höher
• 128 MB Arbeitsspeicher (RAM),
besser 256 MB
• Bildschirmgrafik 800 x 600 Pixel, besser
1024 x 768, mit HighColor / TrueColor

1. Legen Sie die VEKA CD in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres PC und starten Sie dort SETUP.EXE.
2. Es erfolgt nun die Installation der VEKA Systeme. Dabei werden
Programme und wichtige Daten auf die Festplatte übertragen.
Die CD müssen Sie einlegen, wenn Sie die Programmtools „VEKA
Planung“ oder eines der „Demo-Programme“ starten wollen. Für
„VEKA Ausschreibung“ ist die CD nicht erforderlich. Hier wird die
CD aber angefordert, wenn ein Demo-Programm aus dem Menü
heraus gestartet wird.
3. Nach Abschluss der VEKA Installation erfolgt die Installation des
„Acrobat Reader 5.0“. Dieser wird zur Anzeige von Produktinformationen im Teil „VEKA Planung“ benötigt.

4. Sollte es bei der Installation oder später zu Problemen mit der
Datenbanksoftware BORLAND DATABASE ENGINE kommen, so
können Sie eine Nachinstallation durch Starten von \BDE32Ins\
DISK1\SETUP.EXE auf der CD vornehmen.
6. If you wish to deinstall the software from your PC, please use the
program: Settings - System settings - Add/Remove programs.
Please note that the VEKA installation path is not fully deleted, this
is because the files created during the programs operation are not
influenced by the deinstallation. Therefore please manually delete
the installation path after you deinstall the program.
5. If you wish to view technical drawings (DWG, DXF) saved to hard
disk, please install the “CAD-Viewer” by starting the SETUP.EXE file
in the directory \VIEWDXF\DISK1\ on the CD.

verwenden Sie dazu bitte das Programm: Einstellungen – Systemsteuerung – Software. Der VEKA Installationspfad wird dabei
jedoch nicht vollständig gelöscht, da während der Laufzeit erzeugte
Dateien nicht der Deinstallation unterliegen. Löschen Sie deshalb
noch nachträglich den Installationspfad manuell.

How to install the planning software
System prerequisites
2. An installation of the VEKA systems takes place i.e. programs and
important data are copied onto your hard drive. The CD needs to be
inserted if you wish to start the program tools “VEKA Planning”
or one of the “Demo Programs”. The CD is not necessary to run
“VEKA tendering”, however the CD is requested if a demo program
is started from the menu.
3. After the VEKA installation is complete, the installation of “Acrobat
Reader 5.0” takes place. This software is necessary to display
product information in the “VEKA Planning” section.

– interactive planning and design for individual solutions
The interactive tendering program is started per mouse click. The text
and corresponding window sketches are shown and administered in the
performance directory, they can be printed or exported. Windows can
have very difference properties, hence the tendering program helps to
clarify the desired quality and the object related demands:
• Preliminary remark and item test conforming to standards
• Interactive allocation of the object related demands
• Choice of window types from sketch and text libraries
• Freehand construction of almost all window types that are
meaningful – fabrication wise.
• Creation of your own sketch and text libraries
The “System CD-ROM” offers a large amount of information about our
products and services as well as technical data and drawings of all our
profile systems. The profile configuration makes a quick and flexible
search for any VEKA profile cross-section possible. Various wall connections can be generated, changed and examined in regard to their ability
to be put into practice by using so called isotherm calculations. Such
cross-section drawings can be printed to any scale as well as be exported to various CAD or other graphic programs.
