Slap finds in the contrast between a compact volume and the
delicacy of the seat its controversial existence. The seat that
should be robust to withstand the load of the body at rest is
the most delicate and “fragile” of the all, we look with this for a
provocation to the senses and a feeling of imbalance between
form and function.
The structure in solid beech wood supports a thin aluminum seat
covered in fabric, this seeks to emphasize the disparity between
the two volumes not only by the difference of language but also
by the difference in materials. The delicate and fine fabric is the
support while the wood is the sturdy and solid adornment that
involves the body.
Slap encontra no contraste entre um volume compacto e uno e
a delicadeza do assento a sua controversa existência. O assento
que deveria ser robusto para aguentar a carga do corpo em
descanso é o elemento mais delicado e “frágil” do conjunto,
procura-se com isto uma provocação aos sentidos e uma
sensação de desequilíbrio entre forma e função.
A estrutura em madeira de faia maciça suporta um fino
acento em alumínio revestido a tecido, procura-se enfatizar a
desproporção entre os dois volumes não só pela diferença de
linguagens mas também pela diferença de materiais. O tecido
delicado e fino é o suporte enquanto que a madeira robusta e
solida é o adorno que envolve o corpo.
DESCRIPTION OF THE OBJECT
DESCRIÇÃO DO OBJETO
A chair in solid wood, aluminum, gel and fabric, these materials
can confer a robust and traditional language to the structure
while garneting delicacy and refinement to the seat. The seat with
only 6 mm of thick, is a sandwich of aluminum involved in gel
and fabric, so it is possible to ensure an extremely comfortable
seat. This technology typically used in sports equipment such as
saddles of bikes, brings to the world of chairs novelty and more
comfort.
Slap is the contrast between two worlds: the traditional solid
wood chair and new materials such gel, this contrast allows you
to get a seat thinner than what you usually see in chairs and
offers a distinct and elegant vocabulary.

cadeiras novidade e maior conforto.
