Igreja Matriz da Ribeira Brava
Dentro deste monumento, construído no séc. XVI, é
possível visitar o Núcleo das Pratas, um espólio de 66
peças de prata, tais como, coroas, cálices e outros
materiais datados do séc. XVI e XVII.

Ribeira Brava Church
Inside this monument, created in the XVI century, it’s
possible to visit the Nucleus of Silver, a treasure of
66 pieces of silver like crowns, cups and other materials made of silver from the XVI and the XVII century.

Die Pfarrkirche Ribeira Brava
In der Pfarrkirche von Ribeira Brava, die im 16.
Jahrhundert gebaut wurde, kann man die Silber
Gegenstände der Kirche besichtigen, die aus 66 Teilen
besteht. Unter anderen ausgestellt sind: Kronen,
Kelche und andere Silberobjekte, die aus dem 15. und
16. Jahrhundert stammen.

Am Leuchtturmsplatz hat man einen wundervollen
Ausblick über das Meer und den Bezirk.
Die Festung von Ribeira Brava
Ursprünglich wurde die Festung erbaut um die
Ortschaft vor Feinden zu schützen. Heute dient sie als
informatives Tourismusbüro.

O edifício da Câmara Municipal (antiga residência
do Visconde deste concelho), para além da bela
arquitectura que ostenta, possuí um magnífico
jardim, com várias espécies de plantas e aves exóticas.

of the town Viscount), besides the beautiful arquitecture it also has a magnificent garden with several

Das Rathaus von Ribeira Brava
Das Rathaus von Ribeira Brava ist das ehemalige
Herrenhaus des Vicomte des Bezirks. Neben der
herrlichen Architektur, hat das Haus einen
wundervollen Garten, mit verschiedenen Pflanzen
und exotischen Vögeln.
Mercado Municipal
No Mercado Municipal pode-se encontrar, para
além do artesanato regional, géneros alimentícios
frescos, resultantes da actividade agrícola e piscatória regional.
Town Market
In the Town Market it can be found the tradiconal
handicrafts as well as fresh foodstuffs from agricultural and fishing activity in the region.
Caís
Atravessando o túnel, encontra-se o caís desta vila,
outrora piscatória. No passado era usado como
ponto fulcral para o transporte de géneros alimentícios cultivados nas zonas rurais, inclusive os produtos
vindos do norte da ilha e cujo destino era abastecer o
mercado do Funchal.
Pier
Through the tunnel you will find this town pier,
which used to be a fishing town. In the old times it
was used as the focal point for the transport of food
produced in rural areas as well as products from the
north of the island destined to the Funchal market.
Der Bootskai
Wenn man den Tunnel durchquert, gelangt man zum
Bootskai, der früher der Fischerei diente. Zusätzlich
diente der Kai dem Weitertransport von angebauten
Lebensmitteln nach Funchal. Auch Produkte die aus
dem Norden der Insel kamen wurden über den Kai
weiter nach Funchal transportiert.
Miradouro de São Sebastião
Neste magnífico miradouro pode-se desfrutar de
uma paisagem única, tendo como pano de fundo o
vale que circunda a vila e as encostas sobranceiras à
mesma. De igual modo, pode observar a extensão
de toda a vila, bem como de toda a costa marítima.
Viewpoint of São Sebastião
In this magnificent viewpoint you can enjoy a unique
cenary, having as background, the valley surrounding the town and the slopes. It also can be seen the
whole extent of the town as well as the coastline.
Markthalle
Der Aussichtspunkt von São Sebastião
In der Markthalle kann man neben regionalen
Kunsthandwerk, verschiedene frische Lebensmittel
erhalten,
die
selbst
angebaut
wurden.
Frischgefangene Fische aus der Region sind ebenso
darunter.
Von diesem Punkt aus, verfügt man über eine
einzigartige Aussicht über das Tal, dass den Bezirk
umgibt, und ihrer Felslandschaft.
Gleichfalls kann man die gesamte Kleinstadt
übersehen, sowie das gesamte Küstengebiet.
