Sacrament of the Sick
In the event of serious illness or medical emergency, Anointing of the Sick
and Eucharist may be arranged by contacting the Parish office. In case of a
medical emergency after office hours call (949) 257-8017.
Sacrament of Baptism
Parents of infants requesting information about Baptism may contact the
Faith Formation office, 496-6011. Infant Baptisms are celebrated on the
first and third Sunday of each month following catechesis for parents and
godparents of candidates.
Celebration of Christian Funerals
At the time of death, a family member should contact the Parish Office, as
soon as possible, to arrange the date and time for the funeral liturgy.
Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Adults requesting information about full initiation and communion with the
Roman Catholic Church (the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation) may contact the Faith Formation office at 496-6011.
Sacrament of Matrimony
The Sacrament presumes active sacramental participation on the part of
one or both persons. Couples must begin preparation for their Sacrament
at least six months prior to their proposed wedding date. Please call the
Parish office for more information.
Eucharistic Adoration
On the first and third Monday of each month we gather in prayer and
praise before the Blessed Sacrament. The Diocesan intention is that of an
increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

church. The Novena will be Sunday, May 11
through Monday May 19.

Next Sunday, May 11 is Mother's Day. We will have

Mass for our moms and grandmothers.

H.E.L.P.
(HELP, EMPATHY, LOVE, & PRAYER)
H.E.L.P. is a support group for those with
chronic illness and/or caregivers.
Monday, May 5th @ 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Please join us to pray together and discuss practical
treatment and issues such as nutrition, exercise, rest,
and stress relief. If you need information regarding
referrals or home or hospital visits, please call Maggie
Prendiville, RN, MS at 496-7312. We meet the first
and third Mondays of the month in the Church Meeting Room.

Scout Pack 705, chartered by St. Edward
the Confessor Catholic Church, is now
recruiting Cub and Webelo Scouts. Boys who will be
in 1st through 5th grade as of the fall of 2014 are

the adventure starting with summer Cub Day Camp

St. Anne’s Circle is a Mom's Group for all mothers,

play, allowing friendships to form within our faith

Silence and Solitude Spring Retreat with the
Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart
This year St. Edward women have the opportunity to
attend an extra retreat May 23-25th for those who
can’t attend in the fall or those who would like the quiet time away twice a year. If you need or want a quiet
week-end in prayer led by the sisters, please contact

addition to our regularly scheduled retreat in October.

Catholics in Recovery (CIR) is for anyone with addictions or
unhealthy habits and for family members and friends suffering
with them. It is also for those seeking to overcome depression, anger, and other emotional health issues including the
loss of a loved one through death, divorce or rejection. CIR
