The MERCI, s.r.o. company is a traditional Czech manufacturer of
laboratory furniture and fume cupboards, operating in the market
since 1992. The backbone of the MERCI manufacturing portfolio
is metal laboratory fume cupboards with microprocessor control,
metal service cells and a wide range of laboratory furniture made
of laminated chipboard or high-pressure laminate (HPL).
Die Gesellschaft MERCI, GmbH ist ein traditioneller tschechischer Hersteller der Labormöbel und Abzüge und wirkt auf
dem Markt seit dem Jahre 1992. Das Zentrum des Produktionsprogramms stellen die Abzüge mit mikroelektronischer
Steuerung dar, weiter die Medienzellen aus Metal und eine
breite Skala der Labormöbelstücke aus der laminierten Spannplatte oder aus dem Hochdrucklaminat-HPL.
The whole production range is certified according to European
standards and testes by an accredited, state-owned testing laboratory. Manufacturing and business background of the company
consists of the manufacturing and logistics premises situated in
Brno (Czech Republic). Modern manufacturing equipment meets
all quality and safety requirements. The target population of our
customers includes a broad range of market segments in the
fields of science, research, health care, chemical industry
and quality control.

Single components of all model lines enable complete equipment of laboratory
interiors of high quality, using the optimum types of materials. The used components
and materials differ in price and capacity of meeting the user’s individual idea of

The basic philosophy in designing of laboratory interiors is the emphasis on
operational resistance of all used elements which form the functional backbone
of laboratory interior. For that reason we have opted for steel sheet with
surface finishing as the key material for laboratories MERCI®.
Während der Lösung der Laborinterieure gilt die Philosophie der
Betriebsbeständigkeit der Möbelstücke, die den Kern eines Laborinterieurs
bilden. Aus diesen Gründen wurde für die Laborräume MERCI® als Grundmaterial
Stahlblech mit oberflächlicher Beschichtung erwählt.
For other components of the laboratory interior we use elements made of laminated
chipboards, HPL and steel-section structures.
The basic material of laboratory fume cupboards and service cells is steel sheet provided
with protective coating preventing corrosion and mechanical damage. Aesthetically
and in light of design the fume cupboards MERCI® are finalized with electrostatically
applied epoxy powder coating. The base of high flexibility of our products is the use
of a flexible cassette system, to fit and control the media distribution easy. The system
enables extend or reduce the number of media outlets without any extensive
interventions. Laboratory furniture MERCI® offers a wide palette of colours for single
elements of interior equipment for your easier orientation in laboratory, in compliance
with the company standards or merely for aesthetic reasons. Laboratory MERCI® can
be completed with a broad range of accessories from specialized manufactures so that
it fully meets the idea and requirements of comfortable working. Thus the equipment
can be completed with special cabinets, instruments, stainless-steel furniture, sitting
furniture and rack systems according to the particular needs.
We project the optimum work methodologies for technological equipment, plans of
regular maintenance of equipment and preventive safety precautions.
Für restliche Komponente benutzen wir Elemente aus laminierten Spannplatten, aus
Hochdrucklaminat HPL oder die Stahlkonstruktionen.
Das Grundmaterial für die Produktion der Abzüge und der Medienzellen ist Stahlblech
mit antikorrosiver Schutzbeschichtung, die vor der mechanischen Beschädigung
schützt. Wegen der Ästhetik und Designproblematik werden diese Produkte
oberflächlich beschichtet mit elektrostatischer Epoxy-Lackierung. Das Prinzip der
hohen Flexibilität unserer Produkte steckt in der Benutzung vom Kassettensystem,
das die Ausrüstung mit verschiedensten Medien erlaubt. Dieses System ermöglicht,
ohne die Notwendigkeit dramatischer Eingriffe, die Zahl von Medien zu erhöhen oder
zu verringern. Die Labormöbel MERCI® bieten eine breite Skala von Farbmöglichkeiten
der Interieurausstattung an, entweder für die Zwecke der Orientierung im Labor, oder
einfach aus den ästhetischen Gründen. Das Labor MERCI® kann um die breite Skala des
Zubehörs von spezialisierten Herstellern ergänzt werden, um alle Vorstellungen über
den Arbeitskomfort zu erfüllen. Die Ausrüstung kann noch mit speziellen Schränken,
Geräten, Edelstahlmöbeln, Sitzmöbeln und Regalsystemen je nach aktuellem Bedarf
ergänzt werden.
Wir schlagen optimalisierte Arbeitsmethoden für technologische Einrichtungen vor,

Assortment of fume cupboards MERCI® includes from user-simple designs with
mechanical sash window and manual control through electrically controlled fume
cupboards to the so-called intelligent fume cupboards. The highest level of design of
fume cupboards MERCI® communicates with regulation systems MaR of buildings.
A fume cupboard control unit in connection to a movement or position of the working
sash window regulates dynamically the volume of exhausted and supplied air from and
to the laboratory.

We make fume cupboards MERCI® based on your
requirements not only for general use but also for
increased resistance against acids and alkalis, solvents
or high temperature. Improved utility properties of
the inside space of fume cupboard can be achieved
by an interior space lining made of resistant materials
completed with a wide range of fume cupboard
worktops. Fume cupboards MERCI® can be modified
for working in the environment with a risk of explosion
according to ATEX 94/9/EC directive, or equipped with
a special bottom exhaust for working with heavy gases.

Die Abzüge MERCI® werden auf Grund Ihrer Anforderungen nicht nur für allgemeine Nutzung produziert,
sondern auch für die Zwecke der erhöhten Beständigkeit gegen Säuren, Laugen, Lösemittel und hohe

des Abzuges können mithilfe der Auslegung der Wände
und des Dachbodens mit speziell beständigen Materialien erreicht werden, die die Skala der Arbeitsplatten ergänzen. Die Abzüge MERCI® können auch für die Arbeit
in Explosionsbereichen nach der Norm ATEX 94/9/EC

MERCI® have a valid certificate documenting

Values of tests of releasing of hazardous substances
from fume cupboards based on EN 14175 or pressure
loss tests correspond to requirements specified by the
standard.

Fume cupboard accessories
Laboratory fume cupboards MERCI® offer you all the latest elements of
technological progress. Thanks to it you can make your work pleasurable
and easier and save your money and the environment at the same time.
Regulation, control and monitoring of operation statuses of fume cupboards MERCI® is ensured by a microprocessor control unit. Instructions
from the control unit are transferred to internal systems of the fume
cupboard such as ventilator, light, outlets, alarm and to the building
management system (BMS) and measuring and regulation (MaR). Control
units developed by MERCI, s.r.o. are equipped for your better safety also
with above-the-standard functions such as emergency exhaust, automatic
or manual disconnection of electric circuits of the fume cupboard (TOTAL
STOP), and they are obligatorily equipped with continuous monitoring of
the volume of exhausted air with audiovisual alarm.
Electronically controlled fume
cupboards MERCI® are equipped with
an optoelectronic safety bar.
In the case of special applications it is
also possible to equip fume cupboards
MERCI® with foot-controlled moving of
the working sash window.
Fume cupboards can be equipped with
supplementary accessories such as grids for
apparatuses, grommets for cables or media
in capillary distribution, handing holders of
instruments and a receptacle for small accessories.
In the case of applications which require cleaning
of the exhausted air the fume cupboard can be
equipped with an absorption gas washer or special
adsorption filters. The space under the worktop
can be equipped with special safety cabinets (with/
without exhaust) or sets of collecting vessels for
various types of chemical or biological waste.

Entwicklung an. Dank dieser Tatsache können Sie sowohl Ihre Arbeit

Die Bedienung, die Steuerung und das Monitoring des Betriebszustandes
der Abzüge MERCI® werden mithilfe einer mikroprozessorgeregelten
Regulierungseinheit ermöglicht. Die Befehle von dieser Einheit werden
an die internen Systeme des Abzuges weitergegeben, wie z.B. Ventilator,
Beleuchtung, Steckdosen, Alarm und an die BMS und MaR Systeme
(Building management system, Measurement and Regulation).
Steuereung
Elektronisch geregelte Abzüge MERCI®
sind mit einer Sicherheitsoptoschranke
ausgestattet.
Der Abzug MERCI® kann auch mit
einem Fußschalter für die Steuerung
der Fensterbewegung versehen
werden.
Zubehör des Abzuges
Die Abzüge können mit Zubehör, wie z.B. Gitter
für Apparaturen, Durchgangstüllen für Kabellage
oder für Medien, Gerätehalter, Schublade für
Kleinigkeiten ausgestattet werden. Bei den
Applikationen, bei denen der Bedarf entsteht,
die Luft zu reinigen, kann der Abzug mit einem
Gasreiniger oder mit speziellen Filtern versehen
werden. Den Raum unter der Arbeitsplatte kann
man mit speziellen Sicherheitsschränken (mit/
ohne Entlüftung) oder mit Aufffanggefäßen
für verschiedene chemische oder biologische
Abfallarten ergänzen.

Safety cabinets are an important part of your laboratory equipment.
This type of special laboratory furniture enables storing of chemicals,
inflammable liquids and pressure cylinders considering not only protection
of the stored materials but also ensuring of the safety of the personnel in
laboratory and adjacent premises in the case of fire. Safety cabinets in the
MERCI® portfolio correspond to the requirements of the EN 14470 standard.
