D-D-Debbie Cooper, looking quite Czarina-like with her hair down, opened the mtg, and Bud(love that name)
Molthrop acted as greeter and gave his thought for the day, as this Buddy slaved away over the notes for the
meeting. Meanwhile Grant(red badger)Stubblefield hustled the members for signatures toward his blue
badge. Peggy took Bob Aguilar's place as Raffler.
Visiting Rotarians: Dr. Ron Light, a frequent visitor, considered by most to be a full fledged Lafayette Rotary
member.
Guests: Erin Martin, soon to be a red badger

Annc'ed : John Sherry spoke of the district conference that he attended with Bob Shusta and Dave
Abrahams, reportedly one of the best in his tenure as a Rotarian.
Bob S. Reminded us of the upcoming Bored Mtgs, the next being a combined one with outgoing and incoming boards.
Jay L. Spoke of Taste of Lafayette, a tasty town if ever there was one.
Debbie spoke of the Boche Ball tourney in Martinez. Join the teams!
Mike Henn told us of the fishing trip on the Bay. I'll be there at 5am on Monday looking for Halibut and Striper.
Mo Levich told us of the Jeremiah O'Brien trip, now 1/2 price.
Larry Blodgett told us of his dad's trials with a recent diagnosis of Cancer and would appreciate well wishes.
Jay L. Told us the school measures had both passed.
Fines and Happy Dollars: our honorary "most frequently fined member", Maurice Williams, was fined for his 7
series BMW. He was found to be dirt poor after the payments so was excused for this week.
Terry Ring was saddened by Cal Rugby's loss. GO BEARS!!!
Anna went on a bike ride and kayaking in Yosemite, family in tow.
Mike Heller expressed pleasure over the Lafayette Carwash, Jesse Wellen seconded that emotion, being the owner.
Diane Barbera recently got engaged and rescheduled her wedding due to a conflict with the Laf. Art and Wine Festival.
Andy Scheck is happy for his success in the bee business.
Alicia C. Was in Hawaii putting on the Ritz for a wedding.
Chuck Vogel spoke with pride of his new deck from Terry Rings construction. Mary Vogel was apparently less
sure due to two knots in the wood! Picky, picky, picky!
In place of the usual speaker, Dick Holt and John Sherry spoke of the "Concert at the Res" this Saturday and all
the details there of. By the time you read this, the event will have been the best concert event ever. Mark my
words! These guys have worked their hearts out once again and deserve all the praise we can give them.
Donations anyone? Knuck, knuck!!
Raffle: Jackpot of $25, $2-Jesse Wellen, $5- Peggy who then won the Jackpot(the fix is on!)
And that's how it went down according to this worn and torn notetaker.
Gotta love ya all, Buddy.
