Nach dem bundesweiten Erfolg der Kinder- und Jugendinitiative KINDER ZUM OLYMP! der Kulturstiftung der Länder
in den beiden vergangenen Jahren wagen die Initiatoren den
„Blick über den Tellerrand“: Auf dem europäischen Kongress
LERNEN AUS DER PRAXIS, der vom 22. bis 24. September
2005 auf Kampnagel Hamburg statt-findet, werden erfolgreiche Modelle der kulturellen Bildung und Kulturvermittlung
in Europa präsentiert und diskutiert.
Wie schaffen es unsere europäischen Nachbarn, Kindern und
Jugendlichen einen Zugang zur Kultur zu ermöglichen?
Wie ist die kulturelle Kinder- und Jugendbildung innerhalb
und außerhalb der Schulen in Europa organisiert? Und wie
lassen sich erfolgreiche und innovative Konzepte aus dem
europäischen Ausland in unseren Schulen, mit unseren
Künstlern und Kultureinrichtungen verwirklichen?
Auf parallelen Foren werden außergewöhnliche und anregende
europäische Kulturprojekte vorgestellt und mit Künstlern,
Wissenschaftlern, Politikern und den Teilnehmern aus dem
In- und Ausland diskutiert. Die Veranstaltung wendet sich an
Kultureinrichtungen und Künstler aller Sparten sowie an
Pädagogen und Kulturvermittler, Politiker und Medienvertreter,
die sich mit neuen Bildungsmodellen beschäftigen wollen.
Der Kongress bietet nicht nur lebendige und praktische
Informationen, sondern verfolgt auch das Ziel, Politik,
Medien und Öffentlichkeit zu mobilisieren und einzubinden.
Over the last two years, the Cultural Foundation of the German
Laender´s children and young adults initiative KINDER ZUM
OLYMP! has had a great deal of success in Germany. This fall,
the initiative will take a wider view with its European Congress
LEARNING THROUGH PRACTICE, which will take place in
Hamburg’s Theatre Kampnagel from September 22 nd - 24 th,
2005. The Congress will provide an opportunity for the presentation and discussion of models in the fields of cultural education and cultural mediation.
What pathways do our European neighbours follow in providing
access to culture for their children and young adults that is
both exciting and interesting? How is cultural education for
children and young adults organised throughout Europe, both
in school and out of it? And how can successful, innovative
concepts from other European countries be integrated into
German educational models and schools with the help
of our own artists and cultural institutions?
Extraordinary and inspiring cultural projects from all over
Europe will be presented and discussed by artists, scientists,
politicians and international participants in parallel forums.
The event is aimed primarily at cultural institutions and artists
from every discipline, as well as education experts and cultural
intermediaries, politicians and media representatives that have
an interest in new education models. The Congress will offer
not only spirited and practical information, but will also seek
to mobilize and include politicians, media professionals and
the wider public in the discussions.

“Gertigstraße”. Folgen Sie der Gertigstraße bis zum Ende,

“Hauptbahnhof” to the “Gertigstrasse” stop. After exiting the
bus, follow the Gertig-strasse until it ends. Directly opposite
you’ll see the Kampnagel grounds.

number of requests for information that we’ve already received,
we suggest registering at the earliest possible opportunity. The

Der Teilnehmerbeitrag beträgt EUR 70,- / erm. EUR 50,(Schüler, Studenten, Arbeitslose, Schwerbehinderte) und
schließt die Kongressunterlagen sowie alle im Programm
ausgewiesenen Kaffeepausen und Mahlzeiten ein.
Bei Annahme Ihrer Anmeldung senden wir Ihnen eine
Bestätigung zu. Bitte überweisen Sie den Teilnehmerbeitrag erst
dann, wenn Sie diese erhalten haben.

Vocational Training for Teachers
Applications for recognition of the Congress as a vocational
training event for educators have been submitted to all of the
necessary offices in Germany. For more information, please contact the congress management

Hotel Accomodation
Because many trade fairs are also in progress during the time
period in which the Congress takes place, we suggest booking
lodgings as early as possible at www.hrs.de. As there are few
hotels near the Kampnagel Theatre, a hotel near Hamburg’s
main train station is probably the least complicated option
available.
