Directions
Travel by car
Pengutronix is located in the city of Hildesheim. If you are coming from the north (via
Hannover) using the Autobahn A7 please use the Autobahn exit number 61
(Hildesheim-Drispenstedt) and then turn right on B494/Kennedydamm. Follow this
street for 1.6 miles and on the second traffic light turn right on "Sachsenring". Remain on
"Sachsenring" for 0.5 miles - pass the rotary - and on the next traffic light turn slightly
left into "Peiner Strasse". Follow "Peiner Strasse" for 0.25 miles and on the left hand side
you will find Pengutronix (Peiner Strasse 6-8).
If you are coming from the south (via Kassel/Frankfurt) using the Autobahn A7 please
use the Autobahn exit number 62 (Hildesheim) and drive towards
"Hildesheim/Sarstedt". Stay on B1/"Berliner Strasse" - pass the rotary - and after about
0.5 miles turn right into "Hannoversche Strasse". After 650 feet remain right on
"Hannoversche Strasse", go under the bridge and than turn right on "Peiner Strasse".
After 260 feet you will find Pengutronix on the right hand side (Peiner Strasse 6-8).
Travel by train
The Hildesheim main train station is just a 5 minute walk away from Pengutronix. You
can get there by ICE high speed train (Hildesheim is connected to the ICE track BaselBerlin), regional trains (RE, RB) and rapid-transit railway (S-Bahn; via Hannover). After
you have arrived in Hildesheim leave the main train station via the north exit (turn right
after you went down the stairs from the tracks) and after 100 feet turn left on "Altes
Dorf". Follow "Altes Dorf" for 100 feet and than turn left into "Peiner Strasse". After 260
feet you will find Pengutronix on the left hand side (Peiner Strasse 6-8).
Travel by plane
Traveling to Hildesheim by plane you should best fly into Hannover (Hannover Airport is
situated in Langenhagen, about 6 miles north of Hannover). From Hannover Airport
there are regular rapid-transit railway (S-Bahn, S5) connections to Hannover main train
station. From Hannover main train station you can take regional trains (RE, RB) or the
rapid-transit railway (S-Bahn, S4) to Hildesheim. After you arrived in Hildesheim leave
the main train station via the north exit and after 100 feet turn left on "Altes Dorf".
Follow "Altes Dorf" for 100 feet and than turn left into "Peiner Strasse". After 260 feet
you will find Pengutronix on the left hand side (Peiner Strasse 6-8).
Travel by ship
Traveling by ship we suggest to arrive at the seaport of Emden where you have to follow
the river Ems. At the Gleesen lock in the south of Lingen turn into Dortmund-Ems
channel and follow it until Hörstek. At Nasses Dreieck (wet triangel) near Hörstel turn
into Mittellandkanal and follow it until the Bolzum lock near Sehnde where you have to
keep right in order to reach the Hildesheim port after 9.084 miles. Leave Hildesheim
port via "Hafenstrasse" and follow "Münchewiese". After 0.68 miles turn left onto
"Cheruskerring" remain for 0.3 miles and than turn right onto "Steuerwalder Strasse". In
front of the bridge (train tracks) turn left onto "Peiner Strasse". After 260 feet you will
find Pengutronix on the right hand side (Peiner Strasse 6-8).
