Biography
English version: Ferdinand Owusu a.k.a. Frizzo is at home on the turntables on earth and a man who can’t be ignored in the current electronic and club
music scene. In megacities like Istanbul (Supper Club, Cristal), New York (Room Fifty5), London, St. Petersburg (Metro Club) or Bangkok (Route 66) he brought
the dancefloors to the boil and shared turntables with DJ-stars like Timbaland, DJ Kool, Travis Scott, DJ Snake and Tyga. With his special mix of urban and
electronic sounds he understands how to feel the pulse of his listeners and stirs the blood of EDM-Fans.
The fact that Frizzo leaves his traces in the Club-History is owed to chance. Actually he was on his way to become a professional soccer player but a heavy
foot injury thwarts his successful time with the football club Fortuna Düsseldorf. He gave up his career with the ball and pursued his second passion: DJing.
In spite of it all, he never lost his love for soccer. As official DJ for the football club BVB he fires up soccer stars like Neven Subotic und Marco Reus with his
music.
Not only as DJ but as well as music producer, the 29-years-old became a talking point. Together with his brother Coenigsallee he produced the album
„Blockplatin“ from Haftbefehl which was released in 2013 and was responsible for productions from Shaggy, Tamer Hosny and R. Kelly. In addition to that
he made remix productions for artists like Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris and Stefanie Heinzmann who are under contract with the label Universal Music.
Already in the past, several releases attracted attention. This year, the following is a number of releases, that could not be more different: From Trap, Twerk,
Moombahton, House to Rap, R’n’B and Electronic music, Frizzo shows what diversity is about. His EPs „Exit Only“, „Motion Picture Fantasy“ and Girls
launched the year 2015.

wegzudenken. In Metropolen wie Istanbul (Supper Club, Cristal), New York (Room Fifty5), London, St. Petersburg (Metro Club) oder in Bangkok (Route 66)
brachte er bereits die Tanzflächen zum kochen und teilte sich die Turntables mit DJ-Größen wie Timbaland, DJ Kool, Travis Scott, DJ Snake und Tyga. Mit
einem Mix aus urbanen und elektronischen Klängen trifft sein spezieller Sound den Nerv der Leute und lässt nicht nur die Herzen der EDM-Anhänger höher
schlagen.
Dabei ist es dem reinen Zufall zu verdanken, dass Frizzo seine Spuren in der Clubgeschichte hinterlässt. Auf dem besten Wege ein professioneller
Fußballspieler zu werden, durchkreuzte eine schwere Fußverletzung seine erfolgreiche Zeit bei Fortuna Düsseldorf. Er hing die Karriere mit dem runden Leder
an den Nagel und widmete sich seiner zweiten großen Leidenschaft, dem DJing. Seine Liebe zum Fußball verlor er allerdings nie und so heizt er heute auch
als offizieller DJ für den schwarz-gelben Fußballverein BVB Fußballgrößen wie Neven Subotic und Marco Reus musikalisch ein.
Nicht nur als DJ sondern auch als Musikproduzent machte der 29-jährige bereits des Öfteren von sich reden. Zusammen mit seinem Bruder Coenigsallee
produzierte er zum größten Teil das im Jahr 2013 erschienene Album „Blockplatin“ von Haftbefehl und zeigte sich für Produktionen von Shaggy, Tamer
Hosny und R. Kelly verantwortlich. Zudem produzierte er für das Label Universal Music Remixe für Künstler wie Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris und Stefanie
Heinzmann.
Nachdem Frizzo in der Vergangenheit mit der Veröffentlichung mehrerer Releases für wache Ohren sorgte, folgt in diesem Jahr erneut eine ganze Reihe von
EPs, die soundtechnisch nicht unterschiedlicher sein könnte: Von Trap, Twerk, Moombahton, House bis hin zu Rap, R’n’B und Elektro zeit Frizzo auf den
Kurzspielplatten was musikalische Vielfalt bedeutet. An den Start ging Frizzo dieses Jahr mit seinen EPs „Exit Only“, „Motion Picture Fantasy“ und „Girls“.
