As summer draws to a close, the Holy Cross Children’s Liturgy program is
gearing up to begin again. We are in need of more volunteers this year to
make this program successful. Please contact the Parish office at 519455-4740 as soon as possible if you are interested. Again, please take

participate and bring your friends! Everyone is welcome! Let us pray for all
of the leaders and participants as they journey through the First Season of
the Why Catholic Program. May they be guided by the Holy Spirit!
FUNDRAISER: (Malassadas for Sale/ Thanksgiving weekend)
Elephant ears will be on sale after all masses October 11th and 12th. Please
come out and support this event, by purchasing them and sharing them
with your family. Donated ingredients such as flour and oil can be left at
the office or in the church.
LIFE – CHAIN (October 5th, 2014 from 2:30pm -3:30 pm)
This is a powerful witness for the sacredness of Life in a peaceful and prayerful way.
The information for the annual cross city Life chain has been posted on the board.
Please come and join us and you can bring a chair. Arrive at approx. 2:15 pm, the
drop off location for our parish: Wellington & Weston (Chain will spread from
Weston to Bond). Call Bonnie @ 519-659-3334 if you need assistance with online
registration.
London Public Square Rosary Rally (Saturday, October 11, 2014)
Come pray with us for peace, for our Church, and for the conversion of Canada.
Location: Victoria Park Bandshell, London. A bus will be leaving Holy Cross parish at
11:00am and returning to the parish at 1:30pm. Seats are limited. To cover the cost
of the bus there is a fee of $5 per person. Contact Natalia @ 519-659-0592 to signup.
FUNDOS PARA A IGREJA/BUILDING FUND:
(Venda de Malassadas/ fim de semana de Acção de graças)
Este grupo está organizar mais um fim-de-semana de vender
malassadas para angariar fundos para o building fund. Será após as
missas, nos dias 11 e 12 de Outubro. Pedimos a vossa colaboração
com donativos para os ingredientes, tais como: farinha, óleo, ovos, açúcar etc. Estes
donativos podem ser entregues no escritório da paróquia ou à D. Amélia Frada.
Por que ser católico? Uma Caminhada pelo Catequismo!
Etapa 1 – Outono 2014
Programa inicia na semana de 19 de Outubro. Ligue para a Paróquia para
se escrever. Rezemos para que Deus guie todos os leaders e
participantes nesta quinta e ultima etapa!

para o apelo anual de acção de graças da nossa Paróquia.
Unidos na fé, queremos continuar a crescer e atender às necessidades, respondendo à
chamada missionária da Igreja. Antecipadamente agradecemos vosso apoio e a vossa
constante generosidade com a Paróquia.
