Der Belgier Bandy Brooks und die Indianerin Pee Dee, deren Ahnen aus Ecuador stammten, verbanden ihre Traditionen und schufen daraus Neues. Die Kombination des Kaufmannsgeistes von
Bandy mit der an Pee überlieferten Kunst der Schokoladenherstellung trug Früchte: Schon bald
belieferten sie alle Baumwollbarone des alten Südens. Süß und pur, natürlich und verführerisch war
die Schokolade – genauso wie die unerschütterliche Liebe der Beiden.
Gut 200 Jahre später dürfen wir genießen, was der Legende nach am Ufer des Mississippi seinen
Anfang nahm: Die Bandy Brooks Company kommt nach Europa. Mit den Schokoladen, die nach wie
vor von Hand hergestellt werden. Und natürlich ohne Zusatz von künstlichen Farb-, Geschmacksund Geruchsstoffen oder Konservierungsmitteln. Feine Pralinen und exquisite Tafeln – Schokolade

They complemented each other in more than one way. Bandy Brooks from Belgium and the Indian Pee
Dee, whose ancestors had come from Ecuador, joined their traditions to create something novel. The
combination of Bandy’s merchant spirit and Pee’s traditional art of making chocolate bore fruit. Soon
they were supplying all cotton barons from the old South. Sweet and pure, natural and seductive was their
chocolate – just like the unrelenting love of Bandy and Pee itself.
At last, a good 200 years later, we can enjoy what took its beginning on the shores of the Mississippi:
the Bandy Brooks Company is coming to Europe. With chocolates still being handmade as they used to be.
And without adding artificial coloring, flavors and fragrances or preservatives. Fine chocolates and
exquisite chocolate bars – chocolate out of passion. Also in the spirit of Bandy Brooks: our ice cream.

rauschenden Mississippi die wunderschöne Squaw Pee Dee erblickte. Der Blitz der Liebe traf beide
zugleich in diesem Sommer 1815 – und verzauberte sie fortan füreinander. Reine Leidenschaft
bestimmte ihr Zusammensein.
It was certainly the decisive moment of his life when Bandy Brooks, the young man with bright blue eyes,
saw the beautiful squaw Pee Dee on the shore of the rushing waters of the Mississippi for the first time.
Love hit them like lightning during this summer of 1815 – and from then on they were enchanted by each
other. Pure passion determined their relationship.
