Ladies, are you wearing the correct bra size? The experts
from “The Loft” will be joining us to demonstrate and
measure all willing ladies.
Please bring any of the following for the convention in
Sarnia: toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, make up pads,
deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, brush or
comb, socks, shaver or razor. These items go to the
Women’s Interval Home and Migrant Workers Ministry.

Wedding Anniversary Mass
The Wedding Anniversary Mass honoring all married
couples in southwestern Ontario will be held Sunday,
May 1, 2016 at 2:30 pm, at Visitation Parish in Comber,
Ontario. Bishop Fabbro will preside at the Mass. All
married couples are invited to attend. Please call the
parish office or use the sign up forms in the back of
Church to register. Please have your registration forms
back to the parish office by April 25, 2016.

A Missa do Aniversário de Casamento para honrar todos

New Evangelization Summit 2016: Live Streaming in
St. Thomas, Amherstburg, and Sarnia
St. Anne’s Centre, St. Thomas (20 Morrison Dr.), St.
John the Baptist, Amherstburg (225 Brock St.), and Our
Lady of Mercy Parish Hall, Sarnia (390 Christina St. N.)
will be host sites for the upcoming broadcast of the New
Evangelization Summit 2016 (NES2016). The Summit
will take place Friday, April 15 from 7 - 9:30 pm and
Saturday, April 16 from 8:45 am - 4:30 pm. To order

Dear Parishioners
The first glorious mystery of the Rosary is a joy to
recite. One thinks of the joy and exultation that the
disciples felt as they realized that Jesus was truly
risen indeed. This is what we celebrate today!
The resurrection of Jesus changed everything for
the disciples. With the resurrection, the words and
actions of Jesus began to make sense. The disciples
grew in faith and, inspired by the gift of the Holy
Spirit, began their public ministry, carrying on the
work and mission of Jesus.
That is exactly what Easter should be for us today.
We need to be so inspired by the resurrection that
we carry on the work and mission of Jesus. In a
particular way during this Year of Mercy, we are
called to bring the mercy of God to the world
around us!

Caros paroquianos
O primeiro mistério glorioso do Rosário é uma
alegria para recitar. Pensa-se a alegria e exaltação
que os discípulos sentiram quando perceberam que
Jesus verdadeiramente ressuscitou. Isto é o que nós
celebramos hoje!
A ressurreição de Jesus mudou tudo para os
discípulos. Com a ressurreição, as palavras e acções
de Jesus começou a fazer sentido. Os discípulos
cresceram na fé e, inspirado pelo dom do Espírito
Santo, começou seu ministério público, continuar o
trabalho e missão de Jesus.
Isso é exactamente o que a Páscoa deveria ser para
nós hoje. Precisamos ser tão inspirado pela
ressurreição, que continuamos o trabalho e missão
de Jesus. De modo particular durante este Ano da
Misericórdia, somos chamados para levar a
misericórdia de Deus para o mundo em volta de
nós!
